RACE 1

SWEET AGENDA (7) burned hard to lead last timeout and got across before taking a trail. She was still running on well at the finish despite working hard early. She lands in the stable of Donny Smith for this race and should be hard to hold out.

HES SWEET (1) has good gate speed and should be able to hold a prominent position from the inside draw. He led last start and was forced to run along in a high pressure race which was taken out by Rocksngems. He should get a slightly easier lead this time.

MARDIBRINGSAPARTY (8) was a winner four starts ago when getting back in the run before finishing off strongly late over the top. She looks very well suited by her soft trailing draw in this race and should be running on strongly again.

BLUE SUEDE ROCKA (5) worked hard early last start and couldn’t get across in a race taken out by Lochinvar Comaro in which he was still able to battle on for a very good third. He draws wide this time and may need to work or have the race run to suit.

SELECTIONS: SWEET AGENDA (7), HES SWEET (1), MARDIBRINGSAPARTY (8), BLUE SUEDE ROCKA (5)

SUGGESTED BET: SWEET AGENDA (7) to win.

RACE 2

ROCK HAMMER (2) had almost a month between runs last time out and is likely to have derived benefit from the outing. He is usually a horse that does his best work when able to find a prominent position up on speed and should be hard to beat in this race.

RACE FOR RICHES (10) took on a stronger race last time out which was taken out by Justa Dreagon. He did some work in the early stages and battled on well enough. He should be suited by the drop in class and looks hard to beat.

QUIK CHANGE (9) returned to form last time out when securing a good run leaders back before sprinting away late to score a nice win. He draws well favourably in this race but does appear to find a slightly weaker race. He should be hard to beat again.

OUR LUCY LOU (1) couldn’t get into the race last time out after drawing poorly outside the back row. She has a good draw this time and should be able to do no work settling just behind the speed. Should be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: ROCK HAMMER (2), RACE FOR RICHES (10), QUIK CHANGE (9), OUR LUCY LOU (1)

SUGGESTED BET: ROCK HAMMER (2) to win.

RACE 3

REASON TO PARTY (9) secured the ideal run 1 out 1 back two starts ago and was able to finish best to beat Bolzano. He was then suited last start when sitting off the speed in a race that produced a genuine tempo when running on late into third behind Mahindi.

SO MANY MOMENTS (5) ran on strongly in a recent race over the track and distance behind Kerbang which looks good form for a race of this nature. She isn’t blessed with gate speed so may be shuffled back early and can look to run on late.

TAKE OUT (6) scored a good win two starts ago when having his first run in the state of QLD. He was shuffled a long way back early and ran on strongly over the top at the end of 2040. He ran well again last start battling away late for a midfield finish in a strong race.

LENNY LINCOLN (1) has enough gate speed to drive through and lead in the early stages. He probably isn’t going quite at his absolute best at the moment having led four starts ago over the 1780 when well beaten by Real Tin Tin albeit in fast time for the grade.

SELECTIONS: REASON TO PARTY (9), SO MANY MOMENTS (5), TAKE OUT (6), LENNY LINCOLN (1)

SUGGESTED BET: REASON TO PARTY (9) to win.

RACE 4

BRYNESIDE BOOM (9) lands in the powerful stable of Donny Smith having recently done his racing in Victoria. He appears to bring quite strong form into a race of this nature and should be very hard to beat first up.

BOLZANO (4) secured a good run two starts ago behind the leader when sprinting well late and finishing second. He then drew poorly last start at Albion Park and appeared to be travelling nicely but had nowhere to go and went to the line full of running. If he can get into the clear this time he should run well again.

BARLOR HEAVEN (6) was seemingly a touch disappointing last time out when missing the placings after starting a heavily supported short priced favourite. He worked into it three wide and loomed before fading late into fourth. He can bounce back.

REAL TIN TIN (5) scored an impressive win when sitting without cover at this track and rating fast time. He wasn’t quite at his best last time out when fading late in a race won by Im Boo. He can bounce back with a softer run this time.

SELECTIONS: BRYNESIDE BOOM (9), BOLZANO (4), BARLOR HEAVEN (6), REAL TIN TIN (5)

SUGGESTED BET: BOLZANO (4) to place.

RACE 5

FAVREAU (3) was a winner when getting back and running on strongly to score. He ran well three starts ago when finishing second after doing the work in the race. If he can work his way to the lead in this race he should be very hard to beat.

GRIGORA (4) should get a good run off the speed in this race and looks very well graded in this company. Two starts ago he secured a good run and ran on strongly late into second behind Smirks Lika Boss.

PLANET DOWNS (5) has been in excellent form in recent outings. He secured a good run two starts ago and was able to score a well deserved win when proving too good for Leota at Albion Park. This looks easier and he should be thereabouts again despite the wide draw.

