Form Analysis: Albion Park August 8

RACE 1 

LOCHINVAR CAMARO (3) has excellent gate speed and draws well in this race. CHEER LEADER (1) has often elected to hand over in her races which could see LOCHINVAR CAMARO (3) working to the front in this race. He was forced to race without cover last time out and battled on well to be beaten 9.7 metres behind Always Dancing. 

CHEER LEADER (1) has the good draw in this race and has enough gate speed to have options early. She may lead before potentially looking to sit on something and should get the last shot at them late. She ran a very good fourth last time out behind Golden Fire and comes into this race third up from a spell. 

BRAVENTREACHEROUS (7) has brilliant gate speed but did make a break last time out and finds himself ODM as a result in this race. He has very high speed and could figure in this race driven a number of ways.

MAJOR CRUNCH (10) got a good run on the pegs behind the speed last time out and was flashing into it late running second behind Rakasandy who rated fast time out in front. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and will just be relying on a genuine tempo to bring him into the race.

RACE 2 

MY ULTIMATE COSSIE (2) showed no gate speed at all two starts ago when drawing gate 1 before working off the pegs and still running a good third. He may be better suited in this race being drawn between horses and will likely be looking to hustle through and hold a forward position. 

IMPERIAL NIGHT (3) secured a good run close to the speed last start and ran well in a race which became a dash to the line taken out by Miki B. He draws well again in this race and should settle close enough. He should be hard to beat.

JUST A COOL DUDE (8) should get a reasonable run through early in this race on the back of a horse which is likely to be keen to hold a forward position in the race. He got back in the run last time out and was running home late into fifth in a race which became a dash home. 

BLACKJACK CRIPPA (12) draws outside the back row in this race which appears to make things tricky for him in this race. He raced off the pegs last time out and finished sixth but the first five horses home there all raced on the pegs in the run. If the race is run upside down he can be running on late.

RACE 3

HEZA PUNK ROCKER (2) has been dominant since landing in the stable of Jason Grimson scoring three wins from four starts. He was seemingly a touch below his brilliant best when running third behind Hes No Romeo and Jungle Dragon but bounced back strongly last start when leading and dominating over the 2138 beating Jungle Dragon and rating fast time. 

FERNCO NEL (5) got back in the run last time out after drawing the back row and was flying home late running fourth in a race the leader HEZA PUNK ROCKER (2) ran home brilliant sectionals. 

BARTELLO (1) steps up a long way in grade into this race but that rise in grade has been slightly offset by the ideal draw in this race where he should get a very economical run on the pegs. 

BLUTO (7) was launched to lead two starts ago and couldn’t cross there before he locked wheels and made a break which took him out of play. He then bounced back with a good third last time out behind stablemate HEZA PUNK ROCKER (2). He probably isn’t a horse that has previously been able to do work in his races which could make the wide draw tough in this race.

SUGGESTED BET: BARTELLO (1) to place. 

RACE 4 

BELLA DANZA (3) has good early speed and is likely to look for the lead in the early stages of the race. She led last time out and was run down late by Golden Fire who had the perfect run in the race on her back. She can look to go one better this time. 

LUVARECHS (1) has reasonable early speed and should be able to drive through and hold a prominent position in the early stages of this race. She put in another excellent run last time out when doing a lot of work and running second to Golden Fire. 

TREMENDOUS SENSATION (8) should get a good run behind LUVARECHS (1) who is likely to be keen to hold a forward position in this race. She was able to run a good third last time out behind GOLDEN FIRE (7) after racing off the pegs at this track and trip. 

GOLDEN FIRE (7) is looking for a hat-trick of wins in this race having raced with cover in her last two starts before sprinting best late to score. She draws poorly this time which appears to make things tough for her in this race.

SUGGESTED BET: TREMENDOUS SENSATION (8) to place. 

RACE 5

RUBY RULES (5) led three starts ago rating brilliant time in a consolation of the Rising Sun to beat stablemate Fire And Passion. She has since run two great races including last start when finishing sixth in The Golden Girl despite drawing poorly. She looks very well placed in this race and should be hard to beat. 

SEASIDE GLORY (9) did plenty of work last time out over the 2138 when fading late into sixth in a race taken out by Rakasandy. She looks to draw reasonably well in this race on the back row doing no work early and should be running on strongly late. 

LULLABY (4) was crossed last time out by Sweet Agenda before running on nicely late into third after being shuffled back on the pegs. She isn’t a brilliant beginner but does find a race here where she may be able to press forward and find a prominent position which should see her run well. 

REDS ABLAZE (2) is a quality mare at her best but has seemingly been below her best in recent outings including last start when leading and tiring late to finish fifth behind Tenaciously. She draws well in this race and can look to bounce back.

SUGGESTED BET: RUBY RULES (5) to win. 

RACE 6 

IDEAL BRONSKI (1) was forced to race without cover last time out when finishing fourth behind Bennydasook and SURREAL MORAN (2). He has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race which should see him very hard to run down. 

ALWAYSBJOY (3) put in a great effort last time out when drawing poorly on the back row before running on strongly late into fifth behind Ripples in the Queensland Oaks. She draws much better this time and should be able to secure a good run close to the speed in this race. 

RUGGARDS GEE TEE (4) was able to land a good run 1 out 1 back last time out at this track and trip when flashing late and running a good third behind Bennydasook. He should be close enough again from a front row draw and should run well. 

FOURTY ONE GEE (8) ran well last time out when sitting on the pegs behind the speed and finishing a very close up fifth. He should secure a similar type of run in this race and can be running on late.

RACE 7

AIR EXPRESS (2) has never been a horse noted for having brilliant gate speed but was able to drive through and lead from gate 1 in the final of the Breeders Challenge at Menangle before taking them all the way which he may look to do again in this race. He was excellent last time out when second up from a spell running on into third behind Spirit Of Anarchy who rated 1.50.6 in that race. 

MY ULTIMATE FLYNN (3) showed good gate speed last time out but just wasn’t quite able to get across Miracle Moose who was then able to lead and win. He draws well again in this race and if he can secure a more economical run he should be hard to beat. 

RAKASANDY (5) has good gate speed and is likely to look for a forward position in this race from a front row draw. He was able to work through from the back row and take up the lead before holding them all off late over this track and trip. 

OUR SUNSET DELIGHT (7) secured the ideal run behind Miracle Moose at this track last time out over the 1660 and just wasn’t quite able to run down that horse late. He draws poorly in this race and may be forced to do work at some stage.

RACE 8

DOVE LAKE (1) is first up for the stable of Trent Dawson in this race having shown good ability in NSW. She trialled nicely when working across early before taking a sit and running on well into second behind Hunt For Glory who rated fast time winning. If she can show enough gate speed to hold a prominent position she should run well. 

SWEET DIOR (6) was able to launch across to the lead last time out and was just run down in the concluding stages finishing third behind Lilstrepo. She draws wide this time but is likely to head forward early and look for a prominent position again. 

QUEEN LILIBET (10) has been racing well since joining the stable of Trent Lethaby. She sat close to the speed last time out and ran well for third behind Bubby To Base at this track and trip. She should get a good run off the speed again and can be running on late. 

ALWAYS ADORNED (8) should get a good run through behind a horse that is likely to be keen to hold a forward position in this race. She sat without cover last time out and ran a good second there behind Major Orion in a race they rated good time.
