RACE 1

REDS ABLAZE (5) was left without cover in a strong band 5 race where Luvarechs rated very fast time for the 2138. She contested The Queensland Sun her start prior and didn’t have the best of luck when impeded by a tiring runner. She should be able to work forward in this race and if she could find the lead she would be hard to run down.

SWEET AGENDA (3) has brilliant gate speed and may be able to zip across to the front and look for something to hand over to. She loomed into the race strongly last start at Redcliffe but just peaked on her run and couldn’t quite finish it off late.

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (1) was well beaten last time out albeit in a very strong race at Redcliffe taken out by the big class dropper Free Thinker. He has always done his best work on the rails and should get a good run. He can bounce back.

KICK THE SWITCH (9) burned hard to find the front early last time out before battling away to finish second in behind Spirit Of Anarchy who rated fast time leading all the way. He doesn’t draw quite as well this time on the back row and will need the race run to suit.

SELECTIONS: REDS ABLAZE (5), SWEET AGENDA (3), ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (1), KICK THE SWITCH (9)

SUGGESTED BET: REDS ABLAZE (5) to win.

RACE 2

TRALEE SNICKAS (1) sat outside the lead last time out and ran a very good race in a race taken out by Lochinvar Camaro. He should be able to drive through and lead this time and looks very hard to beat off his latest effort.

MIKI B (3) raced without luck last time out in The Rising Sun Consolation when getting back and running on into ninth. He was forced to sit without cover two starts ago and may be left to do the work again in this race.

MARTIN MAGIC (8) has two eighths next to his name in his latest two outings but has raced without luck when getting back and running on late both times. He should be suited in this race doing no work early and using his speed late. He can bounce back.

BEYOND DOUBT (12) seemed to have his chance two starts ago when nabbing the leaders back before just not quite running through the line his last 100. He then made a break and took no part last time out. He’s good enough to figure if he can bounce back to some of his better form.

SELECTIONS: TRALEE SNICKAS (1), MIKI B (3), MARTIN MAGIC (8), BEYOND DOUBT (12)

SUGGESTED BET: TRALEE SNICKAS (1) to win.

RACE 3

CARDIGAN DAN (1) had a tough run last time out at Wagga when sitting without cover in the Nutrien Sales Classic final which was taken out by star 3YO Hollywood who we saw run a super placing behind Captains Mistress in The Rising Sun. he has gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead this race for a very long way.

BROOKLYN DAN (5) was excellent in the Nutrien Sales Classic final which was taken out by Hollywood Strip when getting back and finishing it off nicely into third. He draws awkwardly in this race but has shown he is capable of working in races and still being right in the finish. He should run well again.

REWATCH (8) secured a very economical run in the South East Derby when racing on the pegs he was checked by Move It Lou when that runner galloped but was able to recover well and finish third behind Maxo Mighty. He should get a good run throughout this race again on the pegs and can be running on late.

PALLADIUM (7) had very little luck last time out in The South East Derby which was taken out by Maxo Mighty. He got back in the run and was forced widest to make his run when finishing it off nicely. He looks to face a tough task from the widest draw and should run well again.

SELECTIONS: CARDIGAN DAN (1), BROOKLYN DAN (5), REWATCH (8), PALLADIUM (7)

SUGGESTED BET: CARDIGAN DAN (1) to win.

RACE 4

BETTOR BEACH (9) has had just three career starts but is prepared by the top trainer of juvenile horses in the country Emma Stewart and has shown very good ability winning two of four starts including last start when winning by a huge margin at Melton. She has a tricky draw in this race but looks a horse with a big future and should still be very hard to beat.

SPARKLING SEA (5) was seemingly a long way below her best last time out when making a wide run into it and just fading out of it late. She has shown at her best she is a high quality filly which is highlighted by the fact she has 9 wins from her 13 starts having only been defeated on four occasions. She may get a more favourable this time if she can work to the lead early and likely gets every chance to bounce back in this race.

ENOLA (1) was able to score a good win in easier company last time out when leading all the way over the 1660 at Albion Park. She has shown in the past she is capable of matching it with the better fillies and draws to get every chance in this race at an each way price.

BEACHBABE CROCKER (11) put in an excellent run last time out in the South East Oaks drawing poorly and getting back in the run before hitting the line powerfully late to finish ninth running past Sparkling Sea who is likely to be well fancied to take this race out. She was excellent in her start prior when carving out very fast time for the 2138 despite over racing badly throughout there.

SELECTIONS: BETTOR BEACH (9), SPARKLING SEA (5), ENOLA (1), BEACHBABE CROCKER (11)

SUGGESTED BET: BEACHBABE CROCKER (11) each way.

RACE 5

HEZA PUNK ROCKER (1) showed good gate speed last time out and appeared to just get a touch too keen there when finishing second. He was previously trained by Emma Stewart and looked a very promising horse scoring a Group 1 victory in the Vicbred Series for 4YO Colts and Geldings. He lands in the stable of Jason Grimson and could be a big improver.

HES NO ROMEO (8) has been in excellent form since landing in QLD. He secured an ideal run off the speed last time out in a race they went a frantic early tempo. He was able to run over the top late scoring a big win.

CATSEYE BEACH (7) was able to lead and run very well in a race taken out by Double Lou last start, a runner that then took on The Rising Sun. He draws widest but is capable of working in his races when at his best. He should run well again.

