Surat Diggers Race Club meeting abandoned

Racing Queensland advises that the Surat Diggers Race Club race meeting scheduled for today has been abandoned following the determination that the track is not suitable for racing.
The club has been engaging with the RQ Tracks team throughout the last week and has undertaken several remedial measures to bring the track up to the required standard for racing.
However, those endeavours have unfortunately been unsuccessful.
Post the decision, RQ had hoped that a replacement venue could be secured for the meeting as a transfer, however this has unfortunately not come to fruition.
