RACE 1

MISS FROUFROU (1) should have the gate speed to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race. She was able to lead two starts ago at this track and trip when running a good placing behind Aurora Joy. She can look to go one better this time.

ROSTOVA (7) should get the ideal run through behind the likely leader Miss Froufrou. She was able to record back to back wins two and three starts ago before having less luck last time out. She looks a good chance.

GLENLEDI BOY (8) has drawn well in this race to have options in the early stages. He is racing better than his numerical form suggests and is a very capable sit sprinter at his best. He should be running on late.

COMMODORE JUJON (6) has very unlucky last time out when ducking back onto the pegs before being held up at a crucial stage. The winner Blackjack Crippa was able to come widest and pick them up in a truly run race. He has options and loves racing at this track.

SELECTIONS: MISS FROUFROU (1), ROSTOVA (7), GLENLEDI BOY (8), COMMODORE JUJON (6)

SUGGESTED BET: MISS FROUFROU (1) to win.

RACE 2

QUIK CHANGE (9) had another back row draw last time out when shuffled back a long way in the run. He loomed up strongly and ran a good second behind My Ultimate Victor who was able to control things out in front. This looks a great opportunity for Holly Chalmers to score her maiden driving victory.

HEZA MAYWYN (8) was able to secure a good run last time out when working forward and securing the 1-1 before battling away for fourth behind Barlor Heaven. He has shown when racing off the speed he has a good turn of foot and should be running on strongly late.

KERBANG (6) secured a good run three starts ago behind Judah Red when running into second late in a race the winner rated good time for the 1780. He has versatility and should be able to secure a good run off the speed in this race. He should be running on strongly.

CEDAR CREEK FALLS (7) was able to secure a good run through last time out behind My Ultimate Victor who was able to lead all the way. She should get a good run through again in this race and will be running on late.

SELECTIONS: QUIK CHANGE (9), HEZA MAYWYN (8), KERBANG (6), CEDAR CREEK FALLS (7)

SUGGESTED BET: QUIK CHANGE (9) to win.

RACE 3

WINDY HILL WALLY (1) was able to lead last time out before copping plenty of pressure through the middle of the race and just wasn’t quite able to hold off Just A Cool Dude who nabbed him right on the line. He should be able to drive through and lead again in this race and should be very hard to run down.

SWEET LAD JUJON (7) should get the ideal run through in this race behind the most likely leader. He was able to find the front three starts ago and controlled things well out in front before kicking well to score. He should get every chance.

BLACKJACK CRIPPA (6) got a long way back in the run last time out at this track when suited by a genuine tempo which allowed him to run right over the top late and score. He should get a similar run in this race and should be running on well again.

CANADIAN LASS (9) was a winner five starts ago over the 1780 when well driven to score. She gets back down to the 1780 in this race and draws to get an economical run off the speed in this race.

SELECTIONS: WINDY HILL WALLY (1), SWEET LAD JUJON (7), BLACKJACK CRIPPA (6), CANADIAN LASS (9)

SUGGESTED BET: WINDY HILL WALLY (1) to win.

RACE 4

THE REAL ROCKETMAN (1) has won 6 races over the past two seasons and all 6 of those wins have come when able to lead. He was luckless last time out when shuffled back in a race taken out by Burns Bay at Albion Park. He finds another good opportunity to lead in this race and should be very hard to run down again.

GRIGORA (7) should get the ideal run through behind the likely leader in the race. Secured a similar run five starts ago when closing strongly into second behind Smirks Lika Boss. He should be suited on the pegs and can run well again.

CAPTAIN FOXTROT (9) raced off the speed last time out and was running on well into third behind Zac Daniels at this track. He should get a good run off the speed again in this race and it looks a race which could generate a strong enough early tempo.

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (8) was a winner three starts ago when securing a good run behind the leader over the 1780 at this track in a similar type of race. She took on a stronger race last time out won by Rockin Sweet and should appreciate what appears to be a drop in grade into this race.

SELECTIONS: THE REAL ROCKETMAN (1), GRIGORA (7), CAPTAIN FOXTROT (9), SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (8)

SUGGESTED BET: THE REAL ROCKETMAN (1) to win.

RACE 5

PRINCE JOY (6) has been racing in great style and continued his good form last time out when sitting without cover and battling on strongly for second behind Rockin Sweet. This race looks easier than his latest outing and he draws the front row which should allow him to race up on the speed again. He looks hard to beat.

LITTLE SURFER GIRL (8) worked very hard last time out when left without cover at this track in a race taken out by Last Call who was able to secure the right type of run off the speed. She should get a much more economical run this time and can be running on late.

CANDYKANE (2) has good gate speed and should be able to work to the lead in the early stages of this race. She was able to work to the lead two starts ago and ran a good race there in a race which may have been a touch stronger than this one.

ROCKY LEIGH (3) was able to race up on speed two starts ago when scoring a tough win at this track sitting outside the leader. He then got back from a wide draw last time out and was running on late. He draws more favourably this time and should be close enough.

SELECTIONS: PRINCE JOY (6), LITTLE SURFER GIRL (8), CANDYKANE (2), ROCKY LEIGH (3)

SUGGESTED BET: PRINCE JOY (6) to win.

