Form Analysis: Albion Park October 31

RACE 1 

MOSTERT (9) was able to zip across early last time out and hold off Fate Awaits late who had the perfect run on his back. He should get an economical run through early and can be put into the race at some stage. 

BAINBRIDGE (7) did things wrong at the start last time out and was out of play in the early stages there. He did impress his start prior when leading and being run down by the in-form Smarter Than You. 

FOR REAL LIFE (8) was able to secure a good run behind Leap To Fame and ran into a strong there when first up from a spell there. He looks set to get a good run behind the speed again in this race and can be running on late. 

TREMENDOUS SENSATION (10) should get a good run off the speed in this race from a soft trailing draw. She hasn’t been suited by draws in recent outings and should be more suited in this race.

RACE 2 

DASHING (6) burned around them while they were running last time out and was able to get in behind Leap To Fame and run an impressive second there. He may be able to zip across and lead in this race and looks likely to be very hard to run down. 

SMARTER THAN YOU (1) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead before having options from there. He has been incredibly impressive this campaign and ran a great third behind Leap To Fame two starts ago before having less go his way last time out. 

TIMS A TROOPER (8) should get a good run through in this race and will settle close enough on the pegs in this race. He was forced to sit without cover last time out and battled on reasonably for fifth given he is usually best when sat up and saved for one run. 

WISPER A SECRET (9) burned hard last time out and wasn’t quite able to get across but was able to get in behind the leader eventually but had just done too much work in the early stages. He should get a good run behind the speed and can be running on late.

SUGGESTED BET: SMARTER THAN YOU (1) to place. 

RACE 3

MOVE IT LOU (4) did a few things wrong last time in. He ran well in a recent trial finishing second to Sinabun. He looks to be the best drawn of the main chances in this race and should be very hard to run down if he’s able to find the front early. 

SHADES OF MIKI (7) was running on strongly late last time out into third behind very smart horse Always B Cool. He has shown he is capable of doing work in his races and can look to press forward and race in a prominent position in this race. 

WAIKAKA MAGIC (6) trialled up nicely recently finishing third in good time behind Sinabun who has since run well since returning from a spell. He should be able to secure a good run off the speed in this race and can be running on late. 

SKIP TO ME LOU (3) was forced to race without cover last time out and proved too good for Claudes Desire. He should be able to find a prominent position in this race and should run well from there.

RACE 4 

GOLDEN SUNSET (6) was incredibly impressive last time out when sitting without cover and running by key rival in this race KEAYANG STUKA (3) despite the tough run. She draws wide in this race but has shown she is capable of doing work in her races and she should be hard to beat again. 

KEAYANG STUKA (3) was able to find the front from the mobile three starts ago and couldn’t hold off the challenge of GOLDEN SUNET (6). He has since run well twice in stand starts and should run well again in this race from a good draw. 

ALDERBARAN STILINSKI (5) trialled up nicely finishing fourth behind Alwaysbjoy. He is a trotter with very good ability and his manners at times have let him down at various stages through his career. 

PINNIE (9) ran another very good race last time out finishing second to her star stablemate Gus in track record time at this track. She should get a good run through in this race and can be running on late.

SUGGESTED BET: GOLDEN SUNSET (6) to win. 

RACE 5

SPUNKYS GOTSECRETS (4) led last time out after showing good gate speed to lead early there and was run down late in fast time by Greased Lightnin and Dragon. He can lead again and should be hard to run down this time. 

BETTOR CHEER (1) should be able to drive through and repel the likely early challenge of Sweet Lad Jujon who is directly alongside him before handing over to one of the better chance. He was able to secure a similar run last time out and ran on late into third. 

BLACKJACK CRIPPA (9) should get a good run off the speed in this race from a soft trailing draw. He raced off the peg last time out and was excellent there running fourth in a race taken out by Greased Lightnin. He should be running on again. 

STARZZZ DESTINY (5) was beaten a very long way last time out when not suited to sitting without cover in that level of race which was taken out by Greased Lightnin. He may look to find a more economical run from a wide draw and will need some luck in running.

RACE 6 

WILLIAMS (4) should be able to work forward in the early stages of this race and find the front. He was very impressive two starts ago racing without cover and battling on for second behind stablemate Mostert. He backed that up with a good all the way win last time out and appears to find another suitable race. 

GLENEAGLE VEE CEE (1) has excellent gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead before handing over. He was shuffled back last time out and not beaten too far there in a race taken out by smart horse Mostert. 

BETTORS MOON (8) should get a good run through in this race to settle close enough on the pegs which should somewhat offset the clear rise in grade for this mare. She was running on nicely late last time out after sitting behind the leader. 

TARGARYEN (7) has an awkward draw in this race and looks likely to be shuffled back early in this race. He was forced to race without cover last time out and battled away well there for fifth behind Mostert.

SUGGESTED BET: GLENEAGLE VEE CEE (1) to place. 

RACE 7

OUR ULTIMATE JESSY (1) has reasonable gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead in the early stage of this race from a good draw. She was forced to race without cover last time out and battled on well there for third behind The Lady Dior. She should be hard to run down. 

PRINCESS ARNA (8) should get a good run through in the early stages of this race behind a gate speed horse in Our Ultimate Jessy. She secured a similar run behind the leader five starts ago and just came up a touch short behind Dove Lake. 

DOLLY ROCKET (3) secured a good run on the pegs two starts ago and was flashing home late into second behind Tizzy Lizzie. She may be shuffled back this time and if the race is run to suit she should be running on late. 

ROSTOVA (9) comes into this race third up from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness in this race. She should be able to tuck in behind the speed which is how she is seemingly best suited in her races and should be running on well late.

RACE 8

FIRE AND PASSION (5) was forced to sit without cover last time out at this track when applying strong pressure before racing to the lead and coring very impressively in fast time. This race looks no tougher than his latest outing and he should be very hard to beat again. 

JAMES ALFRED (2) has led in races previously but does appear to be a horse better suited when driven with a sit. He should get a good run from a favourable draw and won’t be far away. 

MY ULTIMATE ZANDER (1) draws ideally in this race and should settle in a prominent position early in this race. He secured a good run behind the speed last time out and was running on late into third behind stablemate Fire And Passion. 

BITE THE EAR MIKE (3) was running on late last time out into second behind FIRE AND PASSION (5). He should settle close in the small field and should be thereabouts again in what looks to be a very similar race.
