RACE 1

WEE BONNIE (3) should have the speed to drive through and lead in the early stages of the race. She drew wide last time out and was seemingly pulling hard throughout before finishing the race off fairly. She has run well in this type of grade and should run well again.

SON OF DOC (4) sat without cover and had a tough run last start when fading into fifth. He hasn’t had much luck since landing in QLD having previously done his racing in NZ and should run well in this race.

WINDY HILL WHISKEY (5) was sent out a short priced favourite last time out at Redcliffe when running on just fairly late into fifth behind Kingsbury. She draws widest this time and looks likely to be forced to work at some stage to get into the race.

ALSROKSTAR (7) got back last time out and was running on well late into fourth behind Champagne Walsh. He looks likely to get back again from a back row draw and should be running on late.

SELECTIONS: WEE BONNIE (3), SON OF DOC (4), WINDY HILL WHISKEY (5), ALSROKSTAR (7)

SUGGESTED BET: WEE BONNIE (3) to win.

RACE 2

DARK AND HANDSOME (2) was sent out a well supported favourite last time out at Redcliffe over the 2040 when running into fifth late. He draws well in this race and may be able to work to the front in the early stages which would likely see him very hard to beat.

SINKRATE (4) trialled up well behind Doublefault when taking a trail on that horse and running a clear second in the trial. He is having his first race start for the stable of Jack Butler and looks well suited in this company.

WICKED DE LIL (3) ran well three starts ago for a race of this nature behind Quick Shave. Draws a touch awkwardly in this race but should settle close enough and looks better suited in this race.

LACEYS LASS (5) appeared to over race badly last time out at Redcliffe when fading into sixth. She has the ability to figure in a race of this nature but just needs to bring better manners this time and does draw poorly.

SELECTIONS: DARK AND HANDSOME (2), SINKRATE (4), WICKED DE LIL (3), LACEYS LASS (5)

SUGGESTED BET: DARK AND HANDSOME (2) to win.

RACE 3

OUR ULTIMATE BEATY (6) got back in the run last time out at Redcliffe and was able to hit the line powerfully to finish second behind Wicked Victree. She draws inside the back row this time and will need luck at some stage but does look well suited in this field.

GOODTIME FLETCH (2) got back last time out from a wide draw and just hit the line fairly late when well beaten. He draws to get a good run close to the speed this time and may be able to bounce back.

MY ULTIMATE LEO (7) was first up from a spell last time out when getting back from a wide draw and running on fairly late. He is likely to have derived good benefit from that last start outing and should be running on well again in what appears an easier race.

KIPCHOGE (5) was well driven last time out to nab the spot on the leaders back early and was good enough to battle on well for a close up fourth. He draws wide this time but does have some early speed and with the right trip could figure in a race of this nature.

SELECTIONS: OUR ULTIMATE BEATY (6), GOODTIME FLETCH (2), MY ULTIMATE LEO (7), KIPCHOGE (5)

SUGGESTED BET: GOODTIME FLETCH (2) to win.

RACE 4

GOTTA DREAM (1) was able to lead easily last time out and proved too good there for Ebony Belle who had the perfect run on his back. He should have the speed to lead again but does step up to the 2200 which could prove somewhat of a query. She should be hard to run down again.

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6) should get the perfect run through behind the likely leader in the race. He led last start and rated good time out in front when run down late by Turbo Tommy and Sports Bounty. He should get the perfect run in this race and will be dangerous late if the gaps appear.

YOGI (9) was able to nab the leaders back trail last time out when running on strongly to beat Beach Magic and Jilliby Panda. He should get a good run off the speed and seems to like the 2200 at this track having run well previously.

ICANANDIWILL (2) led last time out at Redcliffe when starting favourite and ran a good race being run down in the concluding stages by Our Uncle Les. She draws well in this race but may be left off the pegs which could make her task slightly tougher.

SELECTIONS: GOTTA DREAM (1), CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6), YOGI (9), ICANANDIWILL (2)

SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6) to win.

RACE 5

MAGICOL IDEAL (4) has excellent early speed and should be able to work across to the lead in the early stages of this race. This race looks a lot easier than some of the races he’s been taking on in recent outings and he looks very well graded.

BETA THAN LOVE (7) trialled up well on return from a spell recently at this track when finishing second behind Cool Dude Joey. She seems to be at her best when saved up for one run at them late and should get that opportunity from a soft trailing draw in this race.

