Form Analysis: Albion Park October 16

RACE 1 

HARRY THE HAT (4) looks the class runner of the field and should be able to press forward and find a prominent position in this race. He ran well finishing sixth behind Im El Aquero at Albion Park in the final of the QBRED Triad series. 

FAN THE FLAME (3) was able to lead at Redcliffe recently taking them all the way beating Goldclass. This race looks tougher than her latest outing but she does draw favourably and should be close enough in the run. 

TASK AT HAND (1) secured a good run last time out before making a break which took her out of play there. She did appear to travel well before making a break and could be better for the outing. 

ILLBERIDINGSHOTGUN (7) made a break at the start last time out which took him out of play there after drawing favourably. He draws poorly in this race and will need a few things to go his way.

RACE 2 

SKIP TO ME LOU (4) ran well first up when finishing second to Atula who was able to control things out in front and showed too much dash late when holding him off. He then did it tough again and wasn’t beaten too far by Blackjack Sam. 

CLAUDES DESIRE (3) starts in this race first up for the stable of Graham Dwyer and appears to be a horse which could improve significantly. He showed good gate speed four starts ago and was able to lead all the way. He should run well. 

READY TO DREAM (6) ran very well first up for his new stable last time out when securing a good run and finishing off strongly into second behind Blackjack. The draw doesn’t look to favour him in this race and he will need a few things to go his way in running. 

ROCKY WINE (7) draws poorly outside the front row but is seemingly going well enough to figure in a race of this nature. She was running on strongly in what may have been a better race last time out taken out by Our Sweet Jess.

RACE 3

MAJOR SLIP UP (3) sat without cover last time out and couldn’t quite finish it off there when well beaten by PLAYING FOR KEEPS (6). He may be able to drive through and lead in this race and should be hard to run down in this race if he can lead. 

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (4) was able to zip across last time out before taking a trail on PLAYING FOR KEEPS (6) who was able to hold him off late. He draws well again in this race and should settle close enough to run another good race. 

ROSIE POLLEN (5) drew awkwardly inside the back row last time out when being shuffled back before running on nicely late into fourth. She may be shuffled back early in this race and should be running on well. 

BEACH MAGIC (8) draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race but does look very well graded. He had no luck last time out when shuffled back at Albion Park before running on late in a race taken out by Powermove.

RACE 4 

MILLIEWOOD (9) was able to secure a good run off the speed last time out and was running on stylishly late into second behind Longshot. She should get a good run through in this race following a gate speed horse and can be running on late again. 

ONE CHAIN ROAD (2) has very good gate speed and may be able to zip across and lead in the early stages of this race. He raced without luck recently at this track when drawing wide before being shuffled back and found trouble at a crucial stage there. 

VICTREE CHARLIE (6) didn’t have much luck last time out when getting back in the run there before being held up in a strong race. He is a horse that always gets back in his races and should be running on late. 

ROSIES BOY (3) has been racing well recently and appears to be close to another win. He sat without cover two starts ago and battled on well there for third behind Deep Regret given it isn’t a position he is seemingly best suited to.

SUGGESTED BET: MILLIEWOOD (9) to win. 

RACE 5

TORO LOCO (2) has good early speed and should be able to find the front in the early stages of this race. He was left without cover recently at this track when running a close up third to Girl Power there. 

LONGSHOT (4) led last time out and was able to score a good win over Milliewood over the 2138. He has been excellent this time in and finds another race he should be able to settle on speed and run well again in.

NOTIONS (1) has the speed to hold a prominent position in this race from a good draw. She seems to be best suited when driven sit sprint and could be suited getting a soft run in this race. 

WHATA GOOD FEELING (8) draws to do no early work in this race and should secure a good run on the pegs. She sat without cover last time out and was excellent there running a close up second to Shez A Punter who had a much more economical run in the race.

SUGGESTED BET: TORO LOCO (2) to win. 

RACE 6 

SPLASHNDASH (1) should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race from the good draw. He was able to lead last time out and scored a good win there when holding off So Many Moments late. He should be hard to beat again. 

HES REGAL (8) should get a very good run through in this race behind the likely leader and that’s a position he is well suited to. He got back in the run last time out and was running on nicely into third behind SPLASHNDASH (1). 

PENNIE PACKER (4) ran well last time out on the grass at Kilcoy when finishing second behind dominant winner Dual Cam. She looks well graded in this type of race and should run well again. 

WEHAVTIME (6) caught the eye two starts ago when getting back and running on strongly there late into second. He appears to find a suitable type of race but does draw quite awkwardly outside the front row.

RACE 7

KEAYANG KAUANA (1) sizzled off the gate last time out to find the front before setting a frantic tempo out in front running a very fast first half of the 2138 and was very impressive battling on for third behind Cosmic Flyer. She draws best this time and steps back to the 1660 which should see her very hard to beat. 

GREATGREAT BOULDER (8) should get a good run through in this race behind a gate speed horse which is likely to be fancied in this race. He choked down recently at Marburg before being sent back to trials where he trialled well. 

MY ULTIMATE ZANDER (3) was very good last time out in the final of the QBRED Triad series when drawing poorly and running on late into sixth. This looks easier and he draws more favourably in this race. 

KIKI MEISTER (4) was able to zip across last time out before taking a sit on Shades Of Miki and was able to run a good second to that horse. He should be able to work forward early again in this race and can run well from there.

RACE 8

OPALLANE (7) showed very good gate speed last time out to find the front before taking them all the way. He steps up to the 2138 and draws widest in this race but does still look to have strong claims off his latest win. 

GIRL POWER (3) was able to work to the front last time out and held them all off leading all the way. She is likely to have derived good benefit from the outing and should run well again in this race. 

QUIK CHANGE (10) secured a good run behind the leader two starts ago and was able to run a good second there behind the in-form Fifty Three Stars. He should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late. 

CEDAR CREEK FALLS (9) is a capable sit sprint type mare that should get a good run off the speed in this race. She secured a good run behind the leader three starts ago and was able to sprint best to score there.
