Form Analysis: Redcliffe April 9

RACE 1 

MULLUM JUDITH (4) ran well last start hitting the line nicely once into the clear. She has been impressive since joining the stable of Jack Butler and appears to be closing in on another win. She has the draw advantage on her ley rivals in this race and may look to maintain that in the early stages of this race. 

WILPEKA (5) got a long way back last start and was running on late through the line. She hasn’t had much luck in recent outings and that luck hasn’t changed yet when its come to barrier draws in this race drawing wide. 

THATS OUR BOY (9) ran on strongly last start after securing a good run at this track in a race taken out by Miki Moo in fast time. He should get a good run off the speed again and if the race is run to suit he should be running on well late. 

WHERES MY BLING (3) ran well last start to finish midfield behind Miki Moo. She should get a good run close enough to the speed and can be running on well again.

RACE 2 

BLACK GEMSTONE (4) went career best last start when sitting without cover and forging to the front before being run down late by Belmer Betty who had the perfect run on his back. He should be able to work to the lead this time and should be very hard to run down.

MYSTICALFANTASY (5) ran a good second five starts ago behind The Blingster at this track. She has since taken on much stronger races and has been running well. She may get shuffled back early and should be running on well late.

LADY ALLEGRA (8) drew poorly last start before making a break which took her out of contention. She had been well beaten her start prior in a much stronger race at Albion Park. She can bounce back.

WECANONLYDREAM (7) ran well three starts ago behind Icanandiwill at Albion Park. She has since run another two good placings and appears to be working towards another win.

RACE 3

MAGIC NITRO (1) was able to lead two starts ago and was forced to do a bit of work in the early stages of the race. She looks the likely leader again and if she can control things a bit more in the early stages she should prove quite hard to run down. 

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6) ran a good race last start when sitting without cover and just being run down late by Miss Hattie who had a soft run. He draws wide and may be forced to do work again in this race. 

TRACER BULLET (8) has been racing well below his best in recent outings. He should get a good run off the speed and at his best races well at this trip.

BETTING BARON (5) seems to love racing over the 2040 and lands in the right type of race. He should be worth including at likely each way odds.

RACE 4 

TOMMY BLIGH (1) is going better than his numerical form suggests. He finished fifth last start after drawing somewhat awkwardly in a race taken out by Amillionchances. He should have the gate speed to lead in this race and from there should be hard to run down.

MULLUM DOC (7) has been in good form racing without luck recently. He should get a great run through behind a gate speed horse that is likely to be keen to hold a forward position and should be hard to hold out late.

ILLBEWATCHING (3) worked very hard last start and ran a very good race finishing a close up third. He may be forced to work again in this race but is going well and should be capable. 

CAPTAIN FOXTROT (6) was finally able to break through for another win last start and might be able to go on with it now. He has always been a capable horse with a nice turn of foot and if the speed is on he should be running on late.

RACE 5

DOCTA FEELGOOD (2) should be able to work to the lead again which is a position he loves to race in. His two recent seconds both came when leading and being run down late. He ran well again last start and looks ready to win.

MARTY THE MARTIAN (8) has won two of his last three starts before running well again last start finishing midfield behind Fate Awaits. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and will be running on late again.

BLUE SUEDE ROCKA (7) draws a touch awkwardly in this race inside the back row following a runner that’s likely to be favoured in this race. He finished off strongly last start once clear and appears to be working back into some better form.

AQUA SACTA (6) draws awkwardly outside the front row in this race which is likely to see him shuffled back. He has been racing in good form and just wasn’t suited last start starting off 30 metres in the Gold Strike final at Marburg.

RACE 6 

PUNTERS JEWEL (9) was very impressive last start when racing 3 wide on the track and sweeping past them late to score. He should get a good run off the speed again in this race and if the race is run to suit he will be hard to hold out again.

HARPERVILLE (8) trialled up smartly recently at Redcliffe when beating Eye See Theseaside and Lenny Lincoln. She is having her first start for the stable of Doug Wilson and is likely to be hard to beat in this grade of race.

LITTLE HOODANANNY (4) was able to score a good win three starts ago when sitting without cover and proving too good there. She draws awkwardly in this race and may be forced to do some work again at some stage. 

LITTLE SURFER GIRL (1) ran on fairly last start in a race taken out by Sports Bounty. She draws well this time and has good gate speed which should give her options in the early stages.
