Form Analysis: Redcliffe May 17

RACE 1 

FEARLESS DOLLY (4) has been racing well in maiden company at Marburg and appears to be closing in on a victory. She should be able to find a prominent position in this race from a reasonable draw and will run well from there.

KEAYANG LACEY (1) was well beaten last time out in a maiden by Wait What. This maiden looks moderate and they are unlikely to go as fast. She should have the pegs this time and can run better. 

BETTY WINKLE (3) has been well beaten in recent outings at Marburg. This race looks a touch easier and the small field may suit. 

SELECTIONS: FEARLESS DOLLY (4), KEAYANG LACEY (1), BETTY WINKLE (3)

SUGGESTED BET: FEARLESS DOLLY (4) to win.

RACE 2 

BLING THE NOISE (7) should be able to settle close enough in this race without doing any early work. He ran fourth last time out in a much stronger race taken out by Call It Bling last start which looks strong form for a race of this nature. 

LOUISE LUCK (6) was a winner two starts ago at Marburg before battling on well last time out after doing the work at Albion Park. This looks easier and she should be thereabouts despite the wide draw. 

SAYCHELLES (3) has been racing well and was able to finish powerfully last start into second behind Victree Atom who had momentum when running on down the outside. She should get a good run close to the speed and can be running on again. 

WECANONLYDREAM (4) was well beaten last time out behind Whykikamoocow at Albion Park. He had been racing much better prior to last start and should appreciate the slightly weaker company.

RACE 3

MAGIC NITRO (6) has been racing reasonably in recent outings including a reasonable fifth last time out behind Miss Hattie. She should find this race considerably easier than a few of her recent outings and should be hard to beat. 

CONVAIR HUSTLER (5) showed good gate speed last start before handing over and finishing seventh behind Jimmy Joyce. This race looks a touch easier than his latest outing.

OUTER CHANGE (3) showed enough speed to get a good run behind Royal Winkle and battled on just fairly there for fourth. This race is a lot easier than that latest outing and she should be able to press forward and race in a prominent position. 

SIGNOR JUJON (4) was forced to race without cover last start and faded out of it late. He may be better suited driven quietly and saved for one run this time.

RACE 4 

BLUE CHIP DANCE (3) ran well in a much stronger race last time out taken out by Louminate. He should find this easier and draws quite well in gate 3. He should be hard to beat. 

BAHAMAS MISS (7) has options being the only horse on the back row in this race. She has been racing much better than her numerical form would suggest. Her latest effort She did some early work in her latest outing and was battling away well until getting tired late over the 2040. 

LIGHT UP LOVEY (4) trialled up just fairly recently at Albion Park in a trial taken out by Rakasandy. She is likely to have derived benefit from her two trials and could be ready to run well on return in this race. 

NO FAMILY LIKEMINE (1) battled on reasonably last start in a race taken out by Whykikamoocow. She should find this considerably easier and draws ideally again. She has gate speed giving her options.

RACE 5

MY ULTIMATE RUDI (7) has been excellent in recent outings since returning from a spell. He comes into this race fourth up and should be nearing peak fitness. His latest outing he was running on well but just couldn’t quite pick up Jimmy Joyce in the concluding stages. 

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (1) generally runs his best races out in front and appears likely to find that position in this race. Four starts ago he was able to lead at this track and battled on well for second behind Rocknroll Da Gama. 

SAMMYS SECRET (8) returns from a spell in this race and appears quite well graded. At his best he’s a horse that loves to race up on speed and he appears likely to be close enough in the run in this race. 

ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (2) has poor numerical form but appears to be dropping back into a slightly easier race where she should be close enough to the speed. Her latest outing she was well beaten behind Major Generaljujon who has since won again.

SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE RUDI (7) to win. 

RACE 6 

RACING TIME (4) ran a very good race last time out when finishing fourth behind Eye See Theseaside which looks a strong form reference for a race of this nature. He is a horse that has shown he can do work in his races if he needs to and can run well. 

AQUA SANCTA (3) is a very capable sit sprinter and should be close to the speed from a good draw in this race. 

KYLOAN QUEEN (5) usually shows good gate speed and runs her best races out in front. She was forced to do plenty of work last time out and was well beaten as a result being sent back to trials following the race where she trialled up fairly.

DENVER COLORADO (1) comes into this race first up from a spell which appears a query but that factor is offset to some extent by the very good draw. He has good gate speed and has run good time at this track a number of times.

SUGGESTED BET: AQUA SANCTA (3) each way. 

RACE 7

ROLLONX (1) has excellent gate speed and should have options early. Last time he led he ran a close up second. His latest outing he was well driven to nab fourth at Albion Park behind Jimmy Joyce. 

DIAMOND DEANO (7) is generally a horse that goes much better on the rails and looks to find that preferred position in this race. He will be hoping Rollonx elects to hold the lead and if he does he should be hard to hold out late. 

DOOO DON’T THINK (5) secured the ideal run last time out behind the leader in Smirks Lika Boss. He will be hoping the speed is on early and can be running into it late. 

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (8) has been in good form and won a good race last start after securing a good run on the pegs.

SUGGESTED BET: DIAMOND DEANO (7) to win. 

RACE 8

THE TIGER ARMY (5) returned to form two starts ago leading and running a good second behind Nautie Galvinator. That effort followed a trial where he rated 1.55 at Redcliffe which is fast time for this type of grade. 

ONE LAST ROLL (8) continues to race very well despite his older age. He was an dominant winner two starts ago when breezing and just proving too good for them. He should run well again. 

MY ULTIMATE COSSIE (7) secured a reasonable run off the speed and was running on nicely into third behind Dual Cam and Vincent Time. He should get a similar run and will just need luck at the right time. 

BETTOR CHEER (2) hasn’t been racing at his best in recent outings. He put in a better run in a recent stand start trial and could bounce back.
