RACE 1

CATTLECALL (4) showed gate speed early before finding a good position in the run with cover and finishing it off reasonably for fifth behind Maywyn Son Of Lou. This looks a considerably easier race and he draws the best of what look to be the main chances on paper. If he can lead he would likely be very hard to run down.

MAJOR IMPRESSION (6) showed good gate speed in a recent trial to hold the lead early before handing over through the middle stages. He was able to shift into the sprint lane late and sprinted best to take out the trial. He is likely to have derived benefit from that recent outing and should run well.

SAUV BLANC (5) was shuffled back early in a recent trial before running on nicely enough into third late behind Carly Perez. She draws a touch awkwardly but should settle close enough in the small field and can be running on late.

OLIVIA RHAYNE BOW (7) got back in a recent trial and ran through the line fairly late. She is well related being a half sibling to the smart QLD mare Rylee Rhayne Bow who won close to $340k in her career.

SELECTIONS: CATTLECALL (4), MAJOR IMPRESSION (6), SAUV BLANC (5), OLIVIA RHAYNE BOW (7)

SUGGESTED BET: CATTLECALL (4) to win.

RACE 2

ALDEBARAN SUE (3) made a break in the early stages last time out after starting from a 20 metres handicap but was still able to recover and score a good win at this track and trip. She moves back to the mobile start and should have the gate speed to work across to the lead.

TARENTAISE (5) trialled up nicely at this track recently when beaten just 4.6 metres by a field of pacers. His best NSW form is good enough to be competitive in a race of this nature despite a slightly awkward draw.

ALADDIN SANE (10) was able to secure a good run off the speed last time out and was running on nicely late into second behind Aldebaran Sue. He draws the back row in this race which may suit him allowing him to settle early and come with one run late.

GAZ MAN (8) draws awkwardly inside the back row to follow out a horse which may be shuffled back early. He was very unlucky two starts ago when running on strongly into second behind Cascata when badly held up at a crucial stage.

SELECTIONS: ALDEBARAN SUE (3), TARENTAISE (5), ALADDIN SANE (10), GAZ MAN (8)

SUGGESTED BET: ALDEBARAN SUE (3) to win.

RACE 3

DEGARMEA TEALE (5) was very impressive last time out when racing on the pegs and finishing fourth in the Queensland Oaks behind Ripples. She has good early speed and should be able to work across to the lead in the early stages of this race. It looks a considerable drop in grade and she should be very hard to beat.

FIGHT FOR VICTORY (2) was able to secure a good run last start and was running on late into second behind Opallane at Redcliffe. He draws well to immediately gain a position in the running line without working but likely doesn’t have the gate speed to hold the early lead off what he has shown previously. He seems to be working back towards some of his better form.

SASSABA (6) secured a good run on the pegs last time out and was working home reasonably late when running fourth behind Bennydasook. He raced without cover two starts ago and was battling on fairly there for fifth.

FLORAS FOLLY (3) was able to find the front last time out when battling on well for third behind Major Orion at Redcliffe. She has a reasonable draw in this race and should be able to find a prominent position.

SELECTIONS: DEGARMEA TEALE (5), FIGHT FOR VICTORY (2), SASSABA (6), FLORAS FOLLY (3)

SUGGESTED BET: DEGARMEA TEALE (5) to win.

RACE 4

BEACHBABE CROCKER (2) was forced to race without cover last time out at this track over the 2138 and battled on well behind Co Captain. She looks to be better suited racing over the 1660 and should be able to find the front in the early stages. She looks hard to beat.

JAMES ALFRED (5) took on the Queensland Derby consolation last time out when being shuffled a long way back before running on strongly late into fourth. He draws wide this time and may be shuffled back again but should be running on strongly late.

TIMMYTEO (4) took on the consolation of the Queensland Derby last time out and was running on into sixth behind Luvtobeuptome. He appears to be dropping back in grade into this race and looks to get a good run close to the speed in this race. He should be running on late.

MISTER SEASIDE (3) ran on strongly into second behind Ourbeachgirlmaywyn when first up in the state for the stable of Graham Dwyer two starts ago. He then backed that up with a good third to Bennydasook. He should settle close enough.

SELECTIONS: BEACHBABE CROCKER (2), JAMES ALFRED (5), TIMMYTEO (4), MISTER SEASIDE (3)

SUGGESTED BET: BEACHBABE CROCKER (2) to win.

RACE 5

OCTOBER RACKETEER (5) led last time out at Marburg for most of the way before being run down late by Mullum Doc who then won again at this track in good time. If he is able to find the front in this race he would likely be quite hard to run down.

PINKCHAMPAGNE (8) handed over the lead last time out before finishing third behind Opallane at Redcliffe who rated fast time for the grade. This looks a considerably easier race than her latest outing and she does draw to follow a gate speed horse.

BLUE BLOODZ (9) led two starts ago before handing over to Goodoldboysandbeers and running a good second over the 2138. He should get a soft run off the speed in this race early and can be running on late if the race is run to suit.

