Form Analysis: Redcliffe August 13

RACE 1 

JAY TEE TYRON (5) appears very well graded in this race but does draw poorly. He secured a good run last time out and wasn’t beaten too far behind Pinkchampagne when finishing seventh. 

THREE CHORD RIFF (1) appears to draw well in this race and has moderate gate speed which could see her out in front. She did plenty of work last time out in a race that had a strong early tempo and she was still running on late. 

SHADYS DELIGHT (7) should get a good run through early in this race behind a horse which is likely to be keen to hold a prominent position. He was left without cover last time out and battled away well for third there. 

KEAYANG TARA (2) got back last time out and was running on nicely late into second behind Sporty Azz. She draws well in this race but has had a few weeks between runs which could be a query.

RACE 2

DOUGS TRIBE (6) impressed last time out when first up from a spell in QLD running on strongly into second behind Well Said Nugget. He should get a good run off the speed again in this race and can be running on late. 

LUVN OSMAN (4) zipped across early last time out before taking a sit and running a close up second there. He should be able to find a prominent position again from a favourable draw and looks well placed in this race. 

MIGHTY IDEAL (7) showed gate speed last time out before handing over to Number One Ranger and taking ground off him in the concluding stages when running second. He should get a soft run in this race and can be running on late. 

TAKE A CHANCE (5) got back in the run last time out and was well beaten behind Sassaba. He is a horse that has seemingly always done his best work up on speed and should be able to find a prominent position from a front row draw.

SUGGESTED BET: DOUGS TRIBE (6) to win. 

RACE 3

BLING THE NOISE (2) burned hard last time out and just may have done too much early there when going an incredible 26.7 first quarter before fading into fourth late. He should get an easier lead this time and can look to bounce back. 

LUKA DONCIC (1) doesn’t have a lot of gate speed which could see him shuffled back early but should still settle close in the run. He was forced to race without cover in a truly run race last time out and battled on well for second behind Lulu Lucifer who has since won again. 

RACANA (3) drew poorly last time out at Albion Park when shuffled a long way back over the 2138. She was forced very wide on the corner and did well to run into third behind Prospectus. She should settle closer this time and can run well again. 

UNBETONRED (8) ran well last time out when having his first run for his new stable running on strongly into second behind stablemate Art Jester. He should get a similar run in this race and will be running on well.

RACE 4 

ITS BACK PAGE NEWS (5) led last time out and copped plenty of pressure in front before giving a good kick and just being run down late by Prospectus who had a soft trip in the urn. She finds a race where she may be able to work her way to the lead again and should be hard to run down. 

THE HARRIS HAWK (6) draws wide in this race and is likely to be shuffled a long way back but has been racing in good form. He was running on well into fourth behind October Racketeer in a race the winner rated fast time. 

PLAYFUL MISS (9) should get a good run off the speed in this race. She secured a good run in mid June in a similar type of race and was running on strongly there to score at this track. 

IDEAL TIGER (2) has a good draw in this race and should settle in a prominent position. He has seemingly dropped into the right type of grade and should run well.

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE 5

OCTOBER RACKETEER (2) led last time out and dominated winning by a big margin and rating fast time for the grade. He looks the leader again in this race and should take plenty of running down with a repeat of his latest outing. 

BURNS BAY (3) drew wide last time out and was running on nicely late into second behind dominant winner OCTOBER RACKETEER (2) all things being equal it looks tough for him to turn the tables but he should run well again. 

ROCK IT BABY (8) sat without cover two starts ago and ran a good second there behind Little Surfer Girl. If he can get up on the speed in this race he should run well. 

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (1) has good gate speed but has probably been best served in recent times when driven with a sit. She took on an easier race last time out and was running on well into third late.

SUGGESTED BET: OCTOBER RACKETEER (2) to win. 

RACE 6 

JIVE MASTER (2) led three starts ago at this track over the 1780 and was able to lead all the way holding off Dragon who was then able to win a stronger race. He should be able to work to the lead in this race and should be hard to beat from there. 

LITTLE HOOFANANNY (3) scored a good win last time out when getting back in the run before finishing right over the top late to beat Vinnie Nitro. She draws well on the front row in this race and should be running on late again. 

PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (7) should settle close enough on the pegs in the run and will just be relying on luck at the right time to get into the clear. She sat without cover last time out and ran a very good second behind Mullum Doc. 

MY PURPLE PATCH (1) seemed to have his chance two starts ago when leading and fading out of it late. He may elect to take a sit this time and could be an improver with the right run.

SUGGESTED BET: JIVE MASTER (2) to win. 

RACE 7

MAJOR CRUNCH (8) looks to be a big class dropper into this race having flashed into second two starts ago behind Rakasandy before running well again last time out after drawing poorly in a race taken out by Smarter Than You. He should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late. 

BEYOND DOUBT (5) was a very impressive winner two starts ago when sitting without cover and proving too good in fast time at this track. He was then luckless last time out when checked early. He should be able to find a prominent position and should run well. 

SWEET AGENDA (6) has been racing in good form and has excellent gate speed which could see her find a prominent position despite the wide draw. She secured a good run leaders back last time out and ran a good second to Dreamalittledream. 

VINCHESKA (7) will be looking for a hat-trick of wins in this race from her first three starts in QLD. She draws awkward inside the back row this time and will need things to go her way to get into the clear at the right time.

RACE 8

CAPTAIN JAZZ (4) was left without cover last time out when over racing badly forging to the lead and just getting tired late to finish second. She may be able to work to the lead this time and if she can work to the lead she is likely to be very hard to beat. 

OUR SWEET JESS (2) has good gate speed and should find a prominent position in this race from a good draw. She got back in the run last time out and was running on nicely into third late behind All Eyes On Bling. 

BORELLA (5) secured a good run last time out and was running on well into second behind Ucancallme Al at this track. He is likely to be shuffled back from a wide draw in this race and should be running on late. 

ROLL TO THE TOP (9) should get a good run off the speed in this race from a soft trailing draw. She got back last time out and was running on fairly late into sixth in a race the winner rated fast time.
