RACE 1

JACCKA COOPER (10) worked to the lead last time out and was able to prove too good for Barlor Heaven at this track. He finds a similar quality of race but does draw outside the back row this time. He should be running on late.

PRECOCIOUS KATE (2) worked to the breeze last start and battled away fairly there over the 1660 at Albion Park. She steps up in trip which doesn’t look completely ideal on paper but is racing well enough to suggest she can run a good race out in front if she gets things her way.

THE TIGER ARMY (9) charged through the line late last start once eventually getting clear. The draw does him no favours in this race but he should be suited off the speed and will be running on well late.

ASHLEE NITRO (1) burned across early last time out before sitting on the back of Jaccka Cooper and running third. She draws well this time and should be able to get an easier run early.

SELECTIONS: JACCKA COOPER (10), PRECOCIOUS KATE (2), THE TIGER ARMY (9), ASHLEE NITRO (1)

SUGGESTED BET: THE TIGER ARMY (9) each way.

RACE 2

MY ULTIMATE MARIO (1) has never led in his 33 starts so far in QLD but does have reasonable gate speed and looks to get the best chance yet to lead and be very hard to beat. He charged up in behind them last start and had nowhere to go at a crucial stage.

A PERFECT DANCE (7) should get a good run through on the back of a horse that’s likely to be keen to hold a forward position. She drew poorly last start and ran on well in a race which didn’t suit horses running on late.

MULLUM RUBY (6) returns in this race from a spell having won a recent trial at Redcliffe. She is a speedy mare that will likely be shuffled back and if the race is run to suit she should be running on late.

SKYS LEGACY (4) ran well last start when working through the line nicely in a race taken out by fellow NSW visitor Judah Red at this track. He looks likely to be shuffled back again and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE MARIO (1), A PERFECT DANCE (7), MULLUM RUBY (6), SKYS LEGACY (4)

SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE MARIO (1) to win.

RACE 3

LITTLEMICKEY (1) has run some of his best races out in front. He led three starts ago and was a fairly dominant winner there albeit in a slightly easier race over Vinnie Nitro who has won twice since. He is likely better suited over the 1780 but if he gets a cheap lead he can be hard to run down.

SATELLITE SIMBA (7) should get a good run through behind a horse that is likely to be keen to hold a forward position in this race. He was shuffled back last start and couldn’t get into it in a race first and second were leading and in the breeze. He should get every chance.

BARLOR HEAVEN (9) got back in the run last time out and hit the line powerfully late in a race taken out by Jaccka Cooper. He looks likely to be shuffled back again in this race and could be suited by the step up to the 2040.

BOLZANO (6) was a winner two starts ago when well driven to get through up the inside and score. He then got back in the run last start and couldn’t get into it late. He should be running on again.

SELECTIONS: LITTLEMICKEY (1), SATELLITE SIMBA (7), BARLOR HEAVEN (9), BOLZANO (6)

SUGGESTED BET: SATELLITE SIMBA (7) to each way.

RACE 4

FAVREAU (2) has good gate speed and may be able to press onto the lead in this race. He raced without luck last time out when left without cover. He ran well his start prior over the 2040 and may be suited by the step back in distance in this race.

LOVIN MISS DIXIE (1) showed good gate speed last start before electing to hand over to Taylors Four before finishing second to that horse. She has the speed to lead in this race which gives her options in the early stages.

OHOKAREDROBINJUJON (9) has been building and getting better each run so far this preparation. He ran his best race yet last time out when leading and being run down by the horse that had the perfect trip on his back Cheeky Baby. This race appears to have a touch less depth but he does draw outside the back row.

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (7) got back in the run and was making up late ground in a race taken out by Taylors Four at this track. She should appreciate a soft run on the pegs in this race and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: FAVREAU (2), LOVIN MISS DIXIE (1), OHOKAREDROBINJUJON (9), SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (7)

SUGGESTED BET: FAVREAU (2) to win.

RACE 5

SPORTY AZZ (7) draws poorly in this race inside the back row and will need luck at the right time to get into the race. He has been racing very well in recent outings including last start when getting a long way back before shooting up the inside the late to finish second.

CONNIES SPIRIT (8) is a capable speedy sit sprint mare that raced without luck last start after handing over to a horse that tired and halted her momentum at a crucial stage before she ran up behind them late with nowhere to go. She should be running on strongly.

ESTIVAL (2) is a mare with good gate speed that may look to press forward and lead before having options from there. She was driven quietly last start and ran the best race she has in quite some time when flashing into second.

TRACER BULLET (5) drew a touch awkwardly last start and was shuffled back as a result before finishing off late not beaten far by Erasmus. He draws poorly and may need a few things to go his way but is racing well enough.

SELECTIONS: SPORTY AZZ (7), CONNIES SPIRIT (8), ESTIVAL (2), TRACER BULLET (5)

SUGGESTED BET: CONNIES SPIRIT (8) to win.

