RACE 1

SWEET AGENDA (10) ran a much better race last start after taking a sit on Free Thinker who scored a dominant win. She draws to get a good run off the speed in this race and can be running on late.

ROCK NIEN (7) secured a good run last start behind the speed and just couldn’t quite finish the race off when fading into fourth late. He had been in good form this time in and should secure an economical run again in this race.

SPLASH OF PAYNT (3) led last time out and over raced badly there when setting a strong tempo out in front and just getting a touch tired late into second but was certainly entitled to having set the strong tempo he did. He can look to press forward again in this race but may not be ideally suited to the step up to 2040.

TIGER SHIRL (1) has good gate speed which gives her options from the good draw. She was able to sit without cover at Marburg last start and proved too good. This is a huge step up in grade but she has been able to run good time on the pegs and may get a good run behind a horse like Splash Of Paynt.

SELECTIONS: SWEET AGENDA (10), ROCK NIEN (7), SPLASH OF PAYNT (3), TIGER SHIRL (1)

SUGGESTED BET: ROCK NIEN (7) each way.

RACE 2

WILLIES DOLLAR (2) worked hard last start outside the leader when pouring on the pressure before forging to the front and getting very tired late when fading into fourth. If he can muster enough speed early to drive through and lead he should be hard to beat in this race.

REAL TIN TIN (8) secured a good run 1 out 1 back last start at this track and couldn’t quite run down Art Jester who had a good run out in front. He should get a good run through early on a horse likely to be keen to hold a forward position and he should run well again.

ASHLEE NITRO (1) is the Queen of Redcliffe and just continues to race well. She sat leaders back last time out and ran well behind Jaccka Cooper who came from off the speed and had momentum down the outside. She should run well again from the good draw.

PRINCE JOY (3) sat without cover two starts ago and battled on nicely behind Dusty Muster. He should be able to find a position up on speed in this race again and looks another race he has claims in.

SELECTIONS: WILLIES DOLLAR (2), REAL TIN TIN (8), ASHLEE NITRO (1), PRINCE JOY (3)

SUGGESTED BET: ASHLEE NITRO (1) to place.

RACE 3

LITTLE HOOFANANNY (2) ran a good second to Keayang Moscato at Albion Park two starts ago over the 1660. She should settle close enough from a good draw. If she could find the front she’d be very hard to run down.

MAYWYN TROUBADOUR (5) sat without cover last start and ran a very good race finishing second to Art Jester who has been in good form. He is versatile and could be saved up for one run or put into the race.

ART JESTER (7) has bounced back to somewhere near his best in recent outings. He is looking for a hat-trick of wins in this race having led all the way last start over the 2040 at this track. He will be hoping Bettys Gold Class elects to hold the lead early which would give him a great chance of running on past them late.

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (1) showed her customary gate speed last start to find the front before handing over to Roseanne Ruby and running on strongly late into the placings. She draws best in this race and can lead before having options from there.

SELECTIONS: LITTLE HOOFANANNY (2), MAYWYN TROUBADOUR (5), ART JESTER (7), BETTYS GOLD CLASS (1)

SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN TROUBADOUR (5) each way.

RACE 4

GIDUP CAPTAIN (1) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead before having options from there. He raced without luck last time out when running up behind them with nowhere to go before finishing it off well once he got into the clear.

SNIP OF BEAUTY (7) should get a good run through behind a gate speed horse in this race. Ran through the line well in a race taken out by Fifty Three Stars last start at this track. She should get every chance from a good draw.

DIEGO DELGADO (10) has returned to form in recent outings. He led three starts ago before making a break in the home straight which very likely cost him victory in that race. He should run well again.

JIMMY BLING (8) found the front two starts ago at Albion Park and was able to take them all the way beating Malibu Dream. He should secure a good run in this race from a soft trailing draw.

SELECTIONS: GIDUP CAPTAIN (1), SNIP OF BEAUTY (7), DIEGO DELGADO (10), JIMMY BLING (8)

SUGGESTED BET: SNIP OF BEAUTY (7) each way.

RACE 5

FOURTY ONE GEE (1) scored a nice win last start when taking a sit on Red Bull Bernie before running him down late over the 2138. He should be able to drive through and lead this race in the early stages which should see him hard to beat in what is seemingly a drop in grade.

MISS SYRAH (7) comes into this race first up from a spell without a trial which appears a query. She was excellent last time in running a number of good races including back to back wins in March. She appears likely to get a great run in the race.

JEFFCOATE (3) ran well last start in a strong race taken out by Art Jester over the 2040 at this track. He should secure a good run in this race close enough to the speed and can be running into it late.

LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (4) had over a month between runs his latest outing and may have needed the run there when finishing sixth after making a break in the run. He looks very well suited in this company and should be able to make his own luck up on speed.

SELECTIONS: FOURTY ONE GEE (1), MISS SYRAH (7), JEFFCOATE (3), LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (4)

SUGGESTED BET: FOURTY ONE GEE (1) to win.

RACE 6

MAJOR MISCHIEF (2) was left without cover last start at Marburg when beaten by Beyonski. He may be able to work to the front in this race which would likely see him hard to beat the way he’s been racing when left to do the work outside the leader.

