RACE 1

TOODALOU (3) put in a run that had to be seen to be believed last start. He was knocked over mid race and appeared to have lost all chances. He was able recover work back into the race and ended up running an excellent second. He looks a near certainty.

STAY DANCING (4) sat without cover last time out and battled on well enough in a race taken out by stablemate Ranger Ron. She looks set to do the work again in this race and may be running for the placings behind Toodalou.

MACMUFF (6) may get shuffled back a touch in this race from a somewhat awkward draw inside the back row following a horse unlikely to be fancied. If the gaps open up at the right time she appears to have solid place claims.

KEAYANG LACEY (7) comes into this race fourth up from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness. She is one of many that have claims for fourth and it is likely to come down to who gets the luck at the right time.

SELECTIONS: TOODALOU (3), STAY DANCING (4), MACMUFF (6), KEAYANG LACEY (7)

SUGGESTED BET: TOODALOU (3) to win.

RACE 2

LOUMINATE (3) was able to lead and score a dominant win over War Zone last time out at Albion Park. She looks the clear standout on class again in this race and can likely lead and prove very hard to beat again in this race.

VICTREE ATOM (6) was able to score running on best from back in the field two starts ago at Redcliffe. He was luckless last time out and ran on nicely from a long way back in the field at Albion Park in a race taken out by Whykikamoocow.

ALSROKSTAR (7) has seemingly bounced back to some of his better form in recent outings. He was able to lead two starts ago at Albion Park and proved a touch too good for Whykikamoocow. He faces a tough draw and will need luck.

BLUE CHIP DANCE (2) was able to find the front in a much weaker race last time out at Redcliffe taking them all the way and beating No Family Likemine. He looks to face a tougher task this time but does draw well and has claims for the minor money.

SELECTIONS: LOUMINATE (3), VICTREE ATOM (6), ALSROKSTAR (7), BLUE CHIP DANCE (2)

SUGGESTED BET: LOUMINATE (3) to win.

RACE 3

LOUISE LUCK (5) didn’t live up to her name last start when having very little luck in a race she was caught wide and held up in before flashing and just missing Bling The Noise late. She draws widest this time but can be driven assertively and should be hard to beat.

LANEYS LAST (9) was left without cover last time out at Marburg and was just run down by Louise Luck who she comes up against again in this race. She draws the back row this time which is likely to make things tougher this time but she is capable and should run well again.

WEE BONNIE (8) found the leaders back last time out at Albion Park and she was able to run a good third behind Call It Bling. She has run a number of good races at Marburg and despite the back row draw this time she can run well.

ITS A SPONGE DARL (7) was well beaten first up in a race taken out by Uncle Tony at Albion Park. She has since trialled reasonably and should find this race easier than her latest outing.

SELECTIONS: LOUISE LUCK (5), LANEYS LAST (9), WEE BONNIE (8), ITS A SPONGE DARL (7)

SUGGESTED BET: LOUISE LUCK (5) to win.

RACE 4

DUAL CAM (2) was able to lead last time out at Redcliffe and was able to prove a touch too good for So Many Moments in that race who has since run well. He should be able to find his way to the lead in this race and over a journey he races well at he should be very hard to run down.

B MAC C (6) looks to have drawn a touch awkwardly behind a horse likely to take cover in the early stages. He was shuffled back last time out in a race taken out by Scruffy where he hit the line reasonably late.

LULU LUCIFER (1) was well beaten last start in a heat of the trot rods after leading them up running fourth. She had been in good form prior to that having run two consecutive seconds at this track. She should secure a good run.

JEKAMIAS (5) ran well last start in a heat of the trot rods series when doing plenty of work in the run and just fading late into third. He draws poorly in this race and will likely be shuffled back relying on a genuine tempo to bring him into the race.

SELECTIONS: DUAL CAM (2), B MAC C (6), LULU LUCIFER (1), JEKAMIAS (5)

SUGGESTED BET: DUAL CAM (2) to win.

