Form Analysis: Albion Park 11

RACE 1 

HUNT FOR GLORY (4) was excellent in a recent trial when rating fast time out 1.53.5 at this track for the mile rate beating Dove Lake. He has good gate speed and will likely look to find a prominent position early from a good draw. 

CATTLECALL (1) won nicely two starts ago when leading all the way at this track rating good time. He should get a good run again from the ideal draw and looks a strong place chance in this race. 

DANCINWITHPLEASURE (3) ran well on debut last time out at Newcastle when left without cover battling away well for a dead heat second. He should settle close to the speed in this race from a good draw and is likely to have derived good benefit from his first race start. 

LOTS OF HEART (5) drew poorly in the Paleface Adios last time out and was well beaten as a result in a race taken out by Jacwill Kid. He has had over a month since that most recent outing and finds what may be a slightly easier race.

RACE 2 

MACKENZIE REG (2) was forced to do it tough outside the leader last time out and just proved too good there scoring a nice win. She draws well this time and has reasonable gate speed. If she could work to the top early she would likely be hard to run down. 

WANNABE ME (1) has been racing well in recent outings including two starts ago when handing over to Cattlecall before running a good second to that horse. She has the speed to lead before having options from there. 

LUCY RHAYNE BOW (8) secured a good run close to the speed last time out and was able to sprint nicely to beat Lucy Rhayne Bow. She draws the back row but is the only horse on the back row which gives her options. 

LONG AWAITED (3) broke through for a nice win last time out at Redcliffe when sitting without cover and holding off all challengers late. She is likely to be able to find a prominent position again in this race from a good draw.

RACE 3

REBECCA RHAYNE BOW (5) sat without cover two starts ago and was able to score a good win rating fast time there. She draws wide but should be able to press forward and if she found the front she would likely be very hard to beat. 

CRUSEY (1) scored nicely when first up from a spell at this track moving up first over and holding off Sweet Leah Jane. That horse was then able to turn the tables in the final of that series when leading with Crusey making good late ground but just wasn’t quite able to reel in the winner. 

STRADDIE BABE (9) led two starts ago and was able to run nicely beating Harry The Hat who has since won. She then led last time out and was just run down late. She has good speed and may be suited doing no work early on the back row. 

BETTORS APPEAL (8) was able to secure a good run last time out close to the speed and just faded late into fifth in a race taken out by Harry The Hat. She should secure a good run through early behind the potential leader and looks likely to get every chance.

RACE 4 

RAFFIE JAY (7) looks a big class dropper in this race having taken on the Stellar Square before taking on The Great Square which was won by Jilliby Dreamlover. She draws widest in this race but appears to have a class edge on her rivals in this race. 

ICONIC IMAGE (11) faced a 30 metre handicap last time out and was very good there when finishing just 3.5 metres off the winner KICKING HORSE (4) who had started off the front. He should appreciate starting on equal terms off the mobile and looks a strong place chance. 

KICKING HORSE (4) made the most of a favourable handicap last time out when stepping to the lead early before taking them all the way. He was first up from a spell there and is likely to be better for the run. 

SECOND TO NUN (3) led early last time out before taking a trail and was running on nicely late into fourth behind smart trotter Squamish. She is likely to have derived good benefit from the first up outing.

RACE 5

HARPER DELIGHT (2) has very good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead this race. She comes into this first up from a spell and has been trialling nicely. If she can hold the lead she is likely to be hard to run down. 

MULLUM SHOWGIRL (4) trialled up promisingly ahead of debuting before putting in a very good run on debut when getting a good run off the speed before closing strongly late to finish close up behind Barracuda. 

SWEET LEAH JANE (8) was able to hold the lead early last time out and scored nicely beating Crusey rating good time. She is likely to get a good run off the speed in this race and if the race is run to suit she should be running on well. 

FIT AND READY (5) has made a promising start to her career having run two good placings before breaking through for a nice win last time out when racing behind Matt Dan before sprinting best to score. She should run well again.

RACE 6 

OH ITS ON (7) burned hard early last time out before getting across and was able to take them all the way rating brilliant time. Given how impressive he was last time out its likely he should be able to work across to the lead again in this race and should take them all the way. 

KISS THE CAPTAIN (9) worked hard early last time out before eventually handing over to OH ITS ON (7). He ran well in defeat rating good time in second and he is likely to have derived plenty of benefit from his latest outing. 

