RACE 1

BONNIES CAM (5) appears extremely well graded in this race with the use of a claim he drops back into what looks a winnable race. He wasn’t beaten far last start in the Gold Strike final at Marburg from the stand start in strong company. He should be suited in this race and has options early how he is driven.

QUIK CHANGE (6) is another horse that appears well graded in this race. He drew poorly last start when getting back and failing to run on late behind Miss Froufrou. He is likely to get back again in this race and should be running on late.

HES REGAL (3) ran on strongly three starts ago behind Splashndash at Albion Park who has since been able to win again. He usually shows good gate speed when drawn the front row and might be able to zip across before having options from there.

OUR ULTIMATE QUEEN (8) got a long way back two starts ago and was making up late ground in a race taken out by Arkuna. She seems a horse that is best suited doing no work early and being saved for one run and should be running on well late again.

SELECTIONS: BONNIES CAM (5), QUIK CHANGE (6), HES REGAL (3), OUR ULTIMATE QUEEN (8)

SUGGESTED BET: BONNIES CAM (5) to win.

RACE 2

THE REAL ROCKETMAN (1) was able to lead and score his latest victory at Albion Park over the 1660 leading all the way in early March. He has since had less luck and taken on stronger fields. He appears to find the right grade of race and can look to lead in this race.

GRACENAVA (9) was able to score five starts ago when coming from off the speed over the 2138 at Albion Park. This race appears to set up similar racing over her best trip and likely securing a good run off the speed. Has strong each way claims.

GENTLE GIANT (7) worked away from the pegs last start at a crucial stage in a race that ended up being dominated by runners on the pegs. He should get a good run through behind a gate speed horse in the The Real Rocketman and can be running on late.

AMERICAN BOULEVARD (4) got back in a slowly run race last start and was making up late ground behind Shadys Delight. He may get shuffled back again in this race and with a more genuine early tempo he can be running into it late.

SELECTIONS: THE REAL ROCKETMAN (1), GRACENAVA (9), GENTLE GIANT (8), AMERICAN BOULEVARD (4)

SUGGESTED BET: GRACENAVA (9) to win.

RACE 3

MALIBU DREAM (6) usually gets back in her races and looks to run on late which could be how this race sets up from her given her wide draw. She had things go wrong at Marburg locking wheels and didn’t complete the race. She had been very good her start prior at Albion Park.

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (8) started outside the back row last start at Marburg and was running on late but had too much to do in a slowly run race. She should get a good run closer to the speed this time and should be hard to hold out.

JILLIBY PANDA (9) didn’t complete the race last start when locking wheels. He had burned to lead two starts ago in a stronger race before being beaten a long way. Getting a good run off the speed this time he could bounce back.

YOGI (5) has very good gate speed and may elect to look to zip across early. If he was able to lead in this race he would likely be quite hard to run down.

SELECTIONS: MALIBU DREAM (6), DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (8), JILLIBY PANDA (9), YOGI (5)

SUGGESTED BET: MALIBU DREAM (6) to win.

RACE 4

OUR SWEET JESS (6) looks a clear standout on class in this race and should be nearing peak fitness third up from a spell. She made a mistake when first up in the Goldstrike series before racing without cover in the consolation. If she can get up she looks hard to beat.

BLACK GEMSTONE (3) has run well her last two starts. He was forced to race without cover two starts ago when beaten by Belmer Betty who had the perfect run on her back. She ran well again last start when beaten by Mysticalfantasy who had the right run on her back.

LAZENA (5) got shuffled a long way back last start and ran on well into fourth behind Rosies Boy. She draws wide this time and may be shuffled back again in this race. She will need the race run upside down.

ALLSHECANBE (7) led last start and was beaten by Saturday Dance who sat without cover. She draws awkwardly inside the back row and will likely need luck at some stage.

SELECTIONS: OUR SWEET JESS (6), BLACK GEMSTONE (3), LAZENA (5), ALLSHECANBE (7)

SUGGESTED BET: OUR SWEET JESS (6) to win.

RACE 5

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (2) has led in four of his last five starts running competitive races on each occasion. He draws to lead again in this race and if able to control things out in front he should be quite hard to run down.

THREE MACHS (9) usually races best when sitting off the speed and coming with one run. She secured a good run off the speed last start and was running on strongly late behind Miss Hattie to get into fourth late. She should be running on well again.

DONT FEAR FOR ME (6) is first up from a spell in this race. He has trialled well at Redcliffe behind Harperville and has shown he is capable of doing work when fit.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (5) secured a good run close to the speed last start and wasn’t beaten far by Shadys Delight. This race looks a touch easier but he does draw wide and will likely need the speed on early to bring him into the race.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (2), THREE MACHS (9), DONT FEAR FOR ME (6), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (5)

SUGGESTED BET: THREE MACHS (9) to win.

RACE 6

TIGER SHIRL (5) took on a very strong race which was taken out by Alwaysbjoy last start in fast time over another smart horse in Stripes. She has good gate speed and might elect to press forward in this race and look for the lead. She should be hard to beat.

UNCUT GEM (7) is first up from a spell in this race drawing awkwardly inside the back row. He returns to QLD having done his latest racing in Victoria where he found it tough for the most part. Stepping back to restricted win company he should be better suited.

BLING THE NOISE (9) was seemingly unsuited last start when left without cover at Albion Park battling on strongly for second behind Miarka. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and if there is a genuine tempo early he can be running into the finish late.

PISCINA (6) kept up very well three starts ago in a race the winner rated a very fast 1.52.4 mile rate. He has seemingly progressed nicely this preparation and despite the wide draw he looks suited in this company.

SELECTIONS: TIGER SHIRL (5), UNCUT GEM (7), BLING THE NOISE (9), PISCINA (6)

SUGGESTED BET: TIGER SHIRL (5) to win.

RACE 7

SERENUS (8) ran very well on debut when showing gate speed before handing over to Highnmighty who rated good time in that race. She had a tougher run off the pegs last start and finished sixth there behind Magic Jujon. She should find this a lot easier.

RESPECT THE MIKI (1) led last start and ran a distant second to what looks to be quite a smart horse in Heza Dirty Dancer. She should find an easier lead this time and given she lands in a weaker field she should prove quite hard to run down.

EL JEFE (2) raced without much luck last time out at Marburg when drawing inside the back row before being checked and making a break. He had run well his start prior at Marburg when getting into third late.

TENGERRI (7) raced without luck last start when shuffled a long way back at Redcliffe in a race taken out by Dont Ask Again. He is likely to secure a good run this time following a gate speed horse.

SELECTIONS: SERENUS (8), RESPECT THE MIKI (1), EL JEFE (2), TENGERRI (7)

SUGGESTED BET: SERENUS (8) to win.