BEACH MAGIC (8) got very keen last start when seemingly pulling himself into the ground over the 2040 and incredibly despite how hard he pulled managing to run a close up second to Miss Hattie. The step back to the 1780 appears suitable on paper and he should run well again.

SHADYS DELIGHT (9) should get a good run off the speed in this race from the soft trailing draw. He has run three consecutive third placings in his last three starts including a good third last start when running on well at this track.

GHOST TRAIN (1) secured a good run on the pegs having done no work in the race at Marburg and just couldn’t find a passage clear when running fourth. He seems to be best suited when driven that way at this stage of his career and should get a similar run in this race.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR MISCHIEF (2), BEACH MAGIC (8), SHADYS DELIGHT (9), GHOST TRAIN (1)

SUGGESTED BET: BEACH MAGIC (8) to win.

RACE 7

MAGIC JUJON (1) lands in the powerful stable of Donny Smith. She is always a horse that has shown good ability including a win in a Redcliffe sales race as a 2YO when sitting close to the speed. She is likely to lead and is set to be very hard to run down.

MY ULTIMATE ZANDER (7) bounced back to form last start when running over the top of Lostandfound. He comes into this race fourth up from a spell and is likely very close to peak fitness. He should get a great run through behind the likely leader and can be dangerous late.

CALL IT BLING (8) had a very tough trip last time out at Albion Park when left without cover in a race the leader Beachbabe Crocker got charging and carved out some flying times in front for the grade. He looks set to get a much easier run in this race and looks to have strong place claims.

LOWER WEST SIDE (3) scored a good win two starts ago when sitting without cover at this track and proving too good for Our Angels Envy. He looks to draw awkwardly in this race and may be forced to race without cover which could be tough in this company.

SELECTIONS: MAGIC JUJON (1), MY ULTIMATE ZANDER (7), CALL IT BLING (8), LOWER WEST SIDE (3)

SUGGESTED BET: MAGIC JUJON (1) to win.

RACE 8

GIRL POWER (6) has gate speed and should be able to work to the front in this race with lesser horses drawn to her inside. She ran well first up from a spell last start when getting back and running on well into fifth behind Bennydasook.

DARK AND HANDSOME (9) showed good ability in South Australia and is seemingly much better than his record of 1 win in 17 starts suggests. He looks suited in this field and can be running into it late.

PICCOLO DIAVOLO (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race behind a horse unlikely to be favoured in the race. He was shuffled back early last time out and didn’t have the best of luck in running there.

ONLY ONE REASON (10) won an unusually run trial where the leader took off early before coming back to them late. He has had a few issues pacing at various stages of races since landing in QLD but has shown ability.

SELECTIONS: GIRL POWER (6), DARK AND HANDSOME (9), PICCOLO DIAVOLO (7), ONLY ONE REASON (10)

SUGGESTED BET: GIRL POWER (6) to win.

RACE 9

TORO LOCO (8) looks to be incredibly well graded in this race. He contested much stronger races last time in and raced without a huge amount of luck for a large part of his campaign. He should be very hard to hold out.

GOOD LOOKING JUJON (3) secured a good run close to the speed last time out and wasn’t beaten far by Johemian. She has good gate speed and may look to press forward and lead in the early stages.

BAM BAM BROOK (6) was forced to do plenty of work last time out over the 2040 when sitting without cover and battling away well to not be beaten far. He may appreciate the step back to 1780 but could be left to do the work again from a wide gate.

DESIGNER JEWEL (7) is awkwardly drawn in this race following out a horse that is unlikely to be favoured in this race. She closed off strongly late last start behind Johemian and can look to do the same again in this race.

SELECTIONS: TORO LOCO (8), GOOD LOOKING JUJON (3), BAM BAM BROOK (6), DESIGNER JEWEL (7)

SUGGESTED BET: TORO LOCO (8) to win.

RACE 10

BOSTON CHIEF (1) showed good ability in his first campaign when leading and winning a heat of the 2YO Breeders classic before running an excellent race in the final. He hasn’t quite been able to recapture that form so far this time in but did go a touch better last time out. He may be better out in front and can bounce back.

LOSTANDFOUND (3) was left without cover last start and ran a super race when not being beaten far by a horse that secured a great run off the speed in My Ultimate Zander. He may be left to do the work again in this race and should run well again.

WHERES MY BLING (7) took a trail on the back of Iam Hugo after repelling the early challenge of Lostandfound and did well to navigate a passage away from the inside when that runner gave ground a long way from home. She should get a good run through behind the likely leader in the race.

CALL KELLY (6) trialled up just moderately recently at Albion Park when crossing the line alongside Surprise Baby in a trial taken out by Always B Cool. She showed last time in she has plenty of ability and if she can improve her manners a touch she is likely to win plenty of races.

SELECTIONS: BOSTON CHIEF (1),LOSTANDFOUND (3), WHERES MY BLING (7), CALL KELLY (6)

SUGGESTED BET: BOSTON CHIEF (1) to win.