RACE 6

OPALLANE (8) drew poorly last time out and was forced to near the rear of the field in the early stages. He was running on well late when getting into fourth behind Enola. He should find this race a lot easier than his latest outing.

WILLIAMS (10) was forced to race without cover last time out at this track over the 2040 when battling away well for second behind Ourbeachgirlmaywyn. He finds an easier race here where he should be able to work around to the position outside the leader again and should be hard to beat.

JOHEMIAN (1) was able to secure the right run up the inside last time out when scoring at this track over the 2040. He steps out for his new trainer in this race Ron Sallis. He should be able to lead in the early stages before having options from there.

STAY DREAMY (7) should get a good run through in this race behind Johemian who is likely to be keen to hold a forward position. She closed off well into third late after securing a good run up on speed. She should be running on again.

SELECTIONS: OPALLANE (8), WILLIAMS (10), JOHEMIAN (1), STAY DREAMY (7)

SUGGESTED BET: OPALLANE (8) to win.

RACE 7

ILLBEWATCHING (9) has returned to form in recent outings. He was able to lead two starts ago and proved too good for them taking them all the way. He backed that up with another good run last time out when leading and running third. He draws the back row this time but finds a suitable race where he can figure in the finish again.

MALIBU DREAM (2) got a long way back from a wide draw last time out in a race taken out by the leader Our Uncle Les. She should settle much closer this time from an ideal draw and appears to find a similar type of race. She should be hard to hold out late.

THREE MACHS (10) finished the race off strongly last time out at this track when finishing second. She draws to do no work in the early stages of this race on the back row which seems to be how she is best suited in her races.

EBONY BELLE (3) secured the perfect run last time out behind Gotta Dream at Marburg when finishing second. She draws a touch awkwardly in this race but does have good gate speed and may look to press forward in the early stages.

SELECTIONS: ILLBEWATCHING (9), MALIBU DREAM (2), THREE MACHS (10), EBONY BELLE (3)

SUGGESTED BET: ILLBEWATCHING (9) to win.

RACE 8

LONGSHOT (8) trialled up nicely in a trial which was taken out by Protostar winner Havtimeamjor. He showed good ability in his first campaign and is likely to have benefited from a spell. He should be hard to beat despite the back row draw.

PRETTY WICKED (1) has the gate speed to lead in this race from a good draw. She was able to lead last time out at Marburg and took them all the way to win her maiden. She should run well again.

PERFECT LOU (7) was a big improver two starts ago running his first placing for nine starts when finishing second to Girl Power. He should get a good run through behind a gate speed horse and can run well again.

SKYFALL ROYALE (9) was the beneficiary of some early carnage last time out at Marburg with Wicked Victree making a break and checking a number of runners he landed in front and was able to lead all the way after starting inside the back row. He was able to win with authority and is likely to have derived benefit from the outing.

SELECTIONS: LONGSHOT (8), PRETTY WICKED (1), PERFECT LOU (7), SKYFALL ROYALE (9)

SUGGESTED BET: LONGSHOT (8) to win.

RACE 9

FAN THE FLAME (3) was forced to race without cover last time out in a race narrowly taken out by Zoomer Boomer at this track. She finds a race this time where she may be able to roll to the lead in the early stages of the race. If she finds the front she is likely to be very hard to beat.

LUCY RHAYNE BOW (6) got back from a wide draw last time out in a very slowly run raced which was taken out by Fit And Ready who secured the leaders back trail. She powered into it down the outside to finish a close up fifth. She remains ODM which leaves her with the widest draw in this race but has ability and still looks one of the main hopes in this race.

WANNABE ME (2) was able to secure the leaders back trail behind Zoomer Boomer last start and battled away well enough for third there. She may be able to find the pegs first and could then look to adopt similar tactics to last start sitting behind one of the fancied runners in the run.

DIVITO (8) trialled up fairly behind stablemate and recent Protostar winner Havtimemajor. He is likely to have derived good benefit from his recent outing at trials and should run well on debut.

SELECTIONS: FAN THE FLAME (3), LUCY RHAYNE BOW (6), WANNABE ME (2), DIVITO (8)

SUGGESTED BET: FAN THE FLAME (3) to win.

RACE 10

USUAL SUSPECT (4) didn’t have much luck in his first two race outings when wide on both occasions in Victoria. He showed just moderate gate speed in this outings but does have the draw advantage on his main rivals in this race and may look to hold that in the early stages. He trialled up smartly recently when running through the line well late behind Parisian Hustler.

SERGENTMAJOR JUJON (8) made a break last time out when first up for his new stable. He was able to recover from the early break nicely after losing plenty of ground at the start. He draws the back row this time and can be driven a number of ways.

MAYWYN VALENTINO (7) may not be suited by the inside back row draw having began slowly from gate one two starts ago. He ran on strongly last time out in a race taken out by Saint Maharg at this track over the 2040. He should run well again.

DISEMBARK (2) has been completely luckless in recent outings running into trouble on each occasion. He sat without cover four starts ago and was able to run a good third there.

SELECTIONS: USUAL SUSPECT (4), SERGENTMAJOR JUJON (8), MAYWYN VALENTINO (7), DISEMBARK (2)

SUGGESTED BET: USUAL SUSPECT (4) to win.
