RACE ONE

A five runner 2YO maiden to open the card. TACTIQUE (4) is still chasing a first win and finds her chance here with three first starters drawn to her inside. Runner-up in the Breeders Classic last time out behind SHINE LIKE ME. This looks like her chance to get on the board.

 JEWEL REASON (5)
has placed in three of six to date, the latest when holding the bronze in the Breeders after starting from gate 2. Beaten the same distance behind SHINE LIKE ME In her past two starts, three back she was runner-up to the smart AARDIES A STAR. She can throw it down.

 GENUINE STAR (2)
and her stable mate FAN THE FLAME (3) are both impeccably bred fillies by Art Major and Bettor Delight respectively, while WANNABE ME (1) showed good speed in a recent trial.

SELECTIONS: TACTIQUE (4), JEWEL REASON (5), GENUINE STAR (2), WANNABE ME (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

With an eye-catching effort when resuming from a spell, FREDIDRIVSAMERCURY (2) franked the performance when scoring a smart win second up at the mobile 2138. Defeating SOUTHERN DIAMOND which has multiple wins subsequent, he can look to cash in fresh up.

 OUR PETABILT (3)
faced a 20m tape last time out and an error soon after the start made it a tough ask thereafter. Chasing home to be 6m from the winner IGNITE two starts back, the 20m in this line up will help and a safe start will be the key to her challenging chances.

 WHIRLWIND WILBUR (12)
will appreciate a return to this grade but does get served up the 50m impost as a result. Ending his chances with a poor start two runs back, he can chime in here.

 ASPIRING VICTREE (9)
will take further benefit from her latest putting when second up from a spell. Chasing home to just miss the money behind DHONI TROUBLE, the 40m stings.

SELECTIONS:
FREDIDRIVSAMERCURY (2), OUR PETABILT (3), WHIRLWIND WILBUR (12), ASPIRING VICTREE (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:
FREDIDRIVSAMERCURY (2) to win

RACE THREE

Putting it together and finding trot and rhythm in her past two starts, IKIGAI (7) has been able to score a pair of impressive victories in strong time, both at the mobile mile. Her effort for 3rd in a 2138 track record performance three starts back was enormous and she can claim a threepeat.

 NELLIE JOY (4)
stepped up to Saturday night company last time out and was not too far from the winner AJAY VOLSTEAD. Only 4m from the winner two starts back and closing out in good order, a repeat of her win here three starts back from 10m puts her right in contention.

 NORTHERN HEIGHTS (6)
made an error two starts back from behind the tapes to end his hopes and then last start was eased for position when finishing at the rear. He still has podium claims.

 MAJESTIC LAVROS (5)
found the 1x1 trail last time out and chased home to finish 4th as IKIGAI proved too strong. Up to this at his best, positioning cheaply will be the key to his hopes.

SELECTIONS: IKIGAI (7), NELLIE JOY (4), NORTHERN HEIGHTS (6), MAJESTIC LAVROS (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
IKIGAI (7) to win

RACE FOUR

With good speed off the arm when required, this looks the chance for MAN OF ACTION (2) to fire and out and dictate. Drawn inside the second line in three of his past four, he has been buried and unable to get into the contest. The improved gate can be the catalyst for victory.

 CANDYKANE (9)
will take further benefit from her latest appearance when second up from a spell. Settling in the running line from this same gate, she tried to make a closing play when holding 2nd behind AUNTY FRANCES. Trailing through early can see her challenge.

 WESTERN ACTION (1)
eased from gate 6 here last time out and was making late metres to just miss the minor money. Stalking the speed here can see him feature.

 BLUE BLOODZ (8)
was exposed in the early stages last time before cover arrived and from the 1x1 trail held on for the bronze behind AUNTY FRANCES. With a fence trip he can place again.