RACE 5

TEACHERS PET (4) raced off the pegs in a race taken out by Burns Bay last start at Albion Park. She drops considerably in grade into this race but does draw wide. She should be able to work find and race in a prominent position and should be hard to beat.

COPY WRITER (8) got a long way back last time out at this track and was running on strongly late into second behind Good Word That. She draws to get a similar run in this race and if the race is run to suit she should be running on late.

CONVAIR HUSTLER (1) has a good draw in this race and has been racing fairly. He was forced to race without cover last time out in a race taken out by Outer Change who had a soft run on the leaders back.

BETA THAN LOVE (5) has dropped right back in grade since landing in QLD and has recently changed trainers. She has poor numerical form but with a new trainer she may be a potential improver in this race.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (4), COPY WRITER (8), CONVAIR HUSTLER (1), BETA THAN LOVE (5)

SUGGESTED BET: TEACHERS PET (4) to win.

RACE 6

GIDUP CAPTAIN (8) ran a very good race last time out when sitting on the leaders back in a race taken out by Burns Bay at Albion Park. That appears to be strong form for a race of this nature and he looks hard to beat despite the back row draw.

SPORTY AZZ (7) was forced to race without cover last time out at Albion Park and battled on well there finishing second to Royal Winkle. He may be forced to do the work in this race again and will find this easier than his latest outing.

YOGI (9) starts outside the back row but does have class on his side in this race. He secured a good run close to the speed last time out and wasn’t beaten far by Specialandiknowit at this track.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (2) is a gate speed horse that should be able to find a forward position in this race. He was able to lead for a long way last time out when just being picked up by My Ultimate Rudi in the concluding stages. He can look to go one better in this race.

SELECTIONS: GIDUP CAPTAIN (8), SPORTY AZZ (7), YOGI (9), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (2)

SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (2) to win.

RACE 7

SHADYS DELIGHT (1) got back in the run last time out and ran on strongly to get into second at Redcliffe. His latest win came when leading at this track and proving a touch too good for Vodka En Ice and American Boulevard who he comes up against again in this race.

ROSEANNE RUBY (6) showed brilliant gate speed to zip across and lead a heat of the trot rods last time out when just being run down late by Goodtime Cracker. She should get a more economical run this time on the back of a horse likely to be keen to hold a forward position in Shadys Delight.

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (7) showed gate speed before handing over to Ascot Showtime and just got a touch tired in the concluding stages to miss third. He should find this company a lot more suitable and will appreciate stepping back in trip to the 1850.

AMERICAN BOULEVARD (4) was shuffled back last start and couldn’t get into the race at Albion Park over 2138 taken out by Uncut Gem. He should find this easier and can run well.

SELECTIONS: SHADYS DELIGHT (1), ROSEANNE RUBY (6), SAINT LOUIS BEAT (7), AMERICAN BOULEVARD (4)

SUGGESTED BET: ROSEANNE RUBY (6) each way.

RACE 8

ROLLING BONUS (1) should have the gate speed to lead this race in the early stages. He ran a very good race last time out when making a wide run into it and running third behind Mitchells Run at Albion Park. This looks a touch easier.

TAYLORS FOUR (6) ran well two starts ago when sitting without cover and battling on well to finish fourth behind Majorgeneral Jujon. She comes into this race third from a spell and should be getting nearer peak fitness.

HES REGAL (8) secured a good run on the pegs recent over the 2138 at Albion Park and finished off strongly into second behind Ascot Showtime. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and can be running on late.

MYSTICALFANTASY (2) scored an impressive win two starts ago when running over the top late at Albion Park. She draws well in this race and should be able to secure a similar run.

SELECTIONS: ROLLING BONUS (1), TAYLORS FOUR (6), HES REGAL (8), MYSTICALFANTASY (2)

SUGGESTED BET: ROLLING BONUS (1) to win.
