Form Analysis: Albion Park May 19

19 May 2026

RACE ONE

With two wins and a narrow head 2nd from three starts on this deck, MOVE IT LOU (4) can look to add another W to the tally here. First to the poles before releasing last start, he had the closing speed to charge through and take victory. Defeating ALWAYS B COOL two back, he can cash in.

 SHANKYS SHOT (5)
was beaten by a wide gate first up on this side of the Tasman when running on over the closing stages for 3rd behind BARSBY. Pressing on to take control second up, he scored a smart win. 3rd behind the smart ALWAYS B COOL last start, he can challenge.

 PASSCHENDAELE (6)
made his first appearance in Qld last time out when faced with gate 7 and producing a tough effort for 2nd when under 2m from the winner RUBY RHAYNE BOW. The small field and added fitness can see him feature.

SELECTIONS: MOVE IT LOU (4), SHANKYS SHOT (5), PASSCHENDAELE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 4-5-6

RACE TWO

Faced with a 40m handicap last start, ALADDIN SANE (1) chased home in good order to grab the bronze behind NORTHERN HEIGHTS. Buried away here three starts back from a 20m tape when 6m from the in-form SOUTHERN DIAMOND, he can make the most of the front tape here.

 DARCYS FIREBALL (9)
started from the second line under mobile conditions last time out when holding on for the bronze behind SOUTHERN DIAMOND. Striking trouble the start prior when finishing near the tail, a safe getaway will see him challenge.

 DHONI TROUBLE (4)
returns for another winter campaign having placed at his past two starts following four runs back from a spell. A winner off 30m at his last Qld outing, a safe start will see him feature.

 IZARRA (8)
has faced the starter on three occasions since returning from a break, the latest when finding the trail and finishing midfield. With good starting manners, she can feature.

SELECTIONS:
ALADDIN SANE (1), DARCYS FIREBALL (9), DHONI TROUBLE (4), IZARRA (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

The first of two QBRED Breeders Heats for the fillies where REBECCA RHAYNE BOW (5) can look to build off her debut when chasing home the smart-looking AARDIES A STAR. Under 5m from that winner, she tackles the more open of the two heats and can look to capitalise.

 GO MINNIE (6)
started from inside the second line last start but could not keep the back of the one which led and dictated to victory. Midfield in that, it followed successive 2nd place returns at her first two appearances and with the right trip, she can challenge this.

 OUR ULTIMATE HEIDI (4)
lines up for the new stable fresh from a break after tackling the Bathurst Tiara series. With a local trial in readiness, she is a podium hope.

 MAJOR CIARA (2)
was taken to Marburg for her debut where she struck an inside second line gate. Striking trouble before working for a tidy 3rd, the added experience and back to the big deck will help.

SELECTIONS: REBECCA RHAYNE BOW (5), GO MINNIE (6), OUR ULTIMATE HEIDI (4), MAJOR CIARA (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
REBECCA RHAYNE BOW (5) to win

RACE FOUR

The second of the heats for the fillies where HARPER DELIGHT (3) appears the best filly to have hit the track in Queensland thus far in 2026. Runner-up to SOUL HUNTER on debut, a wide gate and tempo stung second up before a stylish dictating win last time. With a smart trial since that victory, she can capitalise here.

 GEMS MAGIC (5)
was a Redcliffe winner on debut when holding the trail from gate 1 and finishing best to scire at big odds. Taking experience, she has been kept fresh since the victory and despite a tricky gate, can look to position cheaply to challenge.

 JEWEL REASON (8)
found the pocket trail here last start from two off the second line and held on for the silver behind the handy winner AARDIES A STAR. Unplaced in a two-start Bathurst trip, she will be probing here.

 SHINE LIKE ME (9)
was well supported on debut but ended her chances with a costly error. A beaten fav from gate 1 second up as BETTOR ONE arrived, she can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: HARPER DELIGHT (3), GEMS MAGIC (5), JEWEL REASON (8), SHINE LIKE ME (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:
HARPER DELIGHT (3) to win

RACE FIVE

Despite racing well, it is now over 2 months since INSTANT DELIGHT (6) last landed victory. Strong to the line here last week from a 50m tape when runner-up to NORTHERN HEIGHTS, she has good early speed from the mobile and finds conditions to break the drought.

 IGNITE (3)
overcame a 20m handicap last start to finish best and claim victory by 5m. Unable to finish it off the start prior after racing in the trail, he has been consistent throughout the season and despite just a solitary win from behind the start car, can throw down a challenge here.