RACE 6

JUDAH RED (7) scored an impressive win last start when working hard to lead before running away late to win well. He draws to get the perfect run through in the early stages behind a horse that is likely to be keen to hold the lead.

NOTIONS (1) was first up for the stable of Trent Dawson two starts ago when appearing to be quite unlucky running up behind them late. She was able to make amends last start when leading and scoring nicely over Robin Jujon.

STRAIGHTNNARROW (5) was able to drive through and lead last start and scored a nice win over Qilin at this track. He draws worse this time outside of the front row and will likely need a few things to go his way to figure late.

NEED NOT TO WARRY (6) has been in excellent form recently having recorded four consecutive placings in his last four starts. He got back in the run last start and was finishing well late into third behind Mister Freeman.

SELECTIONS: JUDAH RED (7), NOTIONS (1), STRAIGHTNNARROW (5), NEED NOT TO WARRY (6)

SUGGESTED BET: NOTIONS (1) to win.

RACE 7

ALL EYES ON BLING (2) was forced to race without cover last time out after starting from an awkward draw inside the back row and she battled on well but was nabbed late by Rainbow Feels. She draws much better this time and should lead and be very hard to run down.

QUICK SHAVE (7) draws poorly inside the back row and will need luck at the right time to get into the clear. He led and won three starts ago at this track before taking on stronger company his last two and battling away well.

ONLY ONE REASON (6) ran very well four starts ago when finding second to Mighty Crunch at this track. He made a break at a crucial stage two starts ago which proved costly before making a break at the start last time and taking no part. Needs to bring his manners.

VINCENT BELLE (1) secured a good run last start and battled away fairly for fourth. In a race that lacks depth he may be able to hang on for a top four position at a price.

SELECTIONS: ALL EYES ON BLING (2), QUICK SHAVE (7), ONLY ONE REASON (6), VINCENT BELLE (1)

SUGGESTED BET: ALL EYES ON BLING (2) to win.

RACE 8

QILIN (1) has reasonable gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead this race in the early stages. Last time he led he was beaten by Moonshine Milly and Lostandfound who are both likely better than the quality of horses he meets in this race.

MACK ATTACK (7) should get the perfect run through in the early stages on the back of a horse likely to be keen to hold the lead. He got the ideal run through last start and was able to nab the leaders back early. He was then impeded by a tiring runner and with more luck looks to have strong claims in this race.

JOVIAL JODI (9) hasn’t missed a placing in her four starts. She was able to find the lead last start and scored a dominant win. She draws the back row this time and would appreciate a genuine early tempo to bring her into the race.

STUNNING STRANGER (8) was forced to race without cover last start and was well beaten by Straightnnarrow when finishing third. He should get a good run through in this race and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: QILIN (1), MACK ATTACK (7), JOVIAL JODI (9), STUNNING STRANGER (8)

SUGGESTED BET: QILIN (1) to win.

RACE 9

DIVA BON VIVA (3) was left without cover last time out and battled away well for second behind stablemate Berrylicious. She draws better than the key dangers in this race and may be able to work forward and find the lead. She should be hard to beat.

ROCKY OUTLOOK (5) got shuffled back a long way last time out before flashing home late into fourth. He has improved each run this prep and is likely to have derived further benefit from his latest outing. He looks likely to get back and should be running on well late.

FREE DELIVERY (9) led last start at this track before sustaining a flat tyre and not being beaten far by Awholelottahappy. He hasn’t drawn as well this time but still looks one of the main chances in the race.

STORMY MIDNIGHT (4) put in a run last start that was well below market expectations having been well backed to win. He ran on fairly on debut. His trial was good enough to suggest he could be competitive in a race of this nature.

SELECTIONS: DIVA BON VIVA (3), ROCKY OUTLOOK (5), FREE DELIVERY (9), STORMY MIDNIGHT (4)

SUGGESTED BET: ROCKY OUTLOOK (5) to win.

RACE 10

SWEET TIMES (3) started a short priced favourite last time out and was left to do the work outside his stablemate in a race taken out by Crunchy Tuna. He looks to find a race where he should be able to work to the lead early and should be very hard to beat.

RED AND RICH (6) is the progeny of the former smart filly Jiggle And Jive who won 4 races at 2. He trialled up well recently at Albion Park rating reasonable time and appearing to run through the line nicely late.

JEWEL REASON (4) forged to the lead last time out at the top of the straight before getting tired late and finishing fourth. This appears a drop in grade and should appears to get every opportunity to break her maiden status.

DISEMBARK (2) has options from a good draw whether he ducks onto the pegs early or elects to stay in the running line. He put in a good run two starts ago at Redcliffe after sitting without cover.

SELECTIONS: SWEET TIMES (3), RED AND RICH (6), JEWEL REASON (4), DISEMBARK (2)

SUGGESTED BET: SWEET TIMES (3) to win.
