Form Analysis: Redcliffe May 13

RACE 1 

SWEET LAD JUJON (1) put in a great run last start when getting shuffled back to last before running on strongly into a midfield position in a race taken out by Bubba Nay over the 2138 at Albion Park. He has moderate gate speed and if he can work through and lead he should be hard to beat. 

GETAGRIP (2) has options in this race from a good draw in this race whether he elects to jump onto the back of the 1 or press for the lead early. He led two starts ago and was able to run a good second to Mikis Joe over the 1660 at Albion Park. 

HES SWEET (5) ran last in his latest outing over the 2138 at this track but was beaten by a smart one there in Megs Boy. He had been racing well and is a horse that might be suited by racing at this shorter distance. 

SPASH OF PAYNT (3) bowled along outside the leader at this track over the 2040 last time out before fading late to finish 7^th. He may have just gone a touch too quickly there over the 2040 and should run well up on speed over the shorter trip in this race.

RACE 2 

ROSTOVA (1) showed good gate speed last start to zip across and lead over the 2138 at Albion Park and was only just run down in the concluding stages by Bubba Nay. She should have the speed to lead again from the inside draw and looks like she may be suited to the Trot Rods format. 

BARRETT (3) secured an economical off the speed but wasn’t suited by a slow tempo in that race and wasn’t beaten far by War Club. He is a speedy horse that should be suited by short course racing. He should be close enough and can run well. 

LOCHINVAR CAMARO (2) secured a good run on the pegs last start behind Major Crunch and was able to hang onto third there. He should be able to secure a similar type of run in this race on the pegs and can run well again. 

MISS FROUFROU (6) looks the class runner in this race but has drawn the worst which appears to make it tough. She was able to run second recently behind Sir Richard Lee who ran fast time in winning.

RACE 3

KERBANG (1) was able to score last time out leading all the way over the short course. He steps back up in trip to the 2040 and should be able to lead. If he can settle jumping right up in trip he should be hard to run down. 

JUST A COOL DUDE (7) raced without luck last time out when getting back and being forced to come widest in the run home in a race taken out by Bracken Warrior. He should get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse and will be running on late. 

CHAMONIX (8) should have options in the early stages of this race whether he elects to stay off the fence or jump onto the back of his stablemate Just A Cool Dude. He ran well two starts ago when leading and just beaten by Smarter Than You who had the perfect run on his back. 

WINDY HILL WALLY (9) usually enjoys racing at this distance. He ran well three starts ago battling on for a good third in a race the winner rated good time over the 2040 at this track.

RACE 4 

VINNIE NITRO (1) flashed home late to score last time out at this track. She has led and won previously and should have the gate speed to hold before having options from there whether she takes a sit or elects to lead. 

LENNY LINCOLN (2) has moderate early speed and can look to press forward and race in a prominent position in this race. He took on a heat of the Trot Rods series last time out and ran well there when finishing a close up second. 

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (7) should get a good run through behind a horse that is likely to be favoured in this race. He has been racing in very good form. He won impressively two starts ago at this track over the 2040. If the gaps appear at the right time he should be running on well. 

REAL TIN TIN (4) looked suited to the trot rods format last start and was able to lead all the way. He seems to be best suited when sat up and saved for one run at them late and should go well .

RACE 5

SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (2) has found form recently and was able to break through last start to score a well deserved win. He should be able to press forward and potentially find the lead in this race. He should be hard to beat. 

DOOO DON’T THINK (1) should get the perfect run just behind the speed in this race. He loomed up looking the winner two starts ago but just wasn’t quite able to run down the winner Sunny Cove.

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (8) has been closing in on another victory. She should get a good economical run off the speed in this race and will be running into it strongly late. 

DIPPED IN SILVER (6) is rarely far away in races. Draws widest this time which looks to make things tough and will need the race run to suit.

RACE 6 

MIKI MOO (9) has raced without luck in recent outings and looks very close to another win. She was caught wide for a majority of the race last time out when finishing a close up third behind Ucancallme Al and Im Busted. She appears the best horse in the race and should be very hard to beat.

MISTER FREEMAN (2) has moderate gate speed which looks a query in the early stages. If he can drive through and lead this race he should be very hard to run down having rated fast time at this track previously when forced to race without cover. 

UCANCALLME AL (6) was able to work to the lead last time out and proved too good for Lovn Osman there rating good time out in front. He draws widest this time and looks unlikely he can lead in this race. He would need a few things to go his way to win again. 

RALLY AROUND (3) ran well last time out in a slowly run race taken out by Pure Grunt at Albion Park. He draws favourably in this race and should be close enough in the run.

RACE 7

GOTTA DREAM (2) is having his first start for the stable of Nathan Rothwell. He should be able to zip across to the lead in the early stages and should be very hard to run down in this race. He should be hard to catch. 

THE CASUAL GOOSE (8) draws well to follow through a quick beginner in the form of Gotta Dream in this race. He has been left without cover his last two outings and has battled on well both times. He should run well again. 

THREE MACHS (9) is a capable sit sprinter and seemingly draws favourably in this race to get an economical run early. She finished midfield last start behind Major Lincoln who has since run well. 

PLANET DOWNS (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race and will need luck at the right time. He has been racing well and should be thereabouts with luck.

SUGGESTED BET: GOTTA DREAM (2) to win.

RACE 8

ALL EYES ON BLING (4) led two race starts ago and was just run down very late by Magic Jujon after getting a touch keen out in front. She draws the best of the main chances in this race and can likely look to lead again.

MACK ATTACK (5) has been knocking on the door for another win having strung together a number of good placings in recent outings. He was finishing off well recently when running second to Elka Angel who has since won again.

DUMBLIN CITY RAMBLA (7) sat without cover last time out proving too good for Lostandfound. The draw looks a lot more awkward inside the back row and he will need luck at the right time to work into the clear. 

SCHOONERS (2) appears to bring very moderate NSW form into this race. She is having her first start for a new stable in this race and may be worth keeping safe.

RACE 9

MALARKY (2) should have the early speed to drive through and force to the lead in this race from a perfect draw. This appears a touch easier than some of her recent outings at Albion Park and she should be hard to run down. 

LOSTANDFOUND (4) ran well last start finding the front and just being run down late by Dumblin City Rambla in good time. He should be able to press forward find a prominent position up on speed and should be thereabouts again.

MULLUM JUDITH (3) rated good time in winning two starts ago when running over the top late. She should be close enough to the speed in this race and can run well again.

VICTREE CHARLIE (8) seems to lack the change up speed needed to finish off his races and win. He has been close up a number of times in recent outings and just hasn’t quite been able to win.

RACE 10

TOMMY TIME (4) had a few issues doing things wrong last campaign which seemingly ruined his chances in a number of races. He took on a strong trial recently at Albion Park and was able to run third behind Bennydasook and Always B Cool. 

WAIT WHAT (5) ran well enough after following the pegs last time out on debut. He is likely to have derived a lot of benefit from his first outing at the races and should go well in this company.

SERGENTMAJOR JUJON (6) seems to struggle at times getting around the track when left off the pegs which sees the widest draw in this race a touch tricky. He comes into this race third up from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness. 

DISEMBARK (1) trialled up reasonably in a recent trial at Albion Park which looks likely to be a trial that produces a number of winners. The draw helps on debut, he should run well.
