Queensland finalists confirmed for 2027 QOTT Cup Final
The Queensland finalists for next year’s Queensland Off-The-Track Cup Final have been confirmed.
The fourth annual Final will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2027 at Doug Jennings Park on the Gold Coast as part of the Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping.
The QOTT Queensland qualifier, held late last month in Caboolture at the Peachester Lodge Festival of Showjumping, attracted a strong field of 30 competitors.
Congratulations to the following talented partnerships that have qualified to compete at the 2027 QOTT Cup Final:
- Makaylah Fenwick - The Garret
- James Hosie - Miss Allykat
- Clem Smith - Where's Cameron
- Kaiyana Fullarton - Asllani
- Tim Trihey - Radish J
- Emily Patterson - Star Struck
- Marijke Hartman - Simply Ollie Ooba
- Hugh Buchanan - Its Bandito
- Maddison Herd - Foxhill Kaypers
- Jessica Fedrick - Haradify
Makaylah Fenwick will be looking to take out the QOTT Cup Final for a second time, having claimed the 2025 prize aboard Rainbow Man.
She will saddle up on The Garret, a 14-year-old thoroughbred by Manhattan Rain and bred by Glentree Downs Pastoral.
“It feels amazing, I don’t even know how to put it into words,” Makaylah said post-event.
“I’m just so excited to head up to Magic Millions next year and to compete on The Garret.
“The competition’s definitely going to be a lot more tougher this year, there’s a lot more thoroughbreds coming through which is really good.”
Three more interstate qualifiers will be held in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales with dates and locations to be confirmed.
The $100,000 Queensland Off-The-Track Cup Final will be held as part of the ultimate day of equestrian sport – the Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping.
Included in the line-up for 2027 will be the Juniors Individual Showjumping and the Seniors Team Showjumping combined with a thrilling afternoon of Polo.
In 2026, it was Olivia Rolfe and Blue Flame who took out the QOTT Cup Final.