MISTER DELWIN (7) was able to sneak in leaders back recently at this track when using the sprint lane late to prove too good for Erasmus. He should secure a good run again in this race and if the gaps appear at the right time he can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: FAVREAU (3), GRIGORA (4), PLANET DOWNS (5), MISTER DELWIN (7)

SUGGESTED BET: FAVREAU (3) to win.

RACE 6

ERASMUS (5) was crossed in the early stages last time out and had very little luck after that when shuffled back in the run before going to the line travelling well late. He should be able to work forward and find a prominent position in this race. If he could find the lead he would be very hard to beat.

CONNIES SPIRIT (4) was shuffled a long way back last start from a wide gate and was running into it well late. She has excellent gate speed and should be able to work forward and find the front before having options from there.

THREE MACHS (8) usually does her best work when able to get a good run off the speed. She ran well for third after securing a good run close to the speed last start in a race taken out by Playful Miss.

DOOO DON’T THINK (9) worked hard recently in his races and has battled on well late. He gets the opportunity to do no work in this race off the speed and should be well suited if there’s a genuine early tempo.

SELECTIONS: ERASMUS (5), CONNIES SPIRIT (4), THREE MACHS (8), DOOO DON’T THINK (9)

SUGGESTED BET: CONNIES SPIRIT (4) to win.

RACE 7

SHANKYS SHOT (9) has been very impressive landing in QLD having not missed a top 3 finish in all 5 starts. He was forced to work last time outside of Magic Miki and battled away well for third. He should be winning and can win by as far as he likes here.

JOHEMIAN (1) sat without cover last time out and was able to prove too good for Keayang Kauna. He can lead this time before having options from there and should run well.

MISTER FREEMAN (2) draws favourable in this race to get a run close enough to the speed. He ran on nicely last time out from back in the race behind Our Sweet Jess. He won’t be beating Shankys Shot but has strong place claims.

NEED NOT TO WARRY (7) should get a good run through behind a gate speed horse that’s likely to be keen to hold a forward position. He has place claims.

SELECTIONS: SHANKYS SHOT (9), JOHEMIAN (1), MISTER FREEMAN (2), NEED NOT TO WARRY (7)

SUGGESTED BET: JOHEMIAN (1) to place.

RACE 8

ONLY ONE REASON (3) ran a good race two starts ago in a race taken out by Mighty Crunch. He has good gate speed and should be able to work to the lead and should run well from there.

LOWER WEST SIDE (5) showed very good gate speed last start to find the top before sitting on the back of Roman Charlie and running third to him. He may be shuffled back early and can be running on late.

ROCK YOUR SOCKS (2) has brilliant gate speed which saw her cross from the widest draw last start before finishing tailed off in a strong race. She should find this a lot easier and may benefit from a more economical run in the early stages of the race.

OUR ANGELS ENVY (1) trialled just fairly at Albion Park recently when having her first run for new trainer Ricky Thurlow. She may have derived benefit from the outing and has the right draw.

SELECTIONS: ONLY ONE REASON (3), LOWER WEST SIDE (5), ROCK YOUR SOCKS (2), OUR ANGELS ENVY (1)

SUGGESTED BET: ONLY ONE REASON (3) to win.

RACE 9

BITE THE EAR MIKE (2) took on a very strong race last time out taken out by Magic Miki who rated 1.51. He was beaten just 10 metres there and ran a fast mile rate himself in defeat. This looks a lot easier and he should be very hard to beat.

MAJOR ORION (4) raced on the pegs last time out at Albion Park in a quickly run race and was well beaten finishing last. He should find this a lot easier than that latest outing and can bounce back.

IDEAL PURSUIT (3) was well beaten last time out after starting outside the back row in a race won by Roman Charlie. He was first up there and is likely to have derived benefit from the outing.

MACK ATTACK (8) should get a good run just off the speed in this race from a soft trailing draw. He got back in a slowly run race last time out and struggled to get into the race out wide on the track.

SELECTIONS: BITE THE EAR MIKE (2), MAJOR ORION (4), IDEAL PURSUIT (3), MACK ATTACK (8)

SUGGESTED BET: BITE THE EAR MIKE (2) to win.

RACE 10

MAJOR CIARA (2) was shuffled back in a strong race last time out in a race won by Shine Like Me where she ran through the line well enough. She draws to the advantage of her main rivals in this race and if she could find the lead she would be hard to beat.

AWHOLELOTTAHAPPY (8) got shuffled back last start and was just beginning to work through her gears when hitting the line late. She should get a good run through and can be running on late in this race.

APPLAUSE PLEASE (7) trialled just moderately when well beaten by Ohoka Dream in a recent trial at Albion Park. They ran home a quick last half in the trial and he held his ground with the main beaten bunch.

DISEMBARK (3) was shuffled back last start and worked through the line fairly to finish sixth behind Stunning Stranger. Should be better for the run and this looks a touch easier.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR CIARA (2), AWHOLELOTTAHAPPY (8), APPLAUSE PLEASE (7), DISEMBARK (3)

SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR CIARA (2) to win.
