RACE 1

WINDY HILL WALLY (1) doesn’t have brilliant gate speed which has seen him rarely able to lead and often left to do the work in his races. He finds a race without much gate speed on the front row and draws well. He should drive through lead and be very hard to run down.

JUST A COOL DUDE (7) should get a great run through behind a runner likely to be keen to hold a forward position in the early stages. He got a good run off the speed last start and was running through the line well late in a race taken out by Rostova.

A PERFECT DANCE (8) has options in the early stages of this race whether she elects to stay in the running line or duck down onto the pegs. She ran a good third two starts ago behind Sweet Lad Jujon and My Ultimate Mario.

MY ULTIMATE MARIO (5) was crossed in the early stages two starts ago and just couldn’t quite reel in Sweet Lad Jujon who was able to control things out in front. He ran another good race last start behind Dolly Rocket. He is likely nearing peak fitness and should run well.

SELECTIONS: WINDY HILL WALLY (1), JUST A COOL DUDE (7), A PERFECT DANCE (8), MY ULTIMATE MARIO (5)

SUGGESTED BET: WINDY HILL WALLY (1) to win.

RACE 2

PLAYFUL MISS (1) has previously led and run well albeit against lesser opposition. With the stablemate drawn to her back in this race she may be keen to hold the lead from a good draw and is capable running well in a race of this nature.

EPIC ERNIE (7) was well beaten in a recent trial when running second behind much higher assessed Megs Boy. He should get a good run through behind stablemate Playful Miss in this race and if the gaps appear at the right time he should be right in the finish.

SHEREACTS (5) was left without cover when well beaten last start in what may have been a stronger race at Albion Park. She was a good winner at this track and trip two starts ago and should be able to bounce back in this race.

ROCK IT BABY (9) usually does his best work when able to find a position up on speed. He was able to run well two starts ago when breezing and battling on late for fourth behind the in-form Jaccka Cooper.

SELECTIONS: PLAYFUL MISS (1), EPIC ERNIE (7), SHEREACTS (5), ROCK IT BABY (9)

SUGGESTED BET: PLAYFUL MISS (1) to win.

RACE 3

MONOPOLLIE (4) has very good early speed and finds a race where he appears likely to be able to zip across and lead them up early. He drew poorly two starts ago at Albion Park and was running on well late into third behind Ascot Showtime in a race the winner rated good time.

LITTLE HOOFANANNY (1) isn’t a horse that possesses very good gate speed which can at times prove her undoing. She had a tough run last start when left without cover in a race the leader Maywyn Troubadour really bowled along out in front. She can bounce back.

TIGER TOMMY (2) was shuffled right back in the run last time out in a race taken out by Barlor heaven. She should settle closer in the run this time from a favourable draw and looks an each way hope.

MY ULTIMATE COSSIE (9) zipped across at the start last time out and was able to prove too good there at Albion Park leading all the way. He draws outside the back row this time but does appear well placed to run well again.

SELECTIONS: MONOPOLLIE (4), LITTLE HOOFANANNY (1), TIGER TOMMY (2), MY ULTIMATE COSSIE (9)

SUGGESTED BET: MONOPOLLIE (4) to win.

RACE 4

LAST CALL (8) burned hard to lead last start and battled on well for third there. She is usually best when sat up and saved for one run which is how she was driven four starts ago when flashing into the placings late. There should be enough speed on for her to be running into it late.

LITTLE SURFER GIRL (6) was able to lead from the good draw last start and proved too good for Rockin Sweet who raced without cover. She can press forward and race in a prominent position in a race which looks a touch easier than her recent outings.

MISTER DELWIN (1) was forced to race without cover last time out and was able to prove too good despite never seemingly being a horse best known for his toughness. He has the gate speed to lead in this race and can run well again.

SKINNY HORACE (7) ran fairly when first up for new trainer Dean Weller. He has since trialled behind Mister Reactor and is likely to have derived benefit fitness wise from his recent outings. He should get a good run through early behind a gate speed horse and may be suited stepping back to 1780.

SELECTIONS: LAST CALL (8), LITTLE SURFER GIRL (6), MISTER DELWIN (1), SKINNY HORACE (7)

SUGGESTED BET: LAST CALL (8) to win.

