Form Analysis: Marburg July 6

RACE 1 

PINK BONUS (4) has shown good ability in four career starts. She has good gate speed and may be able to work to the lead in the early stages of the race. She should be hard to beat if she was able to lead. 

DISEMBARK (7) has raced without luck in his last two outings. He was able to sit without cover three starts ago in a race taken out by Patori. He should be able to work around to race on speed and should run well again. 

SKYFALL ROYALE (6) got back to last in a recent Menangle trial before hitting the line strongly late when running up in behind them. He should get a reasonable run through early and will just need luck at the right time to get into the clear. 

WICKED VICTREE (1) looks to have trialled moderately times wise at tracks in NSW without any trial vision. He may be worth keeping safe on debut.

RACE 2 

ALL EYES ON BLING (5) was able to find the front last start at Redcliffe when over racing and just holding off Quick Shave late. She draws wide this time but draws outside of horses that would likely be happy to take a trail on this horse. She should run well. 

MIGHTY CRUNCH (6) secured a good run on the pegs last time out in a race taken out by Berocca Bernie at Albion Park and he was able to run on well late despite finishing last in the field of 6. He should secure a good run and if the gaps open up at the right time he looks a good chance. 

CELESTINE (7) ran well first up from a spell finishing fourth last start at this track after getting a long way back in the early stages of the race. She is likely to be much better for her trial and first up outing and should run well again. 

MIARKA (3) was caught wide early two starts ago at Marburg before being shuffled a long way back and struggling to run on late. She secured a good run on the pegs last time out and appeared to travel well before running up backsides late.

SUGGESTED BET: MIGHTY CRUNCH (6) to win. 

RACE 3

SIYA (1) has good early speed and should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of the race. She was luckless last start when being shuffled back early before running on strongly late into fourth in a race taken out by Mister Delwin. 

WICKED MACK (6) has very good gate speed and was able to drive through and lead last start when just run down late by Tiger Shirl. He looks set to secure a very good run on the back of a horse likely to be keen to hold a forward position in this race. 

MACK ATTACK (4) loves to race on the pegs and has beaten some nice enough horses on the pegs including last start when beating Qilin and Awholelottahappy. He looks set to be forced to work outside the lead in this race which could make things a lot tougher. He looks the class. 

BLACK GEMSTONE (9) drew wide last start and ran on strongly late into second behind Victree Busta. She looks likely to be shuffled back again in this race from an awkward draw but should be running on strongly late if the race is run to suit.

RACE 4 

OCTOBER RACKETEER (1) has been closing in on his first win for the Rothwell stable in recent outings. He drew awkwardly last start and just couldn’t quite run down Illbewatching last start who was able to lead in the race. He should be hard to beat. 

WANDARY DELIGHT (6) should get the ideal run through on the back of a gate speed horse in this race. She was a dominant winner recently at this track when leading all the way and dashing home a quick last quarter. 

ROSEANNE RUBY (7) was able to work to the lead last time out and just faded out of it late having possibly done a touch too much work to gain the lead. She can secure a much softer run on the pegs this time and should be vying for the placings late. 

IDEAL TIGER (9) ran on strongly late in the race last time out behind Lulu Lucifer at this track over the 2200. He is likely to get back in the run and should be running on late again.

SUGGESTED BET: OCTOBER RACKETEER (1) to win. 

RACE 5

GOOD WORD THAT (4) was crossed by Betting Baron in the early stages of the race last start before running on well late into second behind dominant winner Favreau. He should be able to work forward in this race and find a prominent position in this race and should be hard to beat. 

NO FAMILY LIKEMINE (3) is having her first race for a new stable in this race. She has shown ability at times and strikes a suitable type of race. She draws reasonably and could be worth keeping safe with her new trainer. 

MULLUM BOY (6) should get a good run through behind the potential leader in the race. He got back in a race last start which became a dash home and wasn’t suited. If the luck comes at the right time in this race he should run well. 

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (9) raced without luck last start when caught wide before being shuffled back and hit the line well enough late given the run he’d had. He is likely to be shuffled back and can be running on late.

SUGGESTED BET: GOOD WORD THAT (4) to win. 

RACE 6 

GOTTA DREAM (1) should have the gate speed to drive through and lead in this race which is a position he was able to win his latest race from at this track. He ran well last start when sitting in the breeze battling away for third behind Take Courage. 

EBONY BELLE (6) should get a good run through behind the likely leader in the race Gotta Dream. She ran on reasonably last start in a race taken out by Favreau who raced away late and scored a dominant win. 

AZOR AHAI (2) didn’t have the best of luck last start when shuffled a long way back in the run before being checked by a tiring runner. He should settle a lot closer in this race and looks to have claims with the right run in the race. 

SAMMYS SECRET (3) was forced to sit without cover last start and battled on strongly for a very narrow defeat behind Estival who was able to lead in the race. He seems to be near his best and should be able to race up on speed and run well again in this race.

SUGGESTED BET: AZOR AHAI (2) each way. 

RACE 7

SPLASHNDASH (4) raced close to the speed last start and was well beaten in a race taken out by Foxfire Easton. He should find this race a lot easier and should be able to find a prominent position up on speed again. He looks hard to beat. 

ROSIES BOY (3) raced off the speed last start and was running through the line well late in what appeared a strong race. He has gate speed and can press forward before potentially obtaining cover at some stage. He can bounce back. 

ONE LAST ROLL (6) draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race and will likely need plenty to go his way in the run. He was well beaten last start in a stronger race when breezing outside Belmer Betty. 

WEONA SIR VIVOR (1) trialled up moderately recently at this track and is likely to derive plenty of benefit from the outing. He has the good draw in this race giving him options.

SUGGESTED BET: ROSIES BOY (3) to win. 

RACE 8

SHES IN LINE (1) has good early speed and should be able to drive through and lead this race from the good draw. She raced on the pegs last time out and ran well enough in a race taken out by Dee Terror. She looks hard to beat.

DUAL CAM (6) is the track record holder over the 2200 at this track. He wasn’t ideally suited last start in a race that was taken out by in form filly Schooners. He should secure the right run to bounce back. 

B MAC C (7) ran fourth last start in a race dominated by horses on the pegs. He Should get a good run off the speed again in this race and can be running into it late. 

OUR SWEET JESS (2) put in a big run last start when sitting outside a horse which really got charging out in front in Splash Of Paynt and she was able to battle on nicely for fourth. She should settle close enough in the run and can run another good race.
