Form Analysis: Albion Park September 29

RACE 1 

BIG REPUTATION (3) did a few things wrong in a recent trial but looked very impressive when scoring nicely. She has the draw advantage on her main rivals in this race and can look to maintain that in the early stages. 

DOUBLEFAULT (6) was forced to do some work mid race last time out when forging to the lead before being run down late by Go Minnie. He draws wide again in this race but looks one of the better chances. 

BROADWAYBEAUTY (5) despite being unplaced from five starts she did show good ability on her first campaign including a midfield finishing last time out behind Aardies A Star. She may need some luck from the draw but looks capable. 

RESERVED FOR ME (2) had things go wrong in a recent trial when running well enough there. She should have derived good benefit from the outing and draws nicely on debut.

RACE 2 

MAJESTIC LAVROS (5) was able to show good gate speed two starts ago zipping across early and taking them all the way. He comes into this race third up from a spell and is a horse with high speed that has some versatility. 

KODA DA MODA (4) has gate speed and may look to press forward and find a prominent position in this race. She raced off a 20m handicap last start and was good running into second beating a number of her key rivals in this race. 

INSTANT DELIGHT (1) has very little gate speed which makes gate 1 quite an awkward draw for her. If she can drive through and hold a prominent position this looks a suitable race. 

WHIRLWIND WILBUR (2) was quite impressive last time out when leading and winning comfortably from the stand start. He draws nicely in this race and should go well again.

SUGGESTED BET: MAJESTIC LAVROS (5) to win. 

RACE 3

SERENA LOVE (3) was forced to work hard last time out before edging to the lead when looking a certain winner before she broke gait in the final 50 and had to settle for third behind SECOND TO NUN (5). She is well handicapped in this race off just 10m and looks very hard to beat if she brings her best manners. 

LAYDOWNLUNA (7) was able to press through from the back row last time out and find the front finishing a close up second behind SECOND TO NUN (5). The handicaps don’t play into her favour in this race but she has been racing well and should run well again. 

SECOND TO NUN (5) secured a good run last time out and was able to edge past them late in the race to score. She should settle close enough again and looks another suitable race. 

GETOVERROVER (11) started off a big handicap three starts ago and was able to prove too good there. He is better handicapped in this race and looks a chance if he can step well early off the more favourable 30m handicap.

SUGGESTED BET: SERENA LOVE (3) to win. 

RACE 4 

UNCLE TONY (2) was forced to race without cover last time out at this track and battled on nicely there for third behind Sweet Dior. He should be able to press forward and find the lead in this race and would be very hard to run down from there. 

GLENEAGLE VEE CEE (3) should get a good run behind the speed in this race. He secured a good run last time out and was running on late into fourth behind Sweet Dior. 

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (1) has the perfect draw in this race to sit behind the speed and run into the money. He raced without a lot of luck last time out at Redcliffe when getting back in the run and making a wide run into it behind Pumpkin Pat who led all the way. 

BETTERTHANPOPSY (7) took on a strong stand start field last time out which was taken out by Greased Lightnin. He looks much better suited in this race and if the race is run to suit he should be running on strongly late.

SUGGESTED BET: UNCLE TONY (2) to win. 

RACE 5

SPORTS BOUNTY (7) was able to get in behind the leader recently at this track and ran out a dominant winner rating fast time for the grade. He looks well placed again in this race and should be hard to beat despite the wide draw. 

AZOR AHAI (3) has good gate speed and may be able to press forward before having options from there. He was left without cover recently at this track which isn’t generally a position he is suited to racing in. 

OCTOBER RACKETEER (10) drew awkwardly last time out and was held up for clear running there when finishing eighth. He draws outside the back row in this race which looks awkward but he is capable. 

THREE CHORD RIFF (1) doesn’t have a lot of gate speed which could see her shuffled back a touch early. She was good three starts ago when running on well into second in the Showcase series at Redcliffe.

SUGGESTED BET: SPORTS BOUNTY (7) to win. 

RACE 6 

BART BENTLEY (11) was having his first start for the stable of Mitch Cox last time out and was able to score a very impressive when there when sitting without cover. He may be forced to work again in this race but should run well. 

TAKE A CHANCE (1) has the good draw in this race and may be able to bounce back. He was shuffled back last time out in a slowly run race and couldn’t get into it late. He should be better suited racing up on speed. 

POCKET BOOK (7) got back in the run last time out and was running on well into second behind stablemate She Maybe Bettor. She draws widest which could see her shuffled back a long way and will need the race run to suit. 

LUVN OSMAN (4) was forced to race without cover last time out and battled on strongly there for fourth despite the work he had done in the run. He may be shuffled back in the race and should be running on late.

RACE 7

CAMERINA (2) looked to be a good thing beaten last time out when losing considerable ground when switching into the clear before charging late and just missing. She has the draw advantage on her main rivals this time and looks hard to beat. 

RACANA (8) was crossed in the early stages last time out by Opallane and was running on nicely late into a close up second but just wasn’t quite able to reel in the leader. She looks to draw awkward this time and may need a few things to go her way in the run. 

OUR SWEET JESS (4) secured the perfect run last time out and appeared to have her chance to win there behind Art Jester. She is a horse with high speed and can figure with the right run. 

UBETONRED (5) scored a dominant win recently at this track when finding the front and leading all the way. He may be forced to do the work this time and should be thereabouts.
