Form Analysis: Albion Park May 11

11 May 2026

RACE ONE

Tackling a 947 Trot Rods scamper last time out, MITCHELLS RUN (6) eased in the early stages before charging home in the closing stages to be a half-head from the winner. Fired off the arm from this same gate two starts back, with similar speed, he can dictate and open the Qld account.

 SAN SABA (1)
was sent forward last start and after sitting parked was unable to fight on in the closing stages. Runner-up at Marburg two starts back when starting in red figures from gate 1, she secures the options off the inside to issue a challenge.

 MACS A DUDE (4)
will find this easier than recent outings, the latest at Marburg when fading after setting the speed. Positioning cheaply in this line up will assist his claims.

 ART JESTER (10)
was buried away at Marburg last start and was unable to find the space to make a meaningful play. Any tempo here will assist his chances of descending on them.

SELECTIONS: MITCHELLS RUN (6), SAN SABA (1), MACS A DUDE (4), ART JESTER (10)
SUGGESTED BET: MITCHELLS RUN (6) to win

RACE TWO

A Redcliffe runner-up three starts back when sent forward from a wide gate, VODKA EN ICE (6) was working in the early stages to find the position outside the leader and was game in defeat when under 2m from the winner. Cashing in last start when descending on them, he finds conditions to repeat.

 PROSPECTUS (2)
features in a stable change and line up following a last start 2nd from the pocket trail when only a head from the winner. Not suited when parked the start prior, she can look to force the issue in the early stages and throw down the challenge.

 THE REAL ROCKETMAN (10)
fired off the arm on Thursday to find the front but was unable to fight off the challengers as he faded late. This is an easier assignment and he can join in.

 MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1)
maps for an easy trip which will assist his podium claims. A Redcliffe winner three starts back when finishing hard from deep field, he will be probing.

VODKA EN ICE (6) to win

RACE THREE

CALL IT BLING (9) started from gate 7 at 2138 last start and made a mid-race move to get outside the leader. Fighting on gamely to hold 3rd behind THE LADY DIOR, it followed a much tougher contest where he was near the rear. Dropping into this grade, he has the class to breakthrough.

 VIENNA OPERA (5)
eased from middle of the line here two starts back and made a late play to grab the bronze when 3m from the winner TAKE A CHANCE. Sent around them from the second line at Redcliffe last start to sit parked, she can issue a challenge.

 TIGER SHIRL (6)
started deep into the red at Redcliffe last start from gate 5 where she was taken back in the early stages. Unable to reel in the winner UNCUT GEM in holding 2nd, she can feature again here.

 THATS OUR BOY (8)
has hit the board at his past five in succession, including a Redcliffe victory when finishing strongly from the second line to score. In his first look at the big deck, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: CALL IT BLING (9), VIENNA OPERA (5), TIGER SHIRL (6), THATS OUR BOY (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
CALL IT BLING (9) to win

RACE FOUR

Not much has been in the favour of VINCENT TIME (2) in recent starts, the latest when forced to park at Marburg over 2200. Game in defeat when 7m astern of the winner, the start prior he tackled a qualifier and was not too far from the winner ALWAYS DANCING. With speed from this gate, he can capitalise.

 KALASA (1)
has placed at his past two starts, the latest when strong to the line after facing a second line gate at Marburg. With the improved gate, he can settle closer to the action and saved for the; last shot can throw down the challenge.

 DUAL CAM (4)
has been in good touch since changing stables and was too classy out in front last start at Redcliffe. Posting a huge 25m margin to score, this is harder, but he is going well enough to feature.

 QUIK CHANGE (6)
has shown some improvement in recent starts from second line barriers. Under 5m from the winner HEAVENS BADGIRL two starts back, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: VINCENT TIME (2), KALASA (1), DUAL CAM (4), QUIK CHANGE (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
VINCENT TIME (2) to win

ACE FIVE

Striking trouble soon after the start, JIMMY JOYCE (3) was able to reset and press on to find the front last time out but could not fend them off in the closing stages. With the speed to look for the lamp lighting duties once again, he can stake claim to a 2026 victory.

 MY ULTIMATE RUDI (4)
will take further benefit from the latest outing when second up from a spell. Drawn inside the second line in both return runs, he was under 3m from the winner VODKA EN ICE last time out at Redcliffe, he finds favourable conditions to challenge in this.

 MULLUM BOY (5)
has faced second line barriers at Marburg at the past two starts, the latest when pinned away and never a factor. Settling closer from this gate will assist his place hopes.

 ROLLONX (8)
faced an outside second line gate at Redcliffe last start and was trying to get warm in the closing stages when unplaced. With early options he has podium claims here.

SELECTIONS: JIMMY JOYCE (3), MY ULTIMATE RUDI (4), MULLUM BOY (5), ROLLONX (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
JIMMY JOYCE (3) to win

RACE SIX

Setting the tempo from this gate at this trip four runs back, MOLLIDOR (1) led them every step bar the one that counted when collared on the line. Down the line at her next two, she held on for the bronze behind PARTY CHANGER last start at Marburg and has the gate to chase her first AP victory.

 MALIBU DREAM (6)
is another that is yet to taste victory here at HQ following 21 attempts. Making late metres off the track at Redcliffe last start when holding on for the bronze behind VODKA EN ICE, she can issue a challenge in a race where many don’t have the best conversion rate at this track.

 SPORTY AZZ (8)
can look to follow through behind a good beginner and settling close to the action will search for gaps. If they arrive with momentum in his favour, he can be thereabouts.

 SHADYS DELIGHT (7)
backs up from Redcliffe on Friday night where he looked to have a tough task from outside the front line owing to the ODM embargo. With this slightly easier, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: MOLLIDOR (1), MALIBU DREAM (6), SPORTY AZZ (8), SHADYS DELIGHT (7)
 SUGGESTED BET:
Exotics 1-6-7-8

RACE SEVEN

Easing for position from this same gate last start, LOUMINATE (3) found running line cover before making metres over the closing stages to be 5m adrift of the winner CHINCHAGA BLAZE. Not suited when parked as MOVE IT LOU scored a sharp win two back, this looks ideal.

 LACEYS LASS (8)
will strip fitter following her latest start where she was second up from a break and met far superior opponents to what she will face here. Strong to the line when resuming and under 2m from the winner WILPEKA, she has options as the lone second line runner to challenge.

 ROCKN SAM (2)
was a winner on debut in September last year, finishing over the top in the closing stages, Down the line in two runs back this season, this looks a more suitable set up.

 DOUG STEWART (6)
has placed in two appearances here on the big deck but faces another tough draw. Starting outside the front-line last start at Marburg, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: LOUMINATE (3), LACEYS LASS (8), ROCKN SAM (2), DOUG STEWART (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
LOUMINATE (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

RANGER RON (3) starts his 3YO season in this assignment where he also steps out for a new stable. Unplaced in three 2YO appearances at Redcliffe last year, je finds an improved gate and in an open maiden, might just have found the conditions to capitalise.

 STAY DANCING (8)
faced the starter on three occasions at the end of 2025, finishing unplaced in each. Transferring stables during a break, she returns to the track here and with a tidy trial in readiness for the return, secures second line options to throw down a challenge.

 WANNABE WICKED (4)
is a 2YO filly on debut for Graham Dwyer by Mcwicked. With a tidy trial in readiness for her first appearance, she is a podium hope.

 MACGYVA (5)
started from gate 1 at Redcliffe two starts back where he was able to hold on for the bronze behind SHAKE. A tricky gate makes the task difficult here.

SELECTIONS: RANGER RON (3), STAY DANCING (8), WANNABE WICKED (4), MACGYVA (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
