Form Analysis: Redcliffe August 28

RACE 1 

CAPTAIN JAZZ (6) secured a good run last time out and just couldn’t quite run down Crippa Max in a race they ran a very slick last half. She draws poorly but does have good tactical speed and should be very hard to hold out. 

QUIK CHANGE (1) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead before having options from there. He was very good getting back in the run and finishing strongly last time out at Albion Park behind Mister Reactor. 

ZAC DANIELS (2) was very good recently when leading at this track and being taken on throughout before not being beaten far. If he was able to work to the lead in the early stages he would likely be hard to run down in this race. 

MISS SYRAH (3) was a winner three starts ago when securing a good run up on speed before dashing up nicely. She should secure a good run in this race and can be running on late again.

RACE 2 

BLING THE NOISE (5) was a nice winner in a recent race two starts ago at this track when leading all the way. He finds a race where he may be able to press forward and find a prominent position. 

ASCOT ANNIE (1) should secure a good run from the perfect draw in this race. Her latest win came at this track when securing the perfect leading back trail and was able to prove too good there. 

TELLMEABOUTIT (10) was forced to race without cover last time out and was able to score a good win there beating Little Whippet at this track and rating good time. He should be able to secure a similar type of run in this race and should be hard to beat. 

WELL SAID NUGGET (7) secured a good run last time out and was running on strongly behind Arkuna. He should get a good run in this race and if the gaps appear at the right time he should be hard to beat.

RACE 3

GOOD WORD THAT (3) doesn’t have brilliant early speed but may be able to work forward and find the front. She ran well in a race taken out by Jay Tee Tyron last start at Albion Park when finishing fifth.

EBONY BELLE (5) has good early speed and may look for a prominent position in the early stages of this race. She was shuffled back last start and couldn’t get into the race there which was taken out by Ideal Tiger.

MADAM WEST (9) was running on strongly two starts ago and just couldn’t quite reel in Bokhari there at this track. She should get a good run off the speed again and can be running on late. 

PLAYING FOR KEEPS (10) was able to secure a good run off the speed and made up some ground late behind Three Machs at this track. She has been racing well and could be suited if there is early tempo. 

SELECTIONS: GOOD WORD THAT (3), EBONY BELLE (5), MADAM WEST (9), PLAYING FOR KEEPS (10)

SUGGESTED BET: GOOD WORD THAT (3) to win. 

RACE 4 

JAY TEE TYRON (8) led from a wide draw last time out and was able to prove too good there leading all the way. He should get a good run off the speed this time in this race and looks well placed again in this field.

THE HARRIS HAWK (9) drew poorly last time out and was running on well into fourth. He should get a good run off the speed and will be running on strongly late if the race is run to suit. 

FAVREAU (5) has been excellent recently winning two starts ago after doing the work before just coming up short last time out running second. He should be able to find a position up on speed and should run well again. 

ROSIE POLLEN (1) was well beaten last time out in a race taken out by Arkuna. She draws well in this race and could be an improver.

SUGGESTED BET: JAY TEE TYRON (8) to win. 

RACE 5

WHOS DELIGHT (6) looks a class above his rivals in this race having dropped considerably in grade. He ran fourth last time out behind Darin in a much stronger race at Albion Park. He may be able to work to the lead and should run well. 

SWEET AGENDA (4) has excellent early speed and may be able to zip across early before taking a sit WHOS DELIGHT (6). She was shuffled back early last time out and didn’t have the best of luck in a race taken out by Smarter Than You. 

TILLY JAYNE (3) raced without cover two starts ago when running a good third behind Great Achiever. She appears to draw reasonably in this race and should be close enough in the small field. 

REAL TIN TIN (1) has the perfect draw in this race and some early speed which should see him in a prominent position. He secured a good run leaders back two starts ago and couldn’t quite reel in Mullum Doc.

SUGGESTED BET: WHOS DELIGHT (6) to win. 

RACE 6 

LITTLE WHIPPET (2) led early last time out before handing over and was beaten in good time by Tellmeaboutit. He is likely to secure a good run again in this race from a great draw and should be right in the finish. 

PERFECT FEELING (3) led and over raced badly there last time out over the 2040 when fading late. He is likely to be much better suited stepping back to the 1780 in this race and if he could find the lead he would be hard to run down. 

WAR CLUB (5) secured a good run last time out and was able to sprint nicely to score a good win there. He is likely to be shuffled back early in this race and he should be running on well late. 

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (1) appeared to have every chance last time out when leading and fading late into fourth. He draws well again but may look to adopt different tactics in this race and could be better suited driven with a sit.

RACE 7

CARLY PEREZ (3) was shuffled back last time out and was running on late behind Iam Hugo when first up from a spell there. She has previously shown good gate speed and if she could work to the lead in this race she would likely be hard to beat. 

SON OF XENA (5) was shuffled a long way back last start and finished it off strongly there in a race which became a dash home. He is likely to have derived a lot of benefit from the outing and can run well second up in this race. 

NOTIONS (9) secured a good run behind the leader two starts ago and was able to run second to smart filly Stripes. She backed that up with a good ninth in the QBRED Triad final last start and can run well again. 

MACKLEMORE CHEX (1) has been badly out of form and would need to improve significantly to be a hope in this race. He does draw well and has previously shown good ability.
