RACE 1

BENNY (7) was an impressive winner two starts ago at this track when finding the front and proving too good. He then did plenty wrong last start and was still able to close strongly and nearly win. He should run well.

MANE ATTRACTION (3) stepped nicely two starts ago and was able to lead for a long way there. She then made a break last time out which took her out of contention. She can look to bounce back in this race.

BOSTON BLIZZARD (2) sat behind the leader last time out and was able to battle on well for third there. She should be able to step well again in this race and with the right run she can figure in the finish again.

MUFASA DYNASTY (6) ran fairly on debut when securing a good run on the fence before running into fourth. He is likely to have derived a lot of benefit from the outing and should run well again.

SELECTIONS: BENNY (7), MANE ATTRACTION (3), BOSTON BLIZZARD (2), MUFASA DYNASTY (6)

SUGGESTED BET: BENNY (7) to win.

RACE 2

NONIS GOLD CLASS (8) has returned nicely from a spell having run two good placings her past two outings. She was beaten by Iconic Image and Serena Love in those races which are both handy trotters. She will need luck from the draw but is capable of winning if that luck comes.

ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (1) has not previously been that well served from this gate beginning slowly or making a break. She has shown plenty of ability and if things go her way in the run she looks a strong chance of taking this race out.

DINGANE (6) went for a spell after beating Black Viper break his maiden status. Has since had a long spell before trialling up reasonably in preparation for a return to the races in a new stable.

BLACK VIPER (10) made a break last time out which saw him well beaten as a result. He had showed ability so far this campaign and could run well despite the draw.

SELECTIONS: NONIS GOLD CLASS (8), ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (1), DINGANE (6), BLACK VIPER (10)

SUGGESTED BET: NONIS GOLD CLASS (8) to win.

RACE 3

STRADDIE BABE (5) was able to utilise a good draw last time out to drive through and lead. She should be able to work forward in this race from a slightly awkward draw and if she could find the front she would likely be hard to hard to run down.

FAN THE FLAME (4) was able to work forward last time out and take up the lead before being run down by Sweet Leah Jane who had the cold sit on her back through the run. She is likely to have derived good benefit from recent outings and should run another good race.

LUCY RHAYNE BOW (3) worked into a good position last time out when racing at Redcliffe and ran on fairly late into fourth behind Sweet Leah Jane. She should settle close enough and can run well again.

MACKENZIE REG (7) was able to drive through and hold the lead last time out at Redcliffe before scoring a dominant win. She draws outside the front row this time and will likely get less favours in the run.

SELECTIONS: STRADDIE BABE (5), FAN THE FLAME (4), LUCY RHAYNE BOW (3), MACKENZIE REG (7)

SUGGESTED BET: FAN THE FLAME (4) to win.

RACE 4

SQUAMISH (9) was able to find the front last start and rolled along rating good time for the grade beating Instant Delight and Alderbaran Sue. He is a smart upcoming trotter and should be able to find a prominent position from a good draw. He should be hard to beat again in this race.

SERENA LOVE (3) draws to advantage over a number of her key rivals in this race and will likely look to hold that advantage early in this race. She was able to beat Iconic Image last time out who has been in excellent recent form.

INSTANT DELIGHT (8) secured a good run last time out and was able to run on well into second behind Squamish. She follows out a horse which is likely to be shuffled back in Buckles but should be able to work into the clear and run another placing.

WHIRLWIND WILBUR (7) secured the perfect run in his latest win on the back of INSTANT DELIGHT (8) and was able to run her down late. He will need luck from the wide draw but should be running on well late.

SELECTIONS: SQUAMISH (9), SERENA LOVE (3), INSTANT DELIGHT (8), WHIRLWIND WILBUR (7)

SUGGESTED BET: SQUAMISH (9) to win.

RACE 5

SWIFT CODE (7) went around in the Oaks and Derby consolation last time out when securing the leaders back trail and being beaten a touch over a length by Co Captain. She drew well in that race and hasn’t had so many favours this time. She looks one of the class runners but will need luck.

RUGGARDS GEE TEE (6) has previously done his racing in Victoria and will be having his first QLD start in this race. He appears to be a horse that does his best racing when up on speed and will likely look to press forward from the wide gate.

BETTOR BE BOHDI (5) has very good gate speed and was able to find the front last time out before being run down by The Torque Effect. He should be able to lead again and has options from there.