MULLUM SIZZLE (4) got back in the run on debut before finishing it off nicely into second at Newcastle. He backed that up with another good run when finishing it off strongly again. He should run well. 

BLACKJACK SAM (1) was first up from a spell last time out when getting back in the run before finishing it off well into fifth behind Mackenzie Reg. he draws well this time and should be able to settle closer in the run.

RACE 7

SHINE LIKE ME (3) has good gate speed and should be able to work to the front in the early stages of this race. She found the front in the QBRED Breeders Classic last time out and was able to take them all the way winning nicely. 

CHERRY SURPRISE (1) was well beaten in a recent trial but did appear to run through the line nicely there and is likely to have derived good benefit from the outing. She should secure a good run from an ideal draw. She is well related and can run well on debut. 

FEELING HAPPY (6) was also well beaten in a recent trial but appeared to run through the line nicely late. She draws poorly but should run well on debut. 

AUNTY MEL (8) had excuses last time out when doing some work and being well beaten. She ran a good race her start prior when leading and not being beaten far. She can look to bounce back.

RACE 8

UNCLE TONY (5) was an impressive winner last time out when taking a sit on Lulu Mae before sprinting past her late to score and rate fast time. He draws well favourably this time but could look to press forward and obtain cover and should be hard to beat. 

MARTIN MAGIC (3) has very good gate speed and should be able to work across to the lead early before having options. He ran a good race out in front last time out when third behind Western Arterra and may be suited stepping back in trip. 

NEXT TO ME (1) ran well last time out when securing a good run off the speed before finishing it off nicely into third. He has good gate speed and can look to come out early before having options from here. 

BETTERTHANFEDERER (9) was suited last time out by a genuine mid race tempo when he was able to sprint up nicely and score a good win over the 2138. He finds another race where there could be a genuine tempo and he can be running on late again.

RACE 9

SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (2) has good gate speed and may look to press forward early and look for a prominent position in the run. He was shuffled back last time out before sprinting strongly to run third behind Shez A Warrior. 

PINKCHAMPAGNE (5) had very little luck recently when shuffled back on the pegs at this track before flashing home to score a nice win. She draws less favourably in this race but finds a similar field and should be hard to hold out again. 

MONOPOLLIE (1) has been a long way off his best in recent outings including last time out when sitting up on speed and tiring badly to finish 43 metres from the winner. He led in his start prior and was well beaten there. He may be driven with a sit this time and could be an improver. 

THE REAL ROCKETMAN (8) should get a good run behind the speed in this race and will be relying on the gaps opening up at the right time to get into the clear. He was very good when not beaten far in second two starts ago at this track.

RACE 10

SAVAGE SEAS (7) was an upset winner of the QBRED Breeders Classic Final when starting big odds before securing a great run and powering over the top of them late. He looks a talented horse that is likely to have derived benefit from his recent break. He should be hard to beat. 

DOUBLEFAULT (9) secured a good run two starts ago when finishing a close up second to Maywyn Son Of Lou. He then had less favours in the run last time when wide on the track while the speed was on. He can bounce back. 

IMASILLYBILLY (1) is debuting for the successful combination of Alex Ashwood and Jason Grimson who had plenty of success recently through the QLD carnival. He should secure the right type of run from a good draw and can be hard to beat. 

UNJUST ENRICHMENT (2) was a winner four starts ago when showing good gate speed to lead before taking them all the way at Newcastle. He draws favourably and can settle close in the run.

RACE 11

MAYWYN SON OF LOU (2) was able to hold the lead early last time out before running along and drew right away from his rivals late to score by 17.4 metres rating a fast 1.53.3 mile rate. He has good gate speed and should be able to lead again in this race. 

BET HES SWEET (3) secured a good run in a recent trial and was finishing it off reasonably late behind stablemate Hunt For Glory when finishing a distant third. He was very impressive when winning two starts ago showing great speed to pick up the leader in the race.

JOVIAL JIM (1) draws ideally and should get a good run just behind the speed in this race. He returned from a spell nicely last time out when finishing third behind Mackenzie Reg. 

HEAD RUSH (6) was left without cover last time out at Redcliffe and was the beneficiary of the leader giving ground after having an issue in the run. He draws awkwardly and may get back this time and can be running on late.
