Form Analysis: Redcliffe July 22

RACE 1 

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (1) should have the speed to drive through and lead in the early stages of the race and lead them up which is a position he loves to race in. He was able to lead last time out and took them all the way at this track beating Quick Change. He can run well again. 

THE LUVBUG (7) should get a good run through behind the likely leader in the early stages of this race. He is racing better than his numerical form suggests and could be a horse that improves racing on the pegs in this race. 

THE RIZZLER (10) finished midfield last time out in a race taken out by Ohoka Dream at Albion Park. He draws poorly but should be suited racing off the speed and coming with one run late. 

WINDY HILL WALLY (3) is seemingly racing in great form at the moment and just can’t quite get enough favours in the run to win his last two starts. He led last time out and was taken on throughout by a horse which was well beaten while he finished a close up second behind Blackjack Crippa who has been in good form himself. He should race up on speed and can run well again.

RACE 2 

BEACHRIDE (1) should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race. He finds himself racing in much easier company than a lot of his recent outings and draws well through the preferential draw on last 4 starts dollars earned. He has been drawing poorly and getting a long way back in recent outings. He looks hard to beat. 

GREAT WHITE (7) should get a good run through early behind the likely leader in the race. He was able to secure a similar type of run last campaign when sitting on the back of Amami and running past him late. He should be hard to hold out.

COMMODORE JUJON (8) appeared to be ideally suited by the genuine tempo last time out when running over the top late and rating good time winning. He draws well in this race to have options and should run well again. 

CALLING BUDDY (4) started from an awkward draw on the back row last time out when shuffled back a long way before finishing strongly into second late behind Reds Ablaze. This looks considerably easier but he does draw awkwardly.

SUGGESTED BET: BEACHRIDE (1) to win. 

RACE 3

LITTLE SURFER GIRL (1) was able to lead three starts ago and scored a big win leading all the way beating Rockin Sweet who went on to win his next start. She should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages and should be very hard to run down again. 

PRINCE JOY (7) should get a good run through behind LITTLE SURFER GIRL (1) who appears the most likely leader in the race. He sat without cover two starts ago and was very good behind Rockin Sweet. He should get the right run. 

DOCTA FEELGOOD (5) was able to battle on well enough when sitting outside of Art Jester and finishing fourth. He appears well graded but the draw does look to hurt his chances given he likes to race up on speed. 

QUIK CHANGE (6) has been racing in good form in recent outings. He made an early move wider on the track last time out and just couldn’t quite sustain the run when fading late into fourth. He might appreciate the step back in trip and a genuine early tempo.

RACE 4 

STILLYOURSHOT (5) got a long way back in the run last time out and was running through the line well in a race taken out by Jive Master over Dragon who were leading and outside the leader. He draws awkwardly but appears to find an easier race and looks well suited. 

COPPERFIELD (7) ran on well enough last time out after racing off the speed in a race taken out by Belmer Betty. He draws awkwardly inside the back row but does appear quite well graded in this race. 

GRIGORA (2) has gate speed and may look for the early lead in this race. He was a good winner last time out after racing on the pegs through the race. He should run well. 

MACS A DUDE (8) had a tough run last time out when 3 wide for a large portion of the race. He put in a run two starts ago which suggested he might be getting back into some of his better form when running on well into third behind Diego Delgado.

SUGGESTED BET: MACS A DUDE (8) each way. 

RACE 5

OUR LUCY LOU (3) seems to love controlling her races out in front and was able to do that four starts ago when leading all the way at this track when winning easily. She has drawn well in this race and could look to press onto the lead again. If she can find the front she should run well. 

NITRATOR (7) wasn’t suited last time out when sitting outside the leader over racing and fading out of it late. The inside back row draw does potentially look a bit tricky in this race if he gets keen again. If he is able to settle he should run a much better race this time. 

FIGHT FOR VICTORY (9) seems to be racing below his brilliant best in recent outings. He got back in the run last time out and ran on late into fourth behind Ourbeachgirlmaywyn. He looks suited in this field and has claims again. 

OPALLANE (5) loomed into the race powerfully last time out before Williams was able to rally back to take the lead and outstay OPPALANE (5) in the concluding stages. He is likely to be shuffled back early and can be running on late.

SUGGESTED BET: OUR LUCY LOU (3) to win. 

RACE 6 

ART OF ROCK (1) has just moderate numerical form but seems to be building following a recent spell. He got back in the run last time out and ran into fourth behind Captain Oh Captain. He has seemingly run some of his better races in front or behind the leader and should get the right run in this race. 

MILLIONDOLLARKISS (7) led three starts ago and was able to prove too good there when leading all the way which followed a good trial effort. She has since raced without luck and has been well beaten. She gets a draw to land on the rails and should run well. 

SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (8) worked to the lead last time out and was able to run well finishing third behind Grigora who had a good run behind the speed on the pegs. He has options from a good back row draw and should run well. 

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (10) ran on strongly into second behind Grigora last time out. She should get a good run off the speed and should be running on late.

RACE 7

OYSTER STRIDE (1) should have the speed to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race. He usually does his best work when able to find the front in races and loves racing at this track. He usually prefers the mile and gets things to suit in this race. 

TACKAS LAST DANCE (3) should get a good run off the speed in this race where she is having her first start for the stable of David Stewart. She loves racing at this track and trip and should run well again. 

DOOO DONT THINK (5) runs a lot of placings in his races but does struggle to win. He has run 9 placings at this track from 31 starts but hasn’t been able to win one yet. He should get back and can be running on late. 

CONNIES SPIRIT (7) worked to get across last time out before handing over and battling away just fairly to finish third. She is likely racing a touch below her best but appears likely to get a suitable run in the race.

SUGGESTED BET: OYSTER STRIDE (1) to win. 

RACE 8

USUAL SUSPECT (2) impressed first up in QLD last time out when sitting without cover proving too good when also rating fast enough time for the grade. He may be able to work to the lead this time and should prove hard to beat out in front. 

THATS CLASSIC (3) was able to score a good win last time out when working off the pegs at the right time to apply enough pressure to beat My Ultimate Jed who was the short priced favourite in the race. 

PERFECT LOU (1) has been able to bounce back into some better form in recent outings when driven with a sit. He was able to secure a good run behind the speed last time out and finished it off well behind Awholelottahappy. This race looks a touch stronger but he does draw favourably. 

SAFETOSAYIMFANCY (7) ran well enough last time out at this track when finishing sixth first up from a spell. She should secure a good run on the pegs and can be running into it late.

SUGGESTED BET: USUAL SUSPECT (2) to win. 

RACE 9

HARRY THE HAT (6) was very impressive last time out when sitting without cover and battling on for a clear second behind Straddie Babe. He draws wide but should be able to work up on speed and should be very hard to beat in this race. 

BETTORS APPEAL (4) was running on well late last start in a race taken out by Straddie Babe at Albion Park to finish third having raced off the pegs. She may struggle to beat HARRY THE HAT (6) but appear to have strong place claims. 

WALK WITH ELEGANCE (2) didn’t have the best of luck last time out when racing on the pegs and being dragged out of it by a tiring runner before appearing to run through the line well late. She is likely to have derived benefit from his two first up outings and should run well.

SOCIAL OUTING (8) drew poorly two starts ago and was running on strongly late into fourth. Should secure a good run off the speed and can be running on again.
