Form Analysis: Redcliffe September 21

RACE 1 

ONE LAST ROLL (1) has good gate speed and finds a race where he may be able to drive through and lead. He was forced to race without cover last time out at Marburg and battled on well there for fourth.

SATURDAY DANCE (7) put in a very nice run last time out when securing the leaders back trail behind Pumpkin Pat and was able to run straight by that horse late to score well at Marburg. She should get a similar run and will be hard to hold out again. 

PUMPKIN PAT (6) didn’t quite go to her best last time out when working to the lead before fading out of it late into fifth behind B Mac C. She looks well suited in this grade of race and should be able to bounce back. 

LETHAL LOUIE (5) got back in the run last time out at Marburg and was finishing it off strongly into second behind B Mac C. He should get a good run off the speed again in this race and if the race is run to suit he should be running on strongly.

RACE 2 

DENIS THE PUNTER (2) was able to zip to the lead last time out before rolling even sectionals and dug deep late to score. He is likely to look to adopt similar tactics in this race from a good draw and can prove hard to catch again. 

ROCKIN SWEET (4) was crossed early last time out before being shuffled back in the field by a tiring runner and was still able to run through the line quite well late. He may look to press forward and appears to find the right type of race. 

PENNIE PACKER (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race and will need a few things to go her way in the run. She was forced to race without cover last time out over the 2138 at Albion Park and battled on reasonably for seventh. 

VINCENT TIME (6) sat without cover last time out at Redcliffe and was able to battle away well for fourth behind Merry Jewel. He may be forced to do work again in this race but could find this a touch easier.

RACE 3

IDEAL TIGER (1) appears to find a race where he should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages. He was excellent two starts ago when running over the top to score in a race which wasn’t run to suit. 

BRITTS MATE (2) finally broke through for another win two starts ago when getting back and coming over the top late to score a big win. She draws well in this race and should settle close enough to figure in the finish again. 

ULTIMATE HUNTER (3) scored an impressive win last time out when appearing to over race badly when sitting without cover and simply proving too good for his rivals. He may be left do the work again but may have derived benefit from his first up outing. 

NEED NOT TO WARRY (6) draws wide in this race and will need the race run to suit to bring him into it. He ran a very good race last time out when running on strongly into third behind Denis The Punter.

SUGGESTED BET: IDEAL TIGER (1) to win. 

RACE 4 

JUKEBOX JET (6) sat without cover last time out and was very good there finishing a close up second behind Sammys Secret in good time for the grade. He may be forced to do some work again in this race but shouldn’t find this any harder than his latest outing. 

COPY WRITER (1) has gate speed and a good draw in this race. She hasn’t had a lot of luck in recent outings including last time out when doing work before being left without cover which wouldn’t have suited her. 

KEAYANG TARA (3) didn’t do herself any favours in recent stand start outings finding herself out the back due to early errors. She should settle close enough in this race and appears very well graded. 

SKYLAR BREE (5) finished eighth last time out but looked to be particularly unlucky there when held up for clear running at Marburg. She draws wide and will need a few things to go her way in the run but looks capable.

RACE 5

CHECHINGOUTTHEBILL (8) returns from a spell in this race without a trial which looks a query. He took on a much stronger race last time out and wasn’t beaten too far behind Schooners and a number of other capable horses. With the right run he should go close. 

THATS OUR BOY (2) showed good gate speed to lead in a recent trial at Marburg before taking a sit on the higher assessed Cosmic Flyer and was able to run second to that horse. He should be able to find a prominent position in this race and should run well from there. 

VICTREE BUSTA (3) finished fourth last time out in a race where there was a genuine tempo and the winner Holme Boy rated good time for the grade. He should settle close again and has each way claims on his best. 

WICKED DE LIL (4) took on a much stronger race last time out when well beaten by Notions and Northview Cruncha. She should find this much easier but does draw a touch awkwardly.

RACE 6 

ROLLONX (3) has always had good gate speed and may be able to zip across and lead in this race before having options from there. He comes into this race third up from a spell and should be building towards peak fitness. 

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7) ran well in his head of the showcase series at Marburg when finishing fourth before not being as suited on a hot tempo last time out. He drops back to his own grade and draws to get a soft run. 

TAKE COURAGE (5) is a capable sit sprinter and could be suited getting back in a race there could be a genuine tempo. She ran well last time out in a slightly stronger race taken out by Sammys Secret. 

BEAU STEELE (9) has dropped a long way back in grade off some of his better efforts into this company. He ran a good second two starts ago behind The Harris Hawk at this track and a similar effort would see him hard to beat in this race.

RACE 7

WANNABE ME (2) has been taking on much stronger company including last start when sitting leaders back behind Mackenzie Reg and finishing sixth. She should find this a lot easier and may be able to press to the lead in the early stages. 

TUSCANS COURAGE (1) has been racing well and appears close to a maiden win having put together four consecutive placings. He sat without cover last time out and wasn’t beaten far there behind Hungry For More at Marburg. 

OLIVIA RHAYNE BOW (9) got back in the run and was running on well into third behind Azzif. She appears likely to get a similar run in this race and can be running on late again. 

STRAWBERRIESNCREAM (7) draws a touch awkwardly inside the back row in this race. She secured a good run two starts ago and was able to battle on well for third behind Gift Giver and Mullum Suzzle.

RACE 8

TINTIN IN LOGAN (1) has been building with each run since returning from a spell and looks ready to take out her maiden. She was well beaten last time out but took on much stronger company there in a race which was taken out by Mullum Sizzle over Jewel Reason. 

BOSTON BOUND (8) ran a good race for third behind Feeling Happy last time out. She is having her fourth career start in this race and draws to do no work early again. She should be hard to hold out. 

AURELIE (6) ran well enough for this type of race in a recent trial at Albion Park which was taken out by Mythical Dragon. She draws poorly in this race due to being ODM but has good place claims. 

MELTON FOURHUNDRED (3) nabbed the position leaders back last time out and was able to battle on for third behind Hungry For More. She should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late.