AZOR AHAI (1) has good gate speed and may look to hold a prominent position in the early stages. He was able to lead over the 2040 at Redcliffe when appearing to over race before kicking and just being run down by Prospectus who had a soft run on the pegs.

SELECTIONS: OCTOBER RACKETEER (5), PINKCHAMPAGNE (8), BLUE BLOODZ (9), AZOR AHAI (1)

SUGGESTED BET: PINKCHAMPAGNE (8) each way.

RACE 6

ALL OVER IT (8) started an even money favourite last time out in the Derby Consolation when leading and fading late into fifth after copping some pressure in the run. He starts off the back row this time and has options in the early stages. There should be a genuine tempo and he can be running on strongly late.

BELLISSIMO ACQUISTO (7) impressed last campaign when landing in the stable of Matt Elkins rating quick time both leading and sitting without cover in races. He draws wide in this race which does look to make things a touch awkward and there is plenty of gate speed drawn to his inside. If he can find the top he would be very hard to beat.

UNCLE TONY (4) did plenty of work last time out in a race taken out by Race For Riches. He was able to forge to the front eventually but had already done too much work and faded late into seventh. A step back to the 1660 and a more economical run could see him run well in this race.

BUDDY PERFECT (6) started on the back row last time out and was running on well into fourth having had to navigate plenty of traffic in the run. He draws poorly in this race but could be suited by a strong tempo and is one to include at a price.

SELECTIONS: ALL OVER IT (8), BELLISSIMO ACQUISTO (7), UNCLE TONY (4), BUDDY PERFECT (6)

SUGGESTED BET: ALL OVER IT (8) to win.

RACE 7

CALL TO ORDER (6) was able to take out the consolation of the Inter Dominion last time out when getting back to near last before unleashing a powerful finish to reel in Darin who had sat leaders back in the run. He draws wide in this race and will likely be taken back early but it does appear a race which could generate a strong enough tempo.

SPIRIT OF ANARCHY (8) has been very impressive since joining the stable of Matt Elkins having won two from two starts rating fast time on both occasions. This race does look tougher and he draws awkwardly inside the back row. He can win but will need some luck at the right time.

BLUTO (7) was able to work to the pegs last time out before handing over and was able to use the sprint lane to score. He does seem best suited when driven with a sit in his races which could see him shuffled a long way back over the mile.

ROCKNROLL WALLA (3) was taken back at the start last time out and couldn’t get into the race late. He draws much closer in this time and may be able to use his gate speed to work to the early lead. If he was able to find the front he would likely be very hard to run down.

SELECTIONS: CALL TO ORDER (6), SPIRIT OF ANARCHY (8), BLUTO (7), ROCKNROLL WALLA (3)

SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL WALLA (3) each way.

RACE 8

MONOPOLLIE (6) is right down in grade on some of his better efforts and seems to be working back into some better form. He worked to the lead last time out and was run down late by the horse on his back Bettor Cheer. He should appreciate the step back in trip to the 1660 and if he finds the front again he is likely to be hard to beat.

BART BENTLEY (9) took a trail in the early stages last time out on Fifty Three Stars and was able to run a good second to that horse in fast time for the grade. He appears to drop back in class and draws to do no work in the early stages. He should be running into it late.

ROYAL PRINCESS (3) has good gate speed and draws well in this race. She worked forward early last time out before being shuffled back in the run in a race taken out by Bettor Cheer. If she found the front she would be hard to beat.

POCKET BOOK (2) was able to secure the perfect run leaders back last time out and proved too good after using the sprint lane to score. She draws well again in this race and should be close enough in the run to figure again.

SELECTIONS: MONOPOLLIE (6), BART BENTLEY (9), ROYAL PRINCESS (3), POCKET BOOK (2)

SUGGESTED BET: MONOPOLLIE (6) to win.

RACE 9

OURBEACHGIRLMAYWYN (3) has been excellent so far this campaign and will be looking for a hat-trick of wins in this race. She was able to find the front last time out at this track over the 1660 and proved too good for Mister Seaside who ran into second late. She should lead and be hard to run down.

BENNYDASOOK (6) has been very good in recent outings. He was able to find the front last time out and took them all the way scoring a dominant win at this track and trip beating Sitting On Eight. He should run well again.

JEFFCOATE (1) doesn’t have the best numerical form coming into this race but hasn’t drawn well recently and has been taking on some competitive races. He worked early last time out before racing off the pegs and fading late. He should be able to find the leaders back this time and could be a big improver.

RATATATTAT (8) should get a good run through early and should settle close enough on the pegs. He raced without much luck last time out in a race taken out by Fifty Three Stars when not beaten far in fourth.

SELECTIONS: OURBEACHGIRLMAYWYN (3), BENNYDASOOK (6), JEFFCOATE (1), RATATATTAT (8)

SUGGESTED BET: JEFFCOATE (1) each way.
