Form Analysis: Albion Park October 2

RACE 1 

SKIP TO ME LOU (5) was forced to race without cover last time out and just couldn’t quite reel in Atula. He looks set to get a similar run in this race but is likely to have derived good benefit from the first up outing. 

BLACKJACK SAM (1) has a good draw in this race and good enough gate speed to drive through and lead before having options from there. He got back in the run last time out and was running on nicely late. 

BLACKJACK (4) comes into this race first up from NZ and boasts just a moderate career record. Ran well in his latest outing finishing second running on strongly late in a race the winner dashed up a quick enough last quarter of 27.9. 

JUSTANOTHER TORQUE (2) looks likely to get a soft run behind the speed in this race. She put in a very good run three starts ago sitting without cover at Redcliffe and running second.

RACE 2 

TRACER BULLET (6) was able to secure a good run two starts ago over the 2040 at Redcliffe and ran over the top late to score. He should get a similar run in this race and can be hard to hold out late. 

SKYLAR BREE (3) wasn’t beaten far last time out in what may have been a stronger race taken out by Deep Regret over Rosie Pollen. She has worked back into some better form in recent outings and hadn’t had a lot of luck in her starts prior. 

MADAM WEST (1) should secure a good run on the pegs just behind the speed in this race. She didn’t have a lot of luck at Redcliffe last time out when drawing awkwardly and being shuffled a long way back. 

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (5) was able to score nicely last time out when sweeping over the top late to win. She has always seemingly liked racing over the middle trip and could be running on late again.

RACE 3

NONIS GOLD CLASS (10) was able to win a much stronger race last time out when leading and taking them all the way. She is not as well handicapped this time but does look the class horse and just needs to bring her best manners to be hard to beat. 

BUSTER DAN (11) was able to score nicely last time out beating Black Viper after securing a good run close to the speed. He finds a very similar race and is set to be hard to beat again in this race. 

VICTREE VIC (5) returns from a spell in this race for new trainer Shawn Grimsey. He was fancied last time out to take out what might’ve been a harder race from the mobile at this track and with better manners in this race could be hard to beat. 

ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (7) was able to run well last time out in a similar type of race taken out by BUSTER DAN (11). She was forced to race without cover there and could secure a more economical run in this race.

RACE 4 

ONE CHAIN ROAD (1) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead this race in the early stages. He led two starts ago and was run down late by VICTREE CHARLIE (6) who was able to settle much closer than usual in that race. 

DIGBY DEVIL (9) looks suited in this race from a draw where he will do no work early. He raced without luck last time out when drawing wide and being shuffled back before making a wide run into it. 

DEEP REGRET (4) sat without cover and proved too good for Rosie Pollen at this track last time out. He finds a tougher race but is going well and can’t be ruled out. 

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (8) should get the perfect run through early in this race behind a gate speed horse. She was close up last time out over the less suitable 2138 behind Smirks Lika Boss.

SUGGESTED BET: ONE CHAIN ROAD (1) to win. 

RACE 5

RUBY RHAYNE BOW (5) was able to work to the lead last time out at this track and took them all the way beating Sweet Rocky. She should be able to work forward in this race and find a prominent position and should be hard to beat from there. 

LILSTREPO (2) was excellent four starts ago sitting without cover and just being run down late by Dougs Flame. She should get a good run in this race and should be hard to beat. 

APOLLO DREAMZ (8) should get a good run through early in this race. He was a much better run last time out when running into third late behind Charge Ahead at this track over the 2138. 

MISS BAY KING COLE (1) was able to lead and win three starts ago at this track to make it two in a row there having won after racing leaders back her start prior. She has a good draw in this race and should be close enough in the run.

SUGGESTED BET: RUBY RHAYNE BOW (5) to win. 

RACE 6 

IDEAL PURSUIT (6) has a reasonable draw on the front row and can look to press forward and lead in this race. The distance of the race does appear a query for her but she has previously run well at this track and trip. 

BRACKEN WARRIOR (1) has good gate speed and should be able to lead easily before having options from there. He led three starts ago and was very good just being run down late by Miss Bay King Cole in fast time. He should go well from an ideal draw. 

MIGHTY IDEAL (8) has a good draw in this race and will just need luck at the right time. He was well driven last time out to weave into the clear and run over the top late.

ULTIMATE ARK (9) got back in the run last time out at Redcliffe and was making up late ground into sixth behind Terragong Swinger. He looks suited over the distance and should get a good run through in the early stages of the race.

SUGGESTED BET: ULTIMATE ARK (9) to win. 

RACE 7

SOHO CASABLANCA (1) has been building back towards his best form since returning from a spell and coming into this race fourth up he could be nearing peak fitness. He got back in the run last time out and was making up some ground late behind Sweet Dior. He could lead and be hard to run down. 

BENNYDASOOK (7) returns from a spell in this race and draws widest on the front row. He was very impressive last time in winning four of his last six starts and was able to rate fast time at this track. If he’s ready to go first up he should be hard to beat. 

ALL EYES ON BLING (8) should get a good run through behind the potential leader in the early stages of this race. She ran a good race last time out finishing fourth behind Ruby Rhayne Bow at this track. 

LETHAL LOUIE (3) was checked at a crucial stage last time out when making his run into it at Redcliffe. He may get shuffled back in this race and can be running on late.
