Form Analysis: Albion Park June 6

6 June 2026

RACE ONE

Following three runs back from a spell, BIRKIRKARA (5) looks ready to cash in. Buried last start from inside the second line as ELLIS STREET controlled from the front, he closed out in good style for the bronze. Forced to park the start prior, he can get on the board for 2026 in this.

 OZZIE PUNTA (9)
was building towards victory after finishing as the runner-up in four successive appearances from a mix of barriers. Not far away in each and beaten by MANILA PLAYBOY and ELLIS STREET in three of those, he darted through last start to score and can throw it down here.

 WHOS DELIGHT (3)
burrowed through to hold the front here three starts back and led until deep stretch before being collared by OZZIE PUTNA. Chasing FERNCO NEL last start, he has claims.

 CALL TO ORDER (2)
found THE JANITOR too classy last week when forced to step into FFA company. Beaten by tempo the start prior, he can settle handy here to chime in.

SELECTIONS: BIRKIRKARA (5), OZZIE PUNTA (9), WHOS DELIGHT (3), CALL TO ORDER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: BIRKIRKARA (5) to win

RACE TWO

Faced with a second line gate here last start in his first appearance back in Qld, SWEET ON LEXY (5) circled them to take control. Putting the opposition to the sword in a dominant last 800, he pulled clear to score by 17m and has gate advantage over the main dangers to capitalise.

 PATH TO GREATNESS (7)
resuming from a spell back in February with an unplaced effort from the second line, he quickly put together a hat-trick of wins. The latest was a strong effort when forcing the issue to take control and fend them off. Fresh up here, the gate stings.

 MEGS BOY (10)
is white hot at present with five successive victories, the latest when buried from an inside second line gate but showing the speed to arrive. He can be chiming in late.

 CHARGE AHEAD (1)
will be looking to protect inside running in the early stages. Not overly quick off the arm, he can find the right trail to make a podium play.

SELECTIONS:
SWEET ON LEXY (5), PATH TO GREATNESS (7), MEGS BOY (10), CHARGE AHEAD (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
SWEET ON LEXY (5) to win

RACE THREE

Resuming from a spell in a standing start event over 2138, JUNGLE DRAGON (4) was safely into stride and worked forward to set the tempo. Posting a sub 27 third split trying to break it open, it was only the smart FINAL DEADLINE that got past. With added fitness, he can go one better.

 WELEASE WODDEWICK (5)
is chasing a hat-trick of victories following wins at Redcliffe over 947 and then here over 2138 last time out. Pressing to the front from gate 3 to set the tempo, he pulled clear to post a 10m margin and while he may need to roll the sleeves, he can challenge.

 FLYING COLOURS (1)
has been runner-up in his past two appearances, the latest when setting the speed at 2138 but unable to fend off JUSTA DRAGON. The gate assists his podium hopes.

 JUSTA DRAGON (9)
sat in the trail last start from inside the second line and when the gap presented, had the speed to arrive up the passing lane. With the right trip, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: JUNGLE DRAGON (5), WELEASE WODDEWICK (5), FLYING COLOURS (1), JUSTA DRAGON (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:
JUNGLE DRAGON (5) to win

RACE FOUR

The home campaign building towards a defence of his Inter Dominion crown begins for LEAP TO FAME (7). Mesmerising fans with a monstrous performance in The Race at Cambridge last time out, he opened the pipes in a recent trial in a sizzling 1.49.8. Enjoy the show.

 ATTACHMENT (6)
has graduated to FFA company this campaign and shown he belongs in the open ranks with a sub-50 win and two placings since making the transition. Best of the chasers last week when runner-up behind THE JANITOR, the gate stings, but the progression continues.

 DARIN (1)
can look to make the most of the barrier advantage at play here with the right trip on the inside. Not that far away after facing the outside second line last start, he is a podium hope.

 WISPER A SECRET (3)
had a mixed season in 2025 and returns from a spell here after finishing down the line in the season ending Blacks A Fake. With two trials in readiness, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: LEAP TO FAME (7), ATTACHMENT (6), DARIN (1), WISPER A SECRET (3)
 SUGGESTED BET:
7 / 1-3-6 / 1-3-5-6

RACE FIVE

I GOT CHILLS (2) started from gate 1 in a similar contest at 2138 five back where he took control but was swamped in the closing strides to go under by a head to finish 3rd. Nothing has been in his favour at his past four starts and with the gate and back to the mile, he gets every chance.

 IM BOO (4)
had not been far away in two starts, beaten 6m behind BRAVENTHREACHEROUS and then 2m behind HAPY AS CAB BE. Able to find the front at Redcliffe last start, he made the most of his preferred racing pattern from the front to score. He will throw it down again.

 DRAGON (9)
was asked to sit parked last time out and despite the tough trip was still fighting, just missing the minor money behind PUNTERS JEWEL. Trailing through here will be a help.

 JUST A COOL DUDE (3)
was a Redcliffe winner three starts back when darting through on the passing lane to be under 3m from the winner. Runner-up in both since, he can feature again.

