RACE 1

SUNDAY SWEET TALK (3) was incredibly impressive recently when running a close up second in a stand start trial behind pacer Rostova. If she is able to do everything right early and begin safely from the stand start her main rival IM FRANKEE (5) is likely to face a very big task making up the 40m handicap.

IM FRANKEE (5) faces a big handicap in this race which is double the handicaps she has been able to overcome previously in 20m. She started off the front in her latest start and was able to score a nice enough win there beating BOSTON BLIZZARD (1).

BOSTON BLIZZARD (1) returned from a spell at Marburg when running second to POZZI TONOZZI (4) after making a break in the early stages. Having likely derived good benefit from her first up outing and with a safer beginning she can figure in the placings again.

POZZI TONOZZI (4) was able to overcome a 10m handicap recently at Marburg when finding the front and taking them all the way there. She faces a 20m handicap this time and finds a much stronger race.

SELECTIONS: SUNDAY SWEET TALK (3), IM FRANKEE (5), BOSTON BLIZZARD (1), POZZI TONOZZI (4)

SUGGESTED BET: SUNDAY SWEET TALK (3) to win.

RACE 2

BLACK VIPER (9) got back two starts ago and was running on late into second behind Buster Dan at this same track and trip. He has been prone to doing things wrong in his races including last start when pacing before making a break last time out which took him out of play.

ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (6) has been racing consistently in recent outings. Ran well two starts ago finishing second to Why Tanya Sue in a similar race to this one. She looks well placed again off a 10m handicap in this race and shouldn’t be too far away.

LOCHINVAR SON (7) secured a good run behind the leader last time out and continued his consistent form when running second to Lizzies Son. He should get a good run close enough to the speed again in this race and shouldn’t be too far away.

SMOKEY BEAR (3) wasn’t able to begin as quickly as he can last time out and found himself shuffled back early before running into second late behind Ogden at Marburg. He is well handicapped again in this race and if he can begin a touch faster this time he should secure the right type of run.

SELECTIONS: BLACK VIPER (9), ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (6), LOCHINVAR SON (7), SMOKEY BEAR (3)

SUGGESTED BET: BLACK VIPER (9) to win.

RACE 3

EXIT ELEVEN (2) has good early speed and should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race from a good draw. He was able to lead and win his latest outing in mid September when beating Doublefault and Go Minnie who have both since won.

LOTS OF HEART (7) didn’t have the best of luck recently on return from a spell when shuffled back on the pegs before charging through the line stylishly late once clear. He draws widest in this race but looks a horse with above average ability and is likely to have derived benefit from his first up outing.

FAN THE FLAME (1) has the ideal draw in this race and looks set to get an economical run close to the speed. She was forced to sit without cover last time out and battled on nicely there behind stablemate Harry The Hat. She should run well again.

FIT AND READY (4) secured a good run last time out and wasn’t beaten too far there behind stablemates Blackjack Bart and Better One. She should settle close enough to the speed in this race and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: EXIT ELEVEN (2), LOTS OF HEART (7), FAN THE FLAME (1), FIT AND READY (4)

SUGGESTED BET: EXIT ELEVEN (2) to win.

RACE 4

READY TO DREAM (4) has impressed since landing in the stable of Ryan Vievers in QLD. He ran another good race finishing third in a race the winner Skip To Me Lou rated good time beating Claudes Desire. He looks ready to win.

VINCENT TIME (3) secured a good run behind the speed last time out and was running on nicely there into second behind Glenledi Boy who has been racing in good form. He is a horse that loves to race close to the speed and from a good draw should run another good race.

TORO LOCO (6) was well driven last time out to get in behind the leader early before being presented into the clear and wasn’t able to hold off Bigbashash late. He draws less favourably this time but appears to be close to another win.

GIRL POWER (5) draws a touch awkwardly in this race towards the outside of the front row given she has seemingly done her best racing up on speed. She took on a strong enough race last time out and was forced to do the work but did battle on well there for third behind Sweet Lad Jujon.

SELECTIONS: READY TO DREAM (4), VINCENT TIME (3), TORO LOCO (6), GIRL POWER (5)

SUGGESTED BET: READY TO DREAM (4) to win.

