RACE TWO

Completing a hat-trick of wins here last week, MEGS BOY (2) was crossed early before somehow finding a needle-eye gap to get off the fence and work around to take control. Taking a 5m margin, the big query will be the rise to 2138, but off the past three, he gets every chance.

 STRIKEM (1) has been runner-up in four of his past five starts, the latest when starting deep into the red at the mile in a 75Consolation. Setting the speed, he was nabbed in the closing strides to go under a head. Close margins behind TYSON and ARRIVE at his previous two, he is right in the fight.

 COTCHINELLIE (8) has been freshened since his last start when leading every step bar the one that counted when reeled in by SESIDE GLORY. Winning three in succession prior, the fence trip appeals fresh.

 REDS ABLAZE (3) returned from a spell in fine style with a Redcliffe victory in tough fashion when parked and pulling clear to put a 7m gap on them. From the gate, she is right in the mix.

RACE THREE

After two runs back from a spell where he has not had things in his favour, I GOT CHILLS (1) finds the ideal conditions to bounce back. Tackling a standing start event when resuming and making a critical error, he burned hard last start from a wide gate. With the lack of pressure to the outside, he gets his chance to dictate.

 ROCK HAMMER (8) pushed on to find the front at Redcliffe last start and was trying to fend them off in the closing stages when 4m from the winner COMMODORE JUJON which descended late. Following the speed, if he can continue to roll in space, he is some hope.

 EAGLESPRIDE (9) is effective of saved for one shot and with the chance to drop to the poles early will secure a soft trip and be ready to launch when the gaps open.

 LOCHINVAR CAMARO (10) was working through the middle stages last start and was still there in a bunched finish when under 5m from the winner MIKIS JOE. He can join in again.

OZZIE PUNTA (8) has been runner-up at his past two when chasing home ELLIS STRETT on each occasion. 5m away last start when taking the trail, he will be on the poles again and probing.

MANILA PLAYBOY (6) chased home from this same gate two starts back to grab the bronze behind CALL TO ORDER. Too far back last start, he has podium claims.

Despite a second line gate and a winless 2026 from nine attempts, TREMENDOUS SENSATION (10) might just have found her breakthrough opportunity. Strong to the line in the closing stages when a half-head from POST PAINTER two starts back and then 1m away last time, she can arrive.

DEBBIE LINCOLN (5) is the big query, arriving from NZ into the Mouse Brennan barn off a last start G1 victory at Addington over 2600. Arriving a six-time winner, she was not asked of much in a local trial against lesser opposition. Attacking this first up, she stays under a big watch.

PUMPKIN PAT (1) faces a rise in grade to tackle open mares but is well served with the advantage of the inside gate. Placed at her past three in succession, the latest behind MEGS BOY, she is a podium hope.

REASON TO SHINE (6) is afforded no favours from the wide gate, but her form has been strong in recent weeks. A winner two starts back and then charging home last start, she has claims.

JIMARTEE (5) has placed in three of his past four starts, the latest from the fence when running on for the bronze behind DASHING. Positioning cheaply will be the key here.

ATTACHMENT (2) was chasing a hat-trick of wins when stepping up to open company last start from gate 5. Just behind the placings as DASHING dictated, he can be thereabouts again.

GOLDEN SUNSET (4) has good speed off the arm and should appreciate a return to the front line after starting from inside the second line last start. Grabbed in the last strides after setting the speed here two starts back, she has placed in five of eight this term as a win proves elusive. In a great trotting contest where the best in the state will battle, with GUS the only absentee.

NOT AS PROMISED (1) rolled forward and was forced to work at the mile last time out and fought hard for the silver as MUFASA METRO arrived up the lane. A gritty 3^rd the start prior when 3m astern of ZEALOUS SPUR, he has the inside advantage to issue the challenge.

ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (2) continues to make inroads as he progresses through the grades and lines up following a last start 2^nd behind ZEALOUS SPUR after working hard in the run. Nathan Dawson opting for the reins could be a serious lead.

HIDE AND SEEK (6) is never far away and has placed in three of his past five, the latest at 2138 wit a bronze behind ZEALOUS SPUR. Under 3m from MUFASA METRO two back, he has claims.

LULLABY (1) has placed at her past two starts when faced with a second line gate on each occasion. Best of the chasing pack behind SALLY BIGTIME last week, she grabbed the bronze behind COOL AND CLASSY the week prior. From the gate she can secure the trip to challenge.

 EASIDE GLORY (9) was left flat and chasing as SALLY BIGTIME roared clear last start with 500m remaining. Chasing three in succession in that contest, she can follow through early to feature.

SHES CRYSTAL (3) was second up for the new barn last week when eased at the start over 2138. Midfield and running on, it followed a tidy first up 2^nd and she can feature here.

The first 2YO feature of the year in the Sunshine State where PARISIAN HUSTLER (6) can defy the outside gate in the small field where he resumes from a let up. Runner-up on debut behind SCAR STRUCK, he was sent to the front second up and controlling the speed scored a smart win. With a handy trial to open the pipes, this is within reach.

MAYWYN SON OF LOU (1) has been kept fresh since his debut victory when sent forward off the arm from gate 6 to set the tempo. Fighting them off and scoring a 2m victory at big odds, he has trialed in good order since the win and from the inside gate can throw it down.

ROCKY HUNTER (3) placed in his first two career starts including a tidy 3^rd on debut when 2m from MAYWYN SON OF LOU after hitting the line in good style. Dictating from gate 1 to break maiden ranks last time at Redcliffe, he can feature again here.

KYLOAN QUEEN (4) was returning from a spell for the new stable when sent hard from gate 7 to take control and produce a PB at the mile. Starting from inside the second line last start and locked away, she was hitting the line strongly to be just an eyelash short of victory. From the front, she will take some catching.

HELL OF A HAND (2) has placed at her past three in succession and with the small field can look for the poles and the shortest way home. Runner-up to TOUGH SHAZ from the trail last start, she can join in.

SALLY BIGTIME (6) sat in the running line from this same gate at 2138 last week and when set free, charged clear and posted a huge margin. She looks like a threat again here.
