Townsville Greyhound Meeting Transferred

Racing Queensland advises of a change to the racing schedule at the Townsville Greyhound Racing Club.

To accommodate new monthly events being conducted by the Townsville Show Society, the Townsville race meeting ordinarily scheduled on the Friday of the fourth week of each month will instead be conducted on the Monday of that week.

All other Townsville race meetings will continue to be conducted as normal.

Key immediate changes are:

• Friday 28 August meeting has been transferred to Monday 31 August (day meeting)
• Open 498m and Open 643m events added to Tuesday 25 August program
• The fourth week of each month from September onwards will conduct Monday and Tuesday race meetings.
• Monday meetings will continue to be graded on Wednesday as normal
