Form Analysis: Albion Park October 20

RACE 1 

BETTOR BE BOHDI (1) led and ran third recently at Marburg in a race taken out by Barracuda. He has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead early. He has run a lot of placings but does seem to struggle to win. 

NORTHVIEW CRUNCHA (8) should get a good run through behind the likely leader in the race. He got back and couldn’t get into the race last time out which was taken out by Son Of Xena over the 2138. He should be more suited from this draw and over the 1660. 

FIGHT FOR VICTORY (7) loomed up and looked the winner recently before being run down by Son Of Xena. He draws poorly outside the front row in this race and will need a few things to go his way in the run. 

RACANA (3) has good gate speed and was able to lead recently over the 2138 before being run down late by Next To Me. She draws well but will start outside a number of gate speed horses in this race which looks awkward for her.

RACE 2 

THE REAL ROCKETMAN (9) led last time out before handing over and running a good second behind Rocky Leigh. He is likely to get a good run off the speed in this race and can be running on well late. 

MAYWYNS KAREN (6) sat close to the speed last time out and wasn’t beaten far by Rocky Leigh in fourth over the 2138. The draw looks quite awkward for her in this race but she is going well and should be too far away.

VICTREE BUSTA (5) finished a close up fourth last time out behind Galvarino at Marburg. He draws awkwardly in this race but finds suitable company and with the right run could figure in the finish. 

STONES (10) was able to run on well last time out at Redcliffe when getting back and finishing it off well into third behind Surprise Baby. He should get the right type of run again in this race.

RACE 3

SWEET ROCKY (7) led two starts ago and appeared to have his chance there when beaten by Amami. He then made a break last time out and finds himself ODM as a result in this race. He should be able to press forward in this race and can bounce back. 

PUNTERS JEWEL (6) got back last time out and was running on fairly late at this track when finishing fifth. He draws awkwardly this time and may get back and will need the race run to suit. 

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (2) has good gate speed and should be able to zip across and lead early before having options from there. He led three starts ago and was run down late by One Last Roll there. 

LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (1) doesn’t have much gate speed which could see him crossed early and shuffled back which could make things tough. He was forced to race without cover last time out when well beaten but could be better suited over the shorter trip.

RACE 4 

FIRE AND PASSION (6) was forced to race without cover last time out and just couldn’t quite reel in Williams who has been racing in excellent form. He finds a suitable race where he should be able to press forward and find a prominent position and should be very hard to beat. 

CHARGE AHEAD (4) secured a good run last time out and was charging through before running into trouble at a crucial stage. If he had clear running he likely would’ve won last time out and if he can secure the right run in this race he should go well again. 

FIRE RAISER (7) has been impressive in recent outings including an excellent fourth when stepping right up in grade behind Leap To Fame before making a break at his latest outing which took him out of play. He draws poorly in this race and would need a lot to go his way. 

FIFTY THREE STARS (9) has been impressive this time in racing in strong company. He led two starts ago and was able to prove too good there for Quik Change over the 2138. He can be running on late this time.

SUGGESTED BET: FIRE AND PASSION (6) to win. 

RACE 5

POCKET BOOK (2) has gate speed and may be able to press forward in this race and lead before having options from there. She is usually best suited when sat up and saved for one run and should be hard to hold out in this race. 

OCTOBER RACKETEER (4) led last time out and set a very fast tempo there before tiring late but he was entitled to. He should be able to press forward again in this race and if he could secure a more economical run in front he can bounce back this time. 

MACS A DUDE (10) took on a strong race last time out which was taken out by Mighty Deal at this track and trip. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and should be running on late if the race is run to suit. 

HARRY KANE (3) secured a good run off the speed last time out and was running on fairly late there. He should settle closer this time and can be hard to hold out late.

SUGGESTED BET: POCKET BOOK (2) to win.

RACE 6 

WARRAWEE FLYER (1) found a good spot on the pegs last time out before being badly held up for clear running when appearing to have plenty left to give late. She draws favourably in this race and can look to drive through and lead early. 

BETTOR CHEER (11) had a tough run outside the leader last time out and wasn’t beaten far there in fifth. He finds a suitable race but does draw poorly and may need to do work at some stage of the race. 

SHE MAYBE BETTOR (12) got back last time out and was running on well there into fifth. She is likely to be shuffled back in this race and can be running on well late. 

SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (9) got back in the run last time out and was running on strongly behind Mighty Ideal. He should get a similar run in this race and can be running on late.

RACE 7

MAGIC MIKI (5) draws the best of the main chances in this race and may be able to press forward and find the lead early. He trialled up well recently when just dashing up the straight late to beat trotter Raffie Jay. He should be hard to beat. 

BENNYDASOOK (9) led recently at this track and trip when rolling along a very genuine tempo and being run down by King Bling finishing third. He is likely to get a good run off the speed in this race and can be running on late. 

AMYLEE (8) trialled up well recently finishing third behind smart stablemate Fire And Passion. She was impressive in her latest race start when finishing second behind Stripes in the QBRED Triad final. 

SWEET NELLIE JOY (2) should have the speed to drive through and lead before potentially taking a sit on one of the favoured runners. With the perfect run just behind the speed she looks to have good place claims in a race of this nature.