OUTER CHANGE (8) secured a good run three back on the pegs two starts ago and was running on strongly late into second. She then got shuffled back in a stronger race last start and ran on fairly late for fifth.

MOLLIDOR (1) draws well in this race and seems to love racing at this track. She is first up since late May which does appear a query.

SELECTIONS: MAGICOL IDEAL (4), BETA THAN LOVE (7), OUTER CHANGE (8), MOLLIDOR (1)

SUGGESTED BET: MAGICOL IDEAL (4) to win.

RACE 6

FLY BURRA (7) drew wide last time out and was shuffled back to last before running on strongly late into sixth. He should settle a lot closer this time and may be suited by the step up to 2200 in this race in a slightly easier field.

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (8) got back in the run last time out from a wide draw and was making up late ground into sixth behind Gotta Dream at this track. He loves racing at this track having won 8 races around Marburg. He should settle close enough and can be running on late.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9) sat fourth on the fence last time out and finished fourth at Redcliffe behind Galvarino. He is a horse that has seemingly always done his best work when saved for one run off the speed. He should get a good run and if the race is run to suit he can be running on late.

ITS ONE LIFE (1) did things wrong in a recent trial and was well beaten as a result which makes it difficult to know where he is at on return. The best version of this horse would likely lead and be very hard to run down in this company.

SELECTIONS: FLY BURRA (7), SAINT LOUIS BEAT (8), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9), ITS ONE LIFE (1)

SUGGESTED BET: FLY BURRA (7) to win.

RACE 7

HES SWEET (2) has good early speed and will likely look to press onto the lead in the early stages of the race. He sat outside the leader last time out and battled on well for fourth in a race the winner Real Tin Tin rated good time.

ART JESTER (8) has been racing well and seemingly finds a slightly weaker races than the races he’s been contesting. Two starts ago he secured a good run and was running on well into third late behind Miss Syrah. He can be running on late if the race is run to suit.

AT THE POINTY END (1) has just moderate early speed which could see her crossed in the early stages. She secured a good run last time out and ran on fairly late into fifth. She should get every chance.

YNOBE NOVA (6) led last time out and copped plenty of pressure there when battling on to hold out Heza Maywyn who had a much softer run in the race. She looks set to get a much softer run in the race this time and could be running on strongly late.

SELECTIONS: HES SWEET (2), ART JESTER (8), AT THE POINTY END (1), YNOBE NOVA (6)

SUGGESTED BET: HES SWEET (2) to win.

RACE 8

LITTLEMICKEY (2) secured a good run at this track two starts ago and was able to run into third behind Lulu Lucifer. He draws outside of a horse that is stepping up in class and may be able to take a trail. If he found the front he would likely be very hard to beat.

JIMMY BLING (3) ran well last time out when finishing fifth behind Lets Go Bailey at Albion Park. He draws well in this race and should settle close enough in the race. He has scored 3 of his 10 wins at this track.

ROSIES BOY (4) was able to lead last time out over the 2040 at Redcliffe beating Nautie Galvinator. He has previously won at the track but does draw a touch awkwardly in this race and will need a few things to go his way.

ROCKIN SWEET (9) worked to the lead last time out and proved a good winner over Prince Joy. He has since changed trainer and is starting from a poor draw in this race. He will need a few things to go his way in the run.

SELECTIONS: LITTLEMICKEY (2), JIMMY BLING (3), ROSIES BOY (4), ROCKIN SWEET (9)

SUGGESTED BET: LITTLEMICKEY (2) to win.

RACE 9

LULU LUCIFER (1) usually likes to lead in her races and should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race from the ideal draw. She secured a good run leaders back last time out over the 2040 at Redcliffe and did well to run third behind Rosies Boy and Nautie Galvinator.

MICHAEL CAINE (6) started first up last time out and was well beaten by Merry Jewel. He is likely to have derived a lot of benefit from his first up outing in QLD and should get every chance from soft trailing draw.

VICTREE BUSTA (2) was able to lead three starts ago and did well to hold off the late challenge of Black Gemstone. He has since raced with less luck in stronger races. He should settle close enough and can be running on late.

PROSPECTUS (3) was well driven two starts ago to navigate away from the pegs to score running down Azor Ahai in the concluding stages. She then got back in the run and was running on late into fifth.

SELECTIONS: LULU LUCIFER (1), MICHAEL CAINE (6), VICTREE BUSTA (2), PROSPECTUS (3)

SUGGESTED BET: LULU LUCIFER (1) to win.