 LAYDOWNLUNA (7)
has had a mixed return to the track in four runs this season, with a pair of placings and a pair of questionable efforts. Despite a wide gate, at her best, she can feature.

 CASCATA (2)
has been trotting cleanly in recent starts, the latest when not a lot went in her favour behind SOUTHERN DIAMOND. A winner two starts back, she can feature here.

SELECTIONS: INSTANT DELIGHT (6), IGNITE (3), LAYDOWNLUNA (7), CASCATA (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
INSTANT DELIGHT (6) to win

RACE SIX

With two wins from three starts, PARISIAN HUSTLER (7) will chase another here despite the wide gate. Forcing the issue last start to take control and post a 6m margin to claim an effortless win, he is yet to be fully tested and can defy the gate to assert his dominance again here.

 MY ULTIMATE JED (1)
resumes from a spell following a last start 4th in the Group 1 Bathurst Gold Crown Final. Hitting the line in good order after being shuffled back early, he features in a stable switch and with two inconclusive trials in readiness for the return, has the gate to challenge.

 HUNT FOR GLORY (9)
was green on debut when holding on for the bronze behind SOUL HUNTER. Scoring an impressive victory second up, the second line dents his chances in this.

 SAVAGE SEAS (6)
is a royally bred gelding on debut, the full brother to CAPTAIN SHUFFLES and FRANKIE FEROCIOUS. Producing a smart qualifying trial, he looks to have his share of ability.

SELECTIONS:
PARISIAN HUSTLER (7), MY ULTIMATE JED (1), HUNT FOR GLORY (9), SAVAGE SEAS (6)

SUGGESTED BET: PARISIAN HUSTLER (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

The second of the colts and gelding’s heats where SCAR STRUCK (9) returns from an NSW trip that produced a solid 3rd and a victory. Sitting parked in a Gold Crown heat when 4m from the winner, he scored a strong Bathurst win at his last run before returning. With a tidy trial to open the pipes, he can capitalise.

 BETTOR ONE (5)
produced a smart debut effort at Redcliffe from a second line gate, sent around them to sit parked and then finishing just a half-neck from a 3YO winner. Franking that effort with a strong second up victory again against older types, he can throw it down here.

 BET HES SWEET (2)
will benefit from his debut performance when eased from gate 5 to secure position before closing late to be under 3m from the winner. An improved gate helps.

 MAYWYN SON OF LOU (6)
was a winner on debut when leading from this same gate and taking them all the way. 3rd to PARISIAN HUSTLER last start, he can make a podium play once again.

SELECTIONS: SCAR STRUCK (9), BETTOR ONE (5), BET HES SWEET (2), MAYWYN SON OF LOU (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
SCAR STRUCK (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

Relying on some factors in her favour, if BEEJAYS STAR (8) can spot space with track to work with, she might just be able to pinch this. 3rd when resuming from a spell behind JEFFCOATE, she was a beaten fav last start from gate 10. From the gate she will be stalking.

WARRAWEE FLYER (3)
was a Trot Rods winner at the 947 three starts back when powering up late in the closing stages to arrive. Setting the tempo from this gate at her next start when 3rd behind UNCLE TONY, she can show early hustle to issue the challenge.

GOODOLBOYSANDBEER (2)
has placed in two of his past three starts, the latest when taken back from a wide gate before making some late metres. Settling closer from this gate helps.

JACCKA COOPER (10)
is first up for the new stable and resumes from a spell without a trial. The gate makes it an ask fresh but saved for one shot can make a late play.

SELECTIONS: BEEJAYS STAR (8), ASCOT SHOWTIME (1), GOODOLBOYSANDBEER (2), JACCKA COOPER (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

HOT ROD HARRY (4) faced the outside of the front line and outside of the second line at his past two starts. Not too far away last time at the 2138 as DOUGS FLAME took the win, the start prior he was hitting the line in good order when 4m from BUDDY PERFECT. Small field helps.

FRANCO MACHO (1)
used his gate speed to fire across from gate 4 last time out, taking control over this same trip and holding on to post a 2m margin. Runner-up two starts back, he can make the most of the gate to issue another challenge.

OUR INDIFFERENCE (7)
has faced some tough gates since returning from a spell and faces another tough one here. Tempo will assist his chances of making a closing play.

 CRUFFY (6)
has two wins in his past three starts, the latest when finishing over the top at 2138. With the chance to settle handy in the small field, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: HOT ROD HARRY (4), FRANCO MACHO (1), OUR INDIFFERENCE (7), SCRUFFY (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
HOT ROD HARRY (4) to win
