Form Analysis: Redcliffe July 24

RACE 1 

NAUTIE GALVINATOR (1) should have the gate speed to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race. He hit the line powerfully late last start after racing on the pegs and running into second behind Rosies Boy. He should be hard to run down.

MISS BAY KING COLE (7) should get a good run through in this race behind the likely leader. She secured a good run and wasn’t beaten too far by Little Hoofananny at this track. She should get every chance from a favourable draw. 

ROLL TO THE TOP (10) was shuffled a long way back on the pegs from a wide draw and was finishing it off powerfully when using inside runs to get into second behind Vinnie Nitro. She lands in the stable of Gemma Hewitt and should run well again. 

JIVE MASTER (6) was able to find the front recently at this track and took them all the way beating Dragon who was forced to sit outside him. He draws poorly this time but is racing well enough to figure with the right run.

RACE 2 

THE TIGER ARMY (8) got back in the run two starts ago and was running on late into second behind Diego Delgado. He should get a good run off the speed again in this race and will be running into it late. 

ITS BACK PAGE NEWS (9) was forced to sit without cover last time out and ran well for second behind Erasmus who was able to lead all the way. She seems to be improving with each run and looks ready to win. 

PERFECT FEELING (7) draws a touch awkwardly inside the back row and will need gaps to appear at the right time to figure in the finish. He was able to lead last time out and ran well finishing second to Bettys Gold Class. 

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (10) was able to score a good win last time out having been building towards a win with some good form prior to her last start including a good third at Albion Park after working early. She may get back in the run early and could be running on late.

RACE 3

TILLY JAYNE (6) is a huge class dropper into this race having taken on much stronger company in recent outings. She was able to work to the front four starts ago at Marburg and proved too good there for Kuzma. She should run well despite the outside front row draw. 

LITTLELIIONELJAMES (1) is a horse that just loves to get out in front over the mile and appears likely to get that opportunity in this race. He hasn’t won since late April when leading all the way at Albion Park beating Western Bill. He has scored 9 wins at this track and seems to like racing here. 

MY PURPLE PATCH (7) hasn’t won in two and a half years but looks to find a good opportunity to bounce back in this race. He ran on strongly three starts ago into third behind Tilly Jayne at Marburg. He can run into it late again. 

UCANCALLME AL (8) has been in excellent form in recent outings. He was able to score a good win rating fast time for the last half of 56.2 over the 2040 at this track. He draws the back row but has options and should be running on well.

RACE 4 

QILIN (1) has gate speed and can likely drive through early and hold the lead. He led three starts ago and was just run down late by Mack Attach who has since won again. He should be hard to run down.

VIENNA OPERA (7) should get a good run through behind the likely leader in the race. She led last start and appeared to have her chance there when run down late by Toro Loco. She may be better suited in this race with a sit. 

TORO LOCO (6) was able to break through last time out when sitting off the speed and running over the top late to beat OHOKAREDROBINJUJON (5) and VIENNA OPERA (7). He is likely to be shuffled back a long way in this race from a wide draw but should be running on late again. 

REAL MIKI (3) started the short priced favourite last time out and didn’t seem to go to his best there when missing the placings behind Francs For Coming. He should settle close enough from a good draw and can bounce back. 

SELECTIONS: QILIN (1), VIENNA OPERA (7), TORO LOCO (6), REAL MIKI (3)

SUGGESTED BET: QILIN (1) to win. 

RACE 5

BEACH MAGIC (4) sat without cover last time out and was able to run into a good second there having done the work. He should be able to find a prominent position up on speed again in this race from a favourable front row draw. 

GALVARINO (7) was able to lead last time out and proved a touch too good for Downtown Manhattan at this track and trip. He should get a good run through behind a horse likely to be keen to hold a forward position and should run well from there. 

THREE CHORD RIFF (2) has drawn very well in this race to get a good run close enough in the running line. She was good last time out when racing over the 2138 at Albion Park finishing fifth behind Goodoldboysandbeers. She should be running on again. 

JILLIBY PANDA (1) showed good gate speed last start lead easily but was forced to run some quick sectionals and just found two better late. He has the speed to lead again initially in this race and will have options from there.

SUGGESTED BET: BEACH MAGIC (4) to win. 

RACE 6 

SAINT MAHARG (7) was able to sit without cover last time out and drove hard to score there late. He looks set to get the ideal run through in the early stages of this race behind the likely leader FLORAS FOLLY (1). He should be very hard to hold out late again. 

LOSTANDFOUND (4) is a horse that seems to love running lots of placings but has struggled to win having recorded 9 placings and 2 wins so far in his career. He was very unlucky last time out when being badly held up for a run at a crucial stage of the race. He can break through with a touch more luck this time. 

MAJOR ORION (6) started favourite last time out when shuffled back early before running on well into third behind Champagne Walsh and Threentwo. He draws widest on the front row this time and will need to do some work or could be shuffled back to last in the run. 

FLORAS FOLLY (1) was able to show the speed to drive through and lead last time out at this track and was just run down late finishing third to SAINT MAHARG (7). She has the good gate again in this race and can look to utilise that again.

SUGGESTED BET: LOSTANDFOUND (4) to win. 

RACE 7

MIGHTY IDEAL (4) sat without cover last time out at this track and battled on well for third behind Ideal Pursuit and Wicked Berries. He should have the speed to find a prominent position in this race and if he was able to lead he would likely be very hard to run down. 

OUR ANGELS ENVY (8) started a short priced favourite last time out at this track when beaten a long way by Ranger Ron. She did cop a flat tyre in that race which is likely to have severely impeded her chances. She can bounce back.

TELLMEABOUTIT (9) sat leaders back and was able to run a solid second behind Ranger Ron in reasonable time for the grade. He draws outside the back row this time which appears to make things tougher. 

JUSTANOTHER TORQUE (5) was shuffled back last time out and ran on fairly late in a race taken out by Jovial Jodi at this track. The draw doesn’t help again in this race and she may be shuffled back again from another awkward draw.

SUGGESTED BET: MIGHTY IDEAL (4) to win. 

RACE 8

GO MINNIE (3) was seemingly a touch disappointing last time out when finding the front comfortably enough before controlling things and fading late into third behind Orion Art. She draws the front row this time and should be able to get across to the lead. Her best efforts are good enough to take out a race of this nature and she may have needed that last start run having not started since late May.

LONG AWAITED (2) drew poorly last time out at Albion Park and was shuffled a long way back in a race dominated by horses up on speed. She draws much better in this race and looks to be dropping a long way in class. Her gate speed is somewhat of an unknown. 

SERGENTMAJOR JUJON (6) has seemingly struggled with his gait a touch in recent outings which has proved costly. He draws outside the front row as a result of being ODM and will need to bring better manners in this race to be a chance. 

TEQUILASUNRISE (7) was able to hold the lead last time out from a good draw and rated good time in defeat behind Usual Suspect. She draws awkwardly inside the back row this time and will need luck to get into the clear at the right time.
