Form Analysis: Redcliffe August 26

RACE 1 

ROLLYARRRZ (1) should have the gate speed to drive through and lead in this race from a good draw. He started favourite last time out and just couldn’t quite run down Candykane who had a comfortable run in front in that race. He should be hard to catch.

IDEAL PURSUIT (7) raced up on speed last time out in a truly run race which was taken out by Heza Maywyn. She is likely to get a soft run in this races and steps back to the 1780 which could also be suitable. 

THE TIGER ARMY (3) has been racing well recently including two starts ago when getting to the line well to run second behind Rock Hammer at this track. He should settle close enough from a good front row draw and can be thereabouts again. 

TERRAGONG SWINGER (4) has really begun to hit form in recent outings and will be looking for a hat-trick of wins in this race having got back and run over the top to score last start beating Sheez Got Torque. He should run well again.

RACE 2 

BEACH MAGIC (8) did a lot of work last time out at this track and was just run down late by Last Call who had a good run off the speed. He has had a few weeks between runs which does look a query but he should do no work early and can be put into the race at some stage. 

SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (9) got back in the run last time out and was making up late ground in a race taken out by Prince Joy in good time for the grade. He is likely to get back again and should be running on late if the race is run to suit. 

OYSTER STRIDE (1) should have the speed to lead early in this race before having options. He was able to lead and win at this track four starts ago and can look to do the same again in this race. 

ARKUNA (10) was able to get the right type of run off the speed last time out at this track and trip and was well driven to time her run to perfection narrowly holding out Well Said Nugget. She stays at a track and trip she loves to race at and should run well again.

RACE 3

MAHINDI (7) secured the perfect run on the leaders back last time out at this track over the 1780 and was able to sprint up nicely to score a dominant win. She should get a good run through early again in this race and can look to do the same again. 

ROCKIN IN PARADISE (1) has led and won at this track previously and recently with three runs having not had a lot of luck. If he can drive through and lead in this race he should be hard to run down.

ROCK NIEN (6) was able to work to hold the lead last start before kicking strongly to score a good win and rate fast time for the 1780. He draws poorly outside the front row this time and may need to work or will be shuffled a long way back. 

WESTERN BILL (8) was a good winner two starts ago at this track after sitting leaders back behind Ultimate Ark and used the sprint lane to score. He should get a good run off the speed this time and should be running on late.

SUGGESTED BET: WESTERN BILL (8) to place. 

RACE 4 

DIGBY DEVIL (2) should have the speed to work to the lead in the early stages of this race having been in reasonable form. The last time he led he ran a close second at this track to Lets Torqueaboutit. He should be hard to beat. 

NEED NOT TO WARRY (6) secured a good run close to the speed last time out and wasn’t beaten too far in fifth. He draws poorly and will need a few things to go his way but is capable. 

ART OF ROCK (4) got shuffled a long way back last time out and was running on late into fifth. He is likely to be shuffled back and can be running on late if the race is run to suit. 

CHARLIE CHUCKLES (1) has a good draw in this race and should secure a good run close to the speed. He was able to secure the perfect run last time out and was able to score there and rate decent time for the grade.

RACE 5

VODKA EN ICE (9) did all the work last time out at this track before forging to the front and racing clear before getting tired in the concluding stages and being run down by Aqua Cruiser. He seems to be nearing his best in this campaign and should run well in this race. 

LA BOMBA (3) has good gate speed and may be able to zip across in the early stages of this race. She secured a good run behind the leader three starts ago and was able to use the sprint lane to score a nice win over Royal Winkle. 

MILLIONDOLLAR KISS (6) was forced to do the work outside the leader last time out at this track and ran a good second to Sammys Secret. She draws poorly in this race outside the front row and may be forced to do some work again. 

EMMALEEN (2) hasn’t quite been at her best in recent outings but does draw well in this race and should settle close enough to the speed. She can be running on late.

RACE 6 

LOVIN MISS DIXIE (1) has good gate speed and the ideal draw in what looks a suitable grade of race. The last time she led at this track she was just run down late by Sheez Got Torque when finishing third. She should be hard to run down. 

ILLBEWATCHING (3) secured a good run off the speed last time out and was running on nicely into third behind Sammys Secret. This race doesn’t look any tougher but he does have an awkward draw. 

ROSARITO (9) secured a good run three starts ago and was able to run over the top late. He has since taken on slightly stronger races and should be running on late in this race. 

TRACER BULLET (4) got back in the run two starts ago and was running on late into fourth. He should get a similar run in this race and can be running on late again.

RACE 7

THATS CLASSIC (5) made a break when working away from the pegs last time out losing a lot of ground before catching them up and running an excellent fifth. He draws awkwardly but looks to find a suitable race and should run well. 

MAYWYN VALENTINO (6) sat outside the leader last time out at this track and dominated that race winning by a big margin over Aesthete who has since come out and won. He should be able to race up on speed again and can run well. 

AUNTY MEL (4) has been beaten a long way in her latest two outings in stronger races. She draws a touch awkwardly but can look to bounce back. 

PERFECT LOU (3) has very good gate speed and can look to lead initially before having options from there. He has been racing well but just can’t quite seem to break through for that second win.

RACE 8

MULLUM SIZZLE (8) sat without cover two starts ago and was very good there when battling away for fifth not beaten far. He appears to be dropping a long way in grade into this race and looks like he will take a lot of beating. 

BOSTON BOUND (2) showed good gate speed in a stronger race last time out before fading out of it late. She is likely to have derived a lot of benefit out of that outing and looks to be dropping in grade. 

GIFT GIVER (3) was shuffled back in a recent trial and worked through the line well late. She is the first foal out of Gina May and is in the right stable to run well on debut. 

STRAWBERRIESNCREAM (1) has had little luck since returning from a spell. She drew poorly last start and was running on late behind Aesthete.

RACE 9

TACTIQUE (1) secured a good run leaders back last time out and just faded late when running seventh. She should have the gate speed to lead in this race and should run well. 

WHAT IS HIS NAME (7) trialled up nicely recently when finishing second to Northview Cruncha. He should get a good run through early in this race and should run well on debut. 

ADORE CINDY (3) got back last time out and wasn’t beaten too far in eighth behind Aragorn at Albion Park. She is likely to have taken a lot of benefit from that outing and should run well in this race. 

MAJOR IMPRESSION (6) was well beaten in a strong race last time out taken out by Yippee Kiyay. He draws poorly in this race outside the front row and will need a few things to go his way.