SELECTIONS: MAN OF ACTION (2), CANDYKANE (9), WESTERN ACTION (1), BLUE BLOODZ (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
Exotics 1-2-8-9

RACE FIVE

The mapping favours will assist the winning claims of WARRAWEE FLYER (1) which has been racing in good touch over the past two months. A winner three starts back at the mile when dictating from the front, she was closing hard last start when under 2m from the winner. The middle trip is the question that will need to be answered.

 LUKA DONCIC (12)
will need to overcome the tough gate second up here, but the first up effort suggests he will not be far off winning in this grade. Locked away from inside the second line, he made a late rally to be within 3m of the winner. Tempo will assist his chances of defying gate 12.

 BETTOR CHEER (9)
has hit the board at his past four in succession, the latest at the mile when working home wide out as PRINCESS ARNA dictated. He can be chiming in again here.

 BURNS BAY (10)
was a winner at the mile three starts back when firing off the arm and dictating. Grabbing the bronze at this trip at his next start, a cart into the contest will assist his claims.

 BEROCCA BERNIE (10)
impressed in his first appearance here at The Creek when overcoming gate 6 at 2138 to score a dominant 11m margin with a solid last 1200. Chasing from back in the pack against the tempo and only 4m from the winner MAGIC MIKI last start, he is the threat.

 AMYLEE (3)
claimed the Breeders 3YO Fillies Consolation last start in a race where she had a clear class edge on her rivals and delivered a 1.53.1 PB. This will be tougher, but the gate helps.

started from the second line in the 3YO C&G Consolation last time out and grabbed the bronze behind TIMMYTEO. Despite a tricky gate, he has podium claims.

FITZROY (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

A winner from the second line two starts back, he has had three trials in readiness for the return, the latest impressive effort on this deck. It will be a big question; can he answer it first up?

 UNCLE TONY (7)
started from gate 5 here last week and was sent out deep into the red over 2138. Pressing on to the front, he was unable to fend off the closing raid of STORMTIDE in a sub 27 close out. Despite the wide gate, a return to the mile will be in his favour.

 MAHINDI (4)
completed a hat-trick of Redcliffe wins with a slick 1780 from the front last start. Overcoming the outside second line the start prior, she will look to bring it to the big deck.

will require some luck at some stage from this gate as she looks at risk of being buried. Runner-up at her past three in succession, she will be searching for openings.

 SUGGESTED BET:
OHOKA DREAM (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

A winner over this trip three starts back, THE LADY DIOR (2) eased from a wide gate before owning superior closing speed to descend on them for victory. Not suited when parked out at her next start, she ran RAKASANDY to 2m last time up the passing lane. This is within reach.

 KICK THE SWITCH (10)
will be first up from a spell for the firing Hewitt stable. Grabbing 3rd behind his smart stablemate YOTTIE in a recent trial here, the gate makes it hard but in a race that should generate some front line tempo, he can trail through early to challenge late.

 HOT ROD HARRY (3)
forced the issue over the mile last time out and tried to fend off the challengers, only to be reeled in by SCRUFFY. Beaten by gate 11 the start prior, he has claims.

gives plenty of experience to his rivals for this contest. Runner-up to PASSCHENDAELE at his first outing on this deck, he struck trouble last start.

 OUR SUNSET DELIGHT (7)
was sent around to sit parked here three starts back and was fighting to the wire when just 1m from the winner SEND IT. Striking trouble when the tapes released at his next appearance, he finds the right standing start assignment to challenge.

 GREASED LIGHTNIN (5)
is a newcomer to Qld joining the Darrel Graham barn and arrives with impressive NZ credentials. A last start winner that has trialed on good order, he stays under notice.

 MANILA PLAYBOY (9)
has been hitting good areas since returning from a spell but faces a task here from the 30m back tape. Chasing home for 3rd behind THE JANITOR last start, he can join in.

SELECTIONS: GEM PUNTER PETE (3), OUR SUNSET DELIGHT (7), GREASED LIGHTNIN (5), MANILA PLAYBOY (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:
GEM PUNTER PETE (3) to win