CHERRIES ON TOP (8) secured a good run last time out and looked under pressure turning for home before working through her gears up the straight and running through the line well. She should secure a good run off the speed and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: SWIFT CODE (7), RUGGARDS GEE TEE (6), BETTOR BE BOHDI (5), CHERRIES ON TOP (8)

SUGGESTED BET: RUGGARDS GEE TEE (6) to win.

RACE 6

MARTIN MAGIC (2) should be able to show gate speed to work forward and lead. He sat just behind the speed two starts ago and was able to run a good third behind Tralee Snickas and Miki B. He should run well.

KOSIMO (6) got back in the run last start at this track in a truly run race before flying home late to get into second behind Bluto. He draws poorly and could be shuffled back early but should be running on strongly late.

HELL IM SMOOTH (9) drew poorly and got a long way back last start when running on late into seventh in a race taken out by Kick The Switch. He should get a good run close to the speed this time and should be running on late again.

WESTERN ARTERRA (1) has the gate speed to hold a forward position in this race. Five starts ago he showed excellent gate speed to find the pegs before using the sprint lane late to score.

SELECTIONS: MARTIN MAGIC (2), KOSIMO (6), HELL IM SMOOTH (9), WESTERN ARTERRA (1)

SUGGESTED BET: KOSIMO (6) to win.

RACE 7

SHE MAYBE BETTOR (1) had to work hard last time out at this track to lead before setting a genuine tempo and being run down in the concluding stages by MULLUM DOC (10). She should be able to secure an easier lead and may be able to turn the tables if she can control things out in front.

MULLUM DOC (10) scored an impressive win over October Racketeer last time out at Marburg when sneaking in leaders back before running over the top late. He backed that up with a great win last time out when racing off the pegs and simply proving too good for SHE MAYBE BETTOR (1). He should run well again.

ONE CHAIN ROAD (8) should have the speed to drive through behind the leader and hold the leaders back. He took on a similar race last time out when showing gate speed before being left off the fence. He should be an improver on the fence this time.

LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (7) was able to secure a good run last time out on the pegs when finishing strongly late into third behind Always Adorned. He draws wide this time but when he was racing well he had toughness and could be driven up on speed.

SELECTIONS: SHE MAYBE BETTOR (1), MULLUM DOC (10), ONE CHAIN ROAD (8), LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (7)

SUGGESTED BET: ONE CHAIN ROAD (8) each way.

RACE 8

ROCKIN IN PARADISE (10) attempted to use his gate speed to try and get across last time out and burned hard before being shuffled back to last and just faded out of it late. He should get a softer run early this time and he can look to bounce back.

SCOTTIE MACH (1) has done his previous racing in NSW and lands in the stable of John Boserio for this race. He trialled just fairly at Redcliffe recently when finishing fourth in a moderate field. He will likely be looking to burrow through early and should run well if he can lead.

CEDAR CREEK FALLS (8) loves to race behind the speed on the pegs in her races. She should get a good run through and if Scottie Mach is able to work through and hold the lead early she should get every chance in this race.

PRINCESS ARNA (9) took on a much stronger field last time out in a race taken out by Dreamalittledream where she sat behind the leader and faded into sixth late. She should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: ROCKIN IN PARADISE (10), SCOTTIE MACH (1), CEDAR CREEK FALLS (8), PRINCESS ARNA (9)

SUGGESTED BET: ROCKIN IN PARADISE (10) to win.

RACE 9

KASH FUND (11) drew poorly outside the front row last time out and was finishing it off strongly into third behind The Torque Effect. He draws poorly again in this race but could be suited by what might be a genuine early tempo.

POWERMOVE (5) has very good early speed and may look for a forward position in this race. She led early before handing over to Ourbeachgirlmaywyn and battling on well for fifth late. She looks better suited in this field and should run well.

SAME OLD DEVIL (9) sat 3 back on the pegs last time out and was able to edge out Fight For Victory and POWERMOVE (5) late for third. He should get a good run off the speed again in this race and can be running on late.

JOHEMIAN (3) led initially last time out before handing over to Williams and battling on fairly late for fourth in what appeared a fairly strong field. He should be able to work forward in this race and can look to follow the right horse again.

SELECTIONS: KASH FUND (11), POWERMOVE (5), SAME OLD DEVIL (9), JOHEMIAN (3)

SUGGESTED BET: KASH FUND (11) to win.