RACE 5

THREE CHORD RIFF (9) showed gate speed to lead last start and set a fairly strong tempo for the grade when run down late by Courageous Leo. She should get a good run off the speed this time and should be hard to hold out late.

BLUE BLOODZ (7) secured a good run last start and just couldn’t quite get into the clear at the right time to make his challenge. He seems better when saved up for one run at this stage of his career and may be suited by the trailing draw.

MAN OF ACTION (5) has plenty of early speed and should be able to find a prominent position from the wide draw. He raced without luck last start when held up in a race taken out by Mini Mine Yet.

NATTY PAGGER (1) is a trotter taking on the pacers in this race which seemingly hasn’t been a winning formula in recent months. He does have gate speed and should be able to hold a prominent position in the early stages of the race.

SELECTIONS: THREE CHORD RIFF (9), BLUE BLOODZ (7), MAN OF ACTION (5), NATTY PAGGER (1)

SUGGESTED BET: THREE CHORD RIFF (9) to win.

RACE 6

REAL MIKI (1) led five starts ago and belted rivals there winning by a huge margin beating Our Ultimate Penny. He draws well again in this race and a replication of his latest start leading would see him comfortably too good for this field.

PINKCHAMPAGNE (7) was able to secure a good run leaders back last time out and wasn’t beaten far in a race taken out by Rocky Leigh. She appears likely to get a great run again leaders back and looks to be following the right horse.

STAY DREAM (8) took on a race with more depth last time out taken out by Call It Bling over My Ultimate Zander where she finished sixth. She will have options whether to duck onto the pegs early or stay off in the running line in this race.

SON OF DOC (5) raced without luck last campaign including last start when badly held up. He comes into this race first up and if he is ready to go he has strong place claims with the right run into the race.

SELECTIONS: REAL MIKI (1), PINKCHAMPAGNE (7), STAY DREAM (8), SON OF DOC (5)

SUGGESTED BET: REAL MIKI (1) to win.

RACE 7

WICKED BERRIES (1) took on a stronger race last start when drawing wide getting back in the run and running on late into sixth at Menangle. She looks as though she may have some gate speed given how she has left the gate off the back row and should hold a prominent position early.

DIVA BON VIVA (5) was able to lead last time out when scoring a dominant win over lesser opposition. She was left to do the work outside the leader first up and battled away well for second behind Berrylicious. She is likely nearing peak fitness and can run well again despite the poor draw.

AWHOLELOTTAHAPPY (3) was completely luckless last time out when badly held up at a crucial stage in a race taken out by Quick Shave. She has seemingly improved each run this time in and can sit close to the speed and run well again.

BERRYLICIOUS (7) should get a good run through behind Wicked Berries in this race who is likely to be keen to hold a forward position. She was a good recent winner when beating stablemate Diva Bon Viva.

SELECTIONS: WICKED BERRIES (1), DIVA BON VIVA (5), AWHOLELOTTAHAPPY (3), BERRYLICIOUS (7)

SUGGESTED BET: AWHOLELOTTAHAPPY (3) to win.

RACE 8

ZOOMER BOOMER (1) trialled up well enough when finishing a well beaten third behind Don Hunter. She appears to have gate speed and is likely to have derived benefit from the recent trial. Greg Bennett jumps on for her debut run and she should run well.

FAN THE FLAME (5) ran well on debut when finishing strongly into a close up second behind stablemate Genuine Star. She then drew wide and was pushed right off the track in a race taken out by Crunchy Tuna. She looks well placed.

WANNABE ME (2) secured a good run on the fence last time out when finishing fourth behind Red And Rich. She looks likely to secure a great run again in this race close to the speed and should be thereabouts again.

LIGHTYEAR (4) was well beaten in a recent trial but the winner did rate good time and this horse didn’t finish too far behind one of his key rivals in this race Zoomer Boomer. He should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: ZOOMER BOOMER (1), FAN THE FLAME (5), WANNABE ME (2), LIGHTYEAR (4)

SUGGESTED BET: ZOOMER BOOMER (1) to win.