FREE THINKER (9) was able to bounce back when dropping in grade last time at Redcliffe scoring a big win and rating fast time leading all the way. He draws reasonably in this race and should secure a good run off the speed.

SELECTIONS: HEZA PUNK ROCKER (1), HES NO ROMEO (8), CATSEYE BEACH (7), FREE THINKER (9)

SUGGESTED BET: HEZA PUNK ROCKER (1) to win.

RACE 6

ALL OVER IT (2) looks a smart horse with three wins from five starts with his only unplaced run last start when terribly unlucky at Melton when badly held up for a run. He has gate speed and should be able to work to the lead in the early stages of this race. If he can find the front he will take plenty of running down.

BARSBY (6) was very unlucky to miss a run in the Derby Qualifier having run well in recent feature races without much luck at all. He drew poorly last time out in the South East Derby and was running through the line fairly late following a mid race check when his stablemate Move It Lou galloped. He should run well.

LETSSTARTINHEAVEN (8) drew poorly last time out when having his second run for the stable of Luke McCarthy hitting the line nicely late. He draws a touch better in this race following out a gate speed horse and should be running on late again.

SITTING ON EIGHT (1) burned hard to work to the lead last time out in very fast sectionals for the 2138 which set up the race ideally for Berocca Bernie. He has run well over the 2138 before and with a more economical run he should bounce back.

SELECTIONS: ALL OVER IT (2), BARSBY (6), LETSSTARTINHEAVEN (8), SITTING ON EIGHT (1)

SUGGESTED BET: ALL OVER IT (2) to win.

RACE 7

DASH DOSH (3) was terribly unlucky in The Great Square last time out. She just couldn’t quite muster enough speed to stay underneath Jilliby Dreamlover and as a result was shuffled back on the pegs early. She was searching for runs turning for home and had to checked off the winner when attempting to go up the sprint lane losing all momentum before coming again late and running through the line. She should settle close enough and can run well again.

JILLIBY DREAMLOVER (2) showed good gate speed last time out in The Great Aquare to muster through and lead before handing over to Tracy The Jet and sprinting best late to score securing a run in the Inter Dominion Grand Final should collections choose to go that way. She draws best of the main hopes this time and should run well again leading or sitting behind the leader.

I AM HELLBOUND (5) ran well last start in The Great Square after starting from a poor draw He worked around mid race to sit outside the leader and battled on strongly for fourth there. He should be able to work forward at the start of this race and may look to take up the lead. He should run well again in a similar field to last start.

CRACKERJACK (7) started from an outside back row draw last start and was shuffled back to near last in the run. He was able to run on strongly late to nab third in a race which the first two horses home were both racing on the pegs in the run. That effort backed up a good Melton win when first up in the country and he looks a trotter with a big future.

SELECTIONS: DASH DOSH (3), JILLIBY DREAMLOVER (2), I AM HELLBOUND (5), CRACKERJACK (7)

SUGGESTED BET: DASH DOSH (3) to win.

RACE 8

DREAMALITTLEDREAM (8) trialled up very impressively behind one of the country’s best mares in Eye Keep Smiling. She has been dealt a blow by a very poor draw inside the back row in this race which could make her bid for victory a touch trickier. If she can work away from the inside at the right time she should be hard to beat.

SEASIDE GLORY (3) got back to last from the outside front row draw last time out when racing first up for nearly 2 months. She is likely to have derived a lot of benefit from that outing and draws best of the main chances in this race. She may be able to lead early and has options from there.

GOLDEN SHOOZ (7) was very unlucky last time out when running second to Bubby To Base after being checked in the early stages. She draws wide this time in what is arguably a race with more depth but she is racing well enough to make her own luck and should be hard to beat again.

SWEET DIOR (9) was made to do plenty of work last time out when crossed at the start after running quick time to try and hold up before working around to the leader and just getting a touch tired late in a race won by Rocksngems. She looks set to get a much more economical run this time from a back row draw and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: DREAMALITTLEDREAM (8), SEASIDE GLORY (3), GOLDEN SHOOZ (7), SWEET DIOR (9)

SUGGESTED BET: SEASIDE GLORY (3) each way.

RACE 9

MAJORITA JUJON (7) is first up for the stable of Donny Smith in this race. She isn’t a horse that has ever been blessed with brilliant gate speed but should have the speed to find a forward position in this race and if she does she should be very hard to beat in a race she looks well graded in.

OHOKA DREAM (8) secured the ideal run leaders back two starts ago and was able to prove too good for Alta Sensation late in good time. He then had less favours in the run last time out when forced wide off the track when the speed went on. He follows a gate speed horse and looks to get an opportunity to bounce back in this race.

OUT OF EDEN (9) was held up a long way off the speed last time out in a race won by smart mare Tilly Dunnage before hitting the line nicely in behind them. She should find this race a lot easier and could be suited racing off the speed.

I OF THE HURRICANE (1) has good gate speed giving her options in this race from the good draw. She didn’t look ideally suited leading recently at this track although the winner Reds Ablaze did rate fast time.

SELECTIONS: MAJORITA JUJON (7), OHOKA DREAM (8), OUT OF EDEN (9), I OF THE HURRICANE (1)

SUGGESTED BET: MAJORITA JUJON (7) to win.
