Form Analysis: Redcliffe May 15

RACE 1 

SIR RICHARD LEE (7) scored a dominant win two starts ago at this track rating very fast time leading all the way. He was then shuffled back to a position 3 back on the pegs last time out before not quite finishing it off. If he can hold the leaders back early he should be hard to hold out late. 

CALLING BUDDY (6) was forced to race without cover last time out when battling on quite well at this track. He was able to run on from off the speed four starts ago to beat Gleneagle Vee Cee at this track rating good time for the grade. 

MYNAMESEVAN (1) led last start and was well beaten there finishing 6 metres from the winner but had almost a month between runs coming into that race. He may have derived benefit from the outing and could prove hard to run down in this race. 

ROLL UP (9) got back in the run last start in a race taken out by Commodore Jujon at Albion Park where he was making up late ground. He should get a good run off the speed and should be running into it late.

RACE 2 

DUAL CAM (3) showed good gate speed last start to find the position outside the leader before forging to the lead and just being run down late by Vincent Time. He looks to find a race where he can work to the lead and should be very hard to run down. 

ETERNAL BLISS (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race and follows out a horse likely to take a sit. She was a dominant winner last start in an easier race when finding the front and leading all the way. She looks ready to make the step up in grade. 

ART JESTER (1) was driven quietly last time out and appeared to hit the line nicely when running into sixth. He should get a good run just behind the speed in this race and should run well.

IMPERMISSIBLE (5) has poor numerical form having not finished better than eighth her past four outings. She should find this a lot easier dropping back in grade and seems to like racing over the shorter course.

RACE 3

TIGER TOMMY (8) has been racing in good form and seems to like racing at this track and trip. She was able to score back to back wins three and four starts ago when running home over the top late. She can look to do the same again in this race. 

LITTLEMICKEY (7) should get a good run through behind La Bomba in this race which is a horse that has gate speed. He will need luck at the right time from inside the back row but seemingly looks the class runner in this field and should be hard to beat.

WANDARY DELIGHT (2) has good early speed and should be able to press forward and find a prominent position in this race. She finished close up last start behind Last Call and Vinnie Nitro at this track and distance and should run well again. 

LA BOMBA (1) was well below her best last start when pulling wide and failing to run on behind Major Lincoln. She has had two weeks since her latest outing and from an ideal draw she could run a better race.

RACE 4 

GOOD WORD THAT (8) looks set to get a good run off the speed in this race from a soft trailing draw. He was a good winner at Marburg leading all the way before running fairly when finishing fourth last time out after securing a good run on the pegs. 

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (1) isn’t blessed with brilliant early speed which could see him shuffled back if he isn’t able to begin quickly in this race. He was a good winner five starts ago when sitting without cover at this track and a similar effort would see him hard to beat in a race like this. 

TOMMY BLIGH (4) is having his first run for a new stable in this race and draws a touch awkwardly in gate 4. He has early speed and may look to press forward and race in a prominent position. 

CONNIES SPIRIT (6) has excellent gate speed which could help her overcome the wide draw in this race. She has been racing in good form and continued that good run of form last start when second to Smirks Lika Boss who has since won again.

RACE 5

QILIN (1) should have enough early speed to drive through and lead this race. He drew poorly last start getting back in the run and finishing off well. He has shown previously he is a capable leader and should run well again in this race. 

INSIDE MAGIC (7) was having his first run back in QLD last start when sitting without cover and battling on fairly. He looks likely to get a much better run this time inside the back row following a gate speed horse and should be hard to hold out late. 

HIGHMIGHTY (4) took on a strong race last start at Albion Park and was well beaten but appears to drop in grade into this race. She draws awkwardly and may need to work at some stage in the run. 

ELKA ANGEL (8) is chasing a hat-trick of wins in this race having led and won her two latest races. She hasn’t drawn quite as well this time and will need to overcome a back row draw to win this time.

SUGGESTED BET: QILIN (1) to win. 

RACE 6 

PATORI (3) ran well on debut last time out when finishing second hitting the line strongly late. She draws the best of what appear to be the main chances in the race and may be able to press onto the lead and be very hard to run down. 

SOCIAL OUTING (8) trialled up well chasing hard to finish a close up second to All Eyes On Bling. He is likely to have derived good benefit from that outing and looks ready to run a good race on debut. 

ZORBA DAN (7) led recently at Albion Park when beaten by Better One who sat without cover. He draws inside the back row which looks awkward and he will need luck at the right time to get into the clear. 

SWEET CHARMER (1) has had trouble with her gait at times on the smaller track and may not be able to fully utilise gate 1. If she can do things right this time she should be thereabouts from the draw.

RACE 7

SAYCHELLES (7) had the perfect run leaders back last time out and just couldn’t quite hold out Victree Atom who had the momentum up down the outside to score at this track. She should get an economical run in the early stages and should be finishing it off well. 

PLAYING FOR KEEPS (4) finished off strongly two starts ago to run third. Raced without luck last start when drawing wide getting back to last and running into traffic at a crucial stage. She should run well in this field. 

KINGSBURY (3) ran well finishing off strongly to run second three starts ago at Marburg behind Rainbow Gambler. He should be close enough in a small field and can run well again. 

TAURUS BROMAC (6) ran well three starts ago to finally break through for a win. He draws wide this time and may need to work at some stage to get into the race.