RACE 5

JAY TEE TYRON (1) doesn’t have brilliant gate speed anymore but finds a race where there doesn’t appear to be any brilliant beginners and he may be able to lead early. He led last time out at Redcliffe over the 2040 when well beaten by The Tiger Army in a race the winner rated good time.

THE REAL ROCKETMAN (4) ran well two starts ago when lead before handing over to Rocky Leigh and running a good second there. He had less luck in his latest outing when sitting without cover and battling away for sixth there. He appears close to another win.

MILLIONDOLLAR KISS (2) hasn’t had a lot of luck in recent outings when racing off the pegs. She was forced to do the work outside the leader in a stronger race and was well beaten there but should find this a lot easier and does draw well.

SKYLAR BREE (3) got back in the run and was finishing it off well there into third late in a race taken out by Jilliby Panda. She should get a good run again in this race and is racing well.

SELECTIONS: JAY TEE TYRON (1), THE REAL ROCKETMAN (4), MILLIONDOLLAR KISS (2), SKYLAR BREE (3)

SUGGESTED BET: JAY TEE TYRON (1) to win.

RACE 6

SON OF XENA (8) should get a good run through early in this race behind a horse which is likely to be keen to hold a forward position. He tracked into the race nicely last time out from off the speed over the 2138 at this track and was able to sprint nicely late to score over Fight For Victory.

MAGNETIC STORM (1) has good gate speed and may look to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race from the good draw. He was forced to do the work outside the leader last time out and battled away well enough there for fifth not beaten too far behind Im Boo.

RUBY RHAYNE BOW (2) has good early speed but does draw outside of a horse which also has early speed and may be keen to hold the lead in this race. She was forced to race without cover last time out and battled on well there beaten just 3.3 metres behind Kiki Meister despite the tough run. She looks hard to beat again.

MAJOR CRUNCH (7) draws poorly outside the front row but does look quite well placed in this race and has been racing well in recent outings. He got back in the run last time out and was running on nicely late into the placings behind Kiki Meister at this track over the 1660.

SELECTIONS: SON OF XENA (8), MAGNETIC STORM (1), RUBY RHAYNE BOW (2), MAJOR CRUNCH (7)

SUGGESTED BET: SON OF XENA (8) to win.

RACE 7

ROCKY LEIGH (2) was able to find the front over the 2138 in this race and able to lead all the way there first up for the stable of Jack Chapple. He draws favourably again in this race and if he can find the front he is likely to be very hard to run down.

PENNIE PACKER (5) appears well suited in this race dropping in grade off some of her better efforts. She got back in a stronger race taken out by Splashndash and just couldn’t quite get into it late. If she can secure the right run she should be right in the finish.

ULTIMATE ARK (8) appears suited by the soft trailing draw but does follow a runner which may be shuffled back in the early stages meaning he will be relying on some luck to get into the clear. He got back and was running on late into fifth last time out in a race taken out by Bigbashash at this track in good time for the grade.

LAZENA (1) appears likely to get a favourable run behind the speed in this race. She secured a good run on the pegs three starts ago and was running on well into fourth late behind Whata Good Feeling. She can bounce back into form on the pegs in this race.

SELECTIONS: ROCKY LEIGH (2), PENNIE PACKER (5), ULTIMATE ARK (8), LAZENA (1)

SUGGESTED BET: ROCKY LEIGH (2) to win.

RACE 8

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (2) has very good early speed and should be able to find a prominent position from a good draw in this race. He led in a much stronger race last time out and just got tired late in a race he was forced to set a very genuine tempo early.

KEAYANG KAUNA (10) was particularly impressive first up when working hard out in front over the 2138 and battling on nicely late for third. She then wasn’t beaten far last time out behind Kiki Meister in what may have been a stronger race. She draws awkwardly but looks set to run well again.

MOONSHINE MILLY (1) has shown little to no gate speed which could make this draw a very tricky one for him in the early stages. He has been impressive this time in running well a number of times and if he could hold a forward position he would be hard to beat in a race of this nature.

BLACKJACK (9) scored his second win last time out in three QLD starts when able to lead and just hold off Piccolo Diavolo in slow time at Redcliffe. He appears a horse which is likely to be better suited following and may just struggle a touch to put them away late at this stage of his career.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (2), KEAYANG KAUNA (10), MOONSHINE MILLY (1), BLACKJACK (9)

SUGGESTED BET: KEAYANG KAUANA (10) to win.
