RACE 1

SERENA LOVE (8) looked set to run out a certain winner two starts ago before making a break in the last 50 metres and throwing away the race. She bounced back nicely last time out simply proving too good for her rivals. She draws well to follow the likely leader and should get her chance.

SECOND TO NUN (1) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead in this race. One of her latest starts leading she was only run down late by the very smart young trotter Raffie Jay. She should be hard to run down.

KICKING HORSE (2) secured a good run behind the leader two starts ago and was running on late into second behind Nonis Gold Class in what became a dash home. He draws to do no work early in this race and should be running on late.

ALADDIN SANE (4) put in a good run last time out when running on strongly late into second behind SERENA LOVE (8). He may be shuffled back a touch from the draw and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: SERENA LOVE (8), SECOND TO NUN (1), KICKING HORSE (2), ALADDIN SANE (4)

SUGGESTED BET: SECOND TO NUN (1) to win.

RACE 2

BLING YOUR A GAME (8) draws very awkwardly inside the back row in this race but does appear to bring some of the best form into this race. Seconds behind Maywyn Son Of Lou and Yippee Kiyay look good form for a race of this nature and with luck in running he should be hard to beat.

CHERRY SURPRISE (2) was terrific on debut when running on strongly late behind Shine Like Me before being left without cover in her following start and finished last but wasn’t beaten too far. She should be suited by the good draw and will be hard to hold out late.

DOUBLEFAULT (9) has been knocking on the door of a maiden win having put together three consecutive seconds. He got back last time out and chased hard there into second behind Big Reputation. He should be running on well again.

RESERVED FOR ME (6) ran a good third on debut behind stablemate Big Reputation. She is likely to have derived a lot of benefit from the outings and should run well in her second start.

SELECTIONS: BLING YOUR A GAME (8), CHERRY SURPRISE (2), DOUBLEFAULT (9), RESERVED FOR ME (6)

SUGGESTED BET: CHERRY SURPRISE (2) to win.

RACE 3

ROCKIN SWEET (2) has reasonably good gate speed and may look to press forward and look for the lead. He got shuffled back last time out and was running on well into fourth behind Pinkchampagne. He should run well.

LUVN OSMAN (8) will be relying on a bit of luck in this race drawn behind a horse which can mix his gate speed. He ran a good third last time out behind She Maybe Bettor in a similar race to the one he lands in here.

TAKE A CHANCE (1) hasn’t been showing a lot of gate speed in his races recently which could prove tricky from the good draw. He will likely look to be driving through and leading early and if he could lead he would take some running down.

KINGSBURY (10) appeared to be outclassed last time out when leading and giving ground late to finish seventh in a race he may have been better suited driven with a sit. He drops in class and may find this more suitable and could be running into it late.

SELECTIONS: ROCKIN SWEET (2), LUVN OSMAN (8), TAKE A CHANCE (1), KINGSBURY (10)

SUGGESTED BET: ROCKIN SWEET (2) to win.

RACE 4

FATE AWAITS (4) was terrific in defeat last time out behind one of his key rivals in this race FINAL DEADLINE (7). He was forced to do all the work there and was beaten under a length. If he can hold the advantage of the handicap in this race he should be a very good chance of turning the tables.

FINAL DEADLINE (7) was able to find the front and lead all the way last time out beating FATE AWAITS (4). He looks less suited the way this race could pan out given he will need to overcome a 30m metre handicap giving some of his key rivals a head start.

PATH TO GREATNESS (2) continues to make a mess of the start in stands which has proved costly for him on a number of occasions including last start when missing the start badly and being forced to make a wide run into it in the fastest part of the race. If he can bring better manners early he would become a chance in this race.

DRAGON (1) ran a good race last time out when sitting without cover and running a good second to stablemate Greased Lightnin. He looks well handicapped starting on the front but does meet some classy types in this race and will need a lot to go his way to be a winning hope.

SELECTIONS: FATE AWAITS (4), FINAL DEADLINE (7), PATH TO GREATNESS (2), DRAGON (1)

SUGGESTED BET: FATE AWAITS (4) to win.

RACE 5

POCKET BOOK (7) was forced to race without cover last time out over the 2138 which likely wouldn’t have suited her. She is likely to get back in the run in this race and should be running on strongly late.

SPORTS BOUNTY (4) had a tough run last time out and was well beaten behind stablemate Azor Ahai. He was an impressive winner his start prior rating good time at this track and trip.

HARRY KANE (10) got back in the run and was running on strongly late in a race taken out by he Maybe Bettor over the 2138. He has seemingly been best through his career over the 1660 and should get a good run off the speed.

MACS A DUDE (5) secured a good run behind the leader last time out and was running on late into third. He should get a good run off the speed and can look to be running on late.

SELECTIONS: POCKET BOOK (7), SPORTS BOUNTY (4), HARRY KANE (10), MACS A DUDE (5)

SUGGESTED BET: POCKET BOOK (7) to win.

RACE 6

SWEET ROCKY (2) has some gate speed and should be able to press forward and race in a prominent position in this race. He was very good two starts ago when sitting without cover and just being run down late by Studleigh Mark who had done no work.

UNCLE TONY (8) should get a good run through in this race following a gate speed horse in the early stages. He was able to find the front in a similar race last time out and scored an easy enough win there. With luck in running he should be running on late.

FIFTY THREE STARS (5) was able to lead and win comfortably enough on Saturday at Albion Park. He draws to get less favours in this race but can still find a prominent position and should run well again.

BONNIES CAM (1) has good gate speed and should be able to lead early before having options from there. He seems to be best when driven with a sit at this stage of his career and was running on strongly last time out into a close up fifth behind All Eyes On Bling.

SELECTIONS: SWEET ROCKY (2), UNCLE TONY (8), FIFTY THREE STARS (5), BONNIES CAM (1)

SUGGESTED BET: SWEET ROCKY (2) to win.

RACE 7

IAM HUGO (8) started a short price favourite last time out and didn’t have much luck there when well beaten. He looks to find a race where he should get a soft run on the pegs just behind the speed and should be running on strongly late.

STUDLEIGH ANNE (1) was able to secure a good run last time out at this track and was able to finish best to score. She draws well in this race and may be able to drive through and lead in the early stages which should see her hard to run down.

UBETONRED (10) found the front two starts ago and was able to score a big win leading all the way. He then had less luck in a stronger race and was well beaten. He can look to bounce back in this race.

SHEZ A PUNTER (6) put in a very good run last time out when being shuffled right back early before running on strongly late into third. She looks likely to be shuffled back again in this race and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: IAM HUGO (8), STUDLEIGH ANNE (1), UBETONRED (10), SHEZ A PUNTER (6)

SUGGESTED BET: IAM HUGO (8) to win.

RACE 8

RACANA (4) wasn’t quite at her absolute best last time out when securing a very good run before running on just fairly late into fourth behind Our Sweet Jess. She has a good draw in this race and can look to press forward and find a prominent position.

COSMIC FLYER (11) drops right back in class into this race having raced Leap To Fame last time out in the FFA. He should get a good run off the speed and if there is any tempo on he should be running on strongly.

BART BENTLEY (10) found trouble last time out and took no part there. He was very impressive his start prior when first up for the stable of Mitch Cox and can bounce back in this race.

KEAYANG KAUNA (7) returns to QLD after having six starts in NSW for three seconds and a win. She has good ability and despite the wide she should run well in this company.

SELECTIONS: RACANA (4), COSMIC FLYER (11), BART BENTLEY (10), KEAYANG KAUNA (7)

SUGGESTED BET: COSMIC FLYER (11) to win.