SELECTIONS: I GOT CHILLS (2), IM BOO (4), DRAGON (9), JUST A COOL DUDE (3)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Runner-up at his past four in succession, the marble falls for MY ULTIMATE FLYNN (1) to deliver a deserved breakthrough. 4m away last start after being exposed through the early stages of this trip, the start prior he was an eyelash behind the flying MEGS BOY. This looks ideal.

 BETTERTHAN POPSY (8)
started from this gate here on Tuesday where he was soon shuffled back and needing some luck. Missing the minor money as OUR VINCENT CAN GOGH arrived, he will secure the right trail here to issue a closing challenge when the gap opens.

 OUR VINCENT CAN GOGH (4)
found the running line from gate 6 here on Tuesday and when set free had the closing speed to arrive for a PB with 6m to spare. He can feature again here.

 FIRE RAISER (6)
was chasing a hat-trick when faced with gate 7 last time out. Eased off the gate and chasing inside runs and luck, he faces another tough gate for this contest.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE FLYNN (1), BETTERTHAN POPSY (8), OUR VINCENT CAN GOGH (4), FIRE RAISER (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
Exotics 1-4-6-8

RACE SEVEN

A winner in three of five since arriving in Qld, SALLY BIGTIME (2) was large and in charge here last start from gate 3. Taking control, it was a power running performance to take a 5m margin in PB time and take some big scalps in RUBY RULES and FATE AWAITS. Back to mares only is an added bonus.

 TREMENDOUS SENSATION (1)
found the right set up here three starts back and descended off the speed to claim victory. Not suited at her next start when asked to park outside LUX AETERNA, gate 7 was her undoing last time. The gate and map can see her challenge in this.

 GOLDEN FIRE (7)
is afforded no favours off this gate as she returns from a spell. Last seen with an effortless victory at Redcliffe back in November, she will derive benefit from achievements here.

 TOUGH SHAZ (8)
has not had much go her way since arriving in Qld and last time was forced to chase off the second line in a race controlled from the front. Following short cuts, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SALLY BIGTIME (2), TREMENDOUS SENSATION (1), GOLDEN FIRE (7), TOUGH SHAZ (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
SALLY BIGTIME (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

First up for the new barn last time out, LUVARESCHS (2) was beaten by gate 7 when forced to retreat before making some late metres in finishing midfield. With a return to her own sex and from the improved gate, this looks well within her reach.

 MIKI MOO (6)
faced a second line gate last time out, finding the 1x1 trail but chasing in vain as TILLY DUNNAGE put on a power running clinic from the front. Hitting the line strongly after being buried form inside the second line the start prior, despite the wide gate she can challenge here.

 HARPERVILLE (8)
held the pocket trail from this gate last start and when the gap presented, had the speed to dart through and take a narrow margin. Likely locked away, she will be probing.
 SWEET DIOR (9)
powered up from the second line over 2138 last time out and took control with one mile to travel. Out of tickets but holding on for bronze as RUBY RULES pulled clear, she has podium claims again here.

SELECTIONS: LUVARESCHS (2), MIKI MOO (6), HARPERVILLE (8), SWEET DIOR (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:
LUVARESCHS (2) to win

RACE NINE

Freshened since her last start victory and fifth of the season, SASSY GALLEON (3) is on the upward trajectory towards The Great Square. Scoring at the mobile mile via the passing lane last start, her win three back at 2138 was strong and from the front tape, can look to capitalise.

 GOLDEN SUNSET (7)
started from gate 6 over the mobile mile last start and after the tough trip faded as IKIGAI proved too slick. Placed her previous three in succession including a 3rd to AJAY VOLSTEAD three back, 30m seems a tough ask for a mare that has not won in 12 starts in 2026.

 ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (5)
was full of trot in scoring a dominant win at the mobile 2138 to smash the track record. An error as a long odds-on fav last start ended his chances. He can bounce back.

 KODA DA MODA (2)
finished best along the passing lane two starts back after facing a 30m tape in a midweek contest. Runner-up to IKIGAI last time out, she can settle handy to chase a minor.

SELECTIONS: SASSY GALLEON (3), GOLDEN SUNSET (7), ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (5), KODA DA MODA (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
SASSY GALLEON (3) to win

RACE TEN

GOLDEN SHOOZ (8) was struck by a veterinary issue last start and faced a stand down. Earning the return with a sharp trial, she has only had three starts since arriving in Qld where not much has gone right. Replicating the trial effort in this line up will see her right in the fight.

 PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (4)
has been top two at her past six in succession, which includes four victories. Pressing on last start at 2138 before taking cover, it was a smart 2nd behind the talented RUBY RULES. A winner in successive starts prior to the 2nd, she can challenge.

 NEEDBEE (3)
was runner-up in her first Qld outing when just a head from the in-form OAKLEY SHARD, Midfield at her next two, finding a position near the speed can see her feature.

 SHES IN LINE (1)
showed the speed to take control in a mid-week event here last time out and from the front held them off. This is a tougher assignment, but the options from the gate help.

SELECTIONS: GOLDEN SHOOZ (8), PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (4), NEEDBEE (3), SHES IN LINE (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
