RACE 1

LITTLE SURFER GIRL (3) was crossed in the early stages of the race last time out by a quick beginner in Bettys Gold Class. If she was able to show a touch more early speed and work her way to the front she would likely be hard to run down in this company.

VINNIE NITRO (2) may look to work across to the lead before sitting on something suitable. She was able to secure the right run last time out before finishing powerfully up the sprint lane to score beating Eternal Bliss.

ULTIMATE ARK (9) was shuffled back early last time out at Albion Park in a race taken out by Princess Arna where he ran through the line well. He looks suited stepping back to racing at Redcliffe and would be suited by a genuine early tempo.

ROCK HAMMER (6) was forced to race without cover last time out in a race taken out by Our Lucy Lou. He may be forced to do the work again but looks suited by the shorter journey and weaker field.

SELECTIONS: LITTLE SURFER GIRL (3), VINNIE NITRO (2), ULTIMATE ARK (9), ROCK HAMMER (6)

SUGGESTED BET: ULTIMATE ARK (9) each way.

RACE 2

JACCKA COOPER (3) was able to work in behind the leader last time out and proved too good there sprinting nicely to score at Albion Park. He has the early speed to find a prominent position again and having recaptured some of his better form he should be hard to beat again.

TURBO TOMMY (1) has the good draw in this race and moderate gate speed. He has been driven conservatively for the most part since landing back in QLD and may look to take a sit on one of the leading chances in this race.

JOHN WAYNE (5) did things wrong early last time out in a strong race at this track before running through the line strongly. He draws wide this time and may be forced to work or shuffled a long way back.

BARLOR HEAVEN (9) made a break last time out after being badly checked last time out. He did well to finish as close as he did having had so much go wrong in the run. He should be running on strongly late.

SELECTIONS: JACCKA COOPER (3), TURBO TOMMY (1), JOHN WAYNE (5), BARLOR HEAVEN (9)

SUGGESTED BET: JACCKA COOPER (3) to win.

RACE 3

TULHURST PEBBLES (2) got shuffled back early from a wide gate at Albion Park before weaving through the middle of them late finishing it off well into fourth. He should settle closer this time from a good draw and can run well.

MISTER DELWIN (7) should get a good run through behind the potential leader early in this race. He was able to win recently at this track with a similar run when able to jump onto the back of Erasmus early before running him down late.

DIEGO DELGADO (1) was shuffled back early last time out and hit the line strongly late at this track in a race that wasn’t run to suit. He is a horse that has run plenty of good races out in front and may look to do that again in this race.

SNIP OF BEAUTY (5) led last start and was able to battle on well there for third behind Bolzano. She is known best for her sit sprint capacity and may be better suited sat up and saved for one run late.

SELECTIONS: TULHURST PEBBLES (2), MISTER DELWIN (7), DIEGO DELGADO (1), SNIP OF BEAUTY (5)

SUGGESTED BET: MISTER DELWIN (7) each way.

RACE 4

MISTER FREEMAN (1) worked hard in the early stages and through the middle of the race before just fading late into fifth in a race taken out by Shankys Shot. He has gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead this time. He should be hard to run down.

VICTREE ATOM (7) secured a good run last time out in a race taken out by Shankys Shot and ran into third late. He should get a good run through again on the back of Mister Freeman and will be dangerous late if the race is run to suit.

LAST FLITE (8) has been leading in recent outings in NSW and running well but just coming up short finishing second her latest two outings. She should get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse and should be running on late.

BAM BAM BROOK (2) was forced to do all the work outside the leader last time out and battled on strongly to finish close up second behind Our Sweet Jess. He may be forced to do the work again and looks capable of fighting out the finish again.

SELECTIONS: MISTER FREEMAN (1), VICTREE ATOM (7), LAST FLITE (8), BAM BAM BROOK (2)

SUGGESTED BET: MISTER FREEMAN (1) to win.

RACE 5

MAJOR ORION (8) ran well behind Bite The Ear Mike last time out at this track running second after being forced to race without cover. He has options from a good trailing draw and can be put into the race.

PICCOLO DIAVOLO (6) got back in the run last time out and was running on nicely behind Bite The Ear Mike at this track. He draws widest this time which looks awkward and may see him shuffled back or forced to work.

ONLY ONE REASON (9) loomed into the race strongly last time out before making a break at a crucial stage and losing all momentum. He draws fairly on the back row this time and should be running on late again.

DIGBY DEVIL (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race. He hit the line strongly late last time out in a race taken out by Lower West Side hich was slowly run and became a dash home.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR ORION (8), PICCOLO DIAVOLO (6), ONLY ONE REASON (9), DIGBY DEVIL (7)

SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR ORION (8) to win.

RACE 6

ERASMUS (1) has good gate speed and should be able to hold the lead from a good draw. He raced without luck last time out when doing plenty of work in the run and getting tired late. He can bounce back.

BETTINGONYA (8) took on a strong restricted wins race last time out and was well beaten there. This looks a lot easier and he should get a great run through in the early stages of the race.

DOOO DON’T THINK (7) should get a good run through behind a horse that is likely to be keen to hold a forward position in this race. He loomed up strongly last time out and just wasn’t quite able to reel in the winner. He should run well again.

ILLBEWATCHING (2) was able to work across and lead before tiring late. He seems best suited when not used off the gate in the early stages at this point in his career and can run a more competitive race with a more economical run early this time.

SELECTIONS: ERASMUS (1), BETTINGONYA (8), DOOO DON’T THINK (7), ILLBEWATCHING (2)

SUGGESTED BET: ERASMUS (1) to win.

RACE 7

STORMY MIDNIGHT (2) got back from a wide draw on debut last time out and ran through the line well late in a race dominated by horses up on speed. He is likely to have derived good benefit from that outing and should run well in this race.

FREE DELIVERY (1) was able to hold the lead last time out at this track before being run down late by Patori when finishing second. He finds a very similar race here and should be able to lead again and be hard to run down.

AWHOLELOTTAHAPPY (7) loomed into the race strongly last time out and just didn’t quite finish it off there when missing the placings. She is likely to have derived benefit from that latest outing and should get a great run in this race.

DISEMBARK (8) sat without cover last time out battling away nicely for third behind Patori. He should be able to find a position close to the speed in this race with cover and will be running on late.

SELECTIONS: STORMY MIDNIGHT (2), FREE DELIVERY (1), AWHOLELOTTAHAPPY (7), DISEMBARK (8)

SUGGESTED BET: AWHOLELOTTAHAPPY (7) each way.
