Form Analysis: Albion Park October 9

RACE 1 

BLACKJACK SAM (5) was an impressive winner last time out when leading and holding off the late challenge of Blackjack who secured a good run close to the speed. He looks set to do it tough this time outside the leader but should find this a touch easier than his latest outing. 

FIT AND READY (4) got back in the run last time out and was running on nicely late not beaten far by Mullum Showgirl. She should settle close enough in the small field and can be running on well late with the right run. 

SWEET TIMES (3) has gate speed and will likely look to press through and lead in this race. He showed enough gate speed to lead in his latest start at Redcliffe when taking them all the way and rating good enough time for the grade. 

MEDELLIN (6) was able to sit without cover recently at Redcliffe and proved too good there in what was seemingly an easier race beating Aunty Mel. He draws poorly in this race outside the front row and will likely need a few things to go his way to win.

RACE 2 

WHY TANYA SUE (7) trialled up nicely recently in a trial taken out by pacer Majorita Jujon. She has very good ability and if she can bring her best manners on return she should be hard to beat. 

BLACK VIPER (11) got back in the run last time out and was running on nicely late into second behind Buster Dan. He seems to do his best work when sat up and saved for one run and should be running on late again in this race. 

NONIS GOLD CLASS (9) made a break early last time out and took no competitive part there. She lands a similar race and looks well placed if she bring her best manners. 

ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (4) sat without cover last time out and battled away well there for third behind Buster Dan who has been in excellent form. She should secure a good run and can be running on late.

RACE 3

BLACKJACK (10) secured a good run last time out and was attacking the line well late to be narrowly beaten by Blackjack Sam. He should secure a good run off the speed in this race and looks very hard to beat second up in the state. 

CAMERINA (8) was forced to race without cover last time out and was just run down late by Our Sweet Jess who secured the perfect run on her back. She draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race and will need luck at the right time to get into the clear. 

TWIN CITIES (9) led last time out and was able to win an easier race. This looks a lot tougher but she did take on a similar race three starts ago and wasn’t beaten far in third there. 

FRANCO NOT OUT (4) did plenty wrong on debut in QLD when fading out of it late in a strong race behind Ruggards Gee Tee. He has since trialled just fairly and may be worth watching until he shows a touch more.

RACE 4 

TORO LOCO (7) was left without cover two starts ago and put in a big run there when finishing second not beaten far behind Goodoldboysandbeer who has since run well. He should be able to press forward and find a prominent position in this race and should run well again. 

GIRL POWER (3) was a good winner two starts ago at this track when finding the front and taking them all the way over the 2138. She draws to advantage over a number of her key rivals and if she could find the lead again would likely be hard to run down. 

ULTIMATE ARK (8) draws awkwardly inside the back row but does appear well suited in this company. He was running on nicely late last time out in a race taken out by Longshot. 

MAYWYN VALENTINO (9) didn’t have a lot of luck when getting back and running on last time out into sixth behind Longshot. He should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late again.

RACE 5

PLAYING FOR KEEPS (2) led two starts ago and was run down late by Rocky Outlook who has since won again. She was left to do the work last time out when sitting outside of Erasmus and running well for second. She appears likely to be able to lead this time and should be hard to run down in this company. 

MAJOR SLIP UP (4) was shuffled back last time out at Marburg after drawing awkwardly inside the back row. He looks well graded in a race of this nature and is a horse which is capable of being driven to the speed of the race in this type of race. 

ROSIE POLLEN (8) led recently at this track and was just out stayed by Deep Regret who sat outside of her and proved too good. She draws awkwardly inside the back row behind a horse which doesn’t possess a lot of gate speed and will need luck at the right time. 

THREE CHORD RIFF (1) should secure a good run close to the speed in this race. She seems to lack change up speed but should be thereabouts in this race if it happens to be genuinely run.

SUGGESTED BET: PLAYING FOR KEEPS (2) to win. 

RACE 6 

SPLASHNDASH (4) was able to lead last time out and rolled along a strong tempo before just being run down late by Glenledi Boy who had the perfect run on his back. If he can work across to the lead in this race he should be hard to run down. 

STILLYOURSHOT (6) was forced to race without cover last time out at Redcliffe and was well beaten there behind Merry Jewel. If he can recapture some of his better form this race appears quite suitable. 

ALWAYS ADORNED (10) was running on nicely last time out into third at Redcliffe behind Nitrator. She had a few issues moving up to the gate in a recent at race at this track which saw her become a late scratching. Her best is good enough. 

LULU LUCIFER (1) has a good draw in this race to settle close in the run. She was able to secure a good run last time out 3 back on the pegs and was running on late into third behind Glenledi Boy.

RACE 7

SHADES OF MIKI (7) made a break early last time out before locking wheels which essentially ended his winning chances in that race. He had been terrific in two runs for the stable running two nice seconds having done the work in the run and can do the work again in this race and looks hard to beat. 

RUBY RHAYNE BOW (3) didn’t have things go her way last time out when left without cover in a race taken out by Miss Bay King Cole where she battled on reasonably for fourth. She looks the likely leader this time and can run well from there. 

MISTER MANAGER (9) was a nice winner three starts ago sitting close to the speed and sprinting best late to score. He should get a similar type of run in this race and can be running on late again. 

LOCH LAMOND (1) was able to secure a good run off the speed recently at this track and trip before sprinting over the top to score nicely. He steps up in grade but draws nicely and should run another good race.

RACE 8

LONGSHOT (7) was very impressive last time out doing plenty of work and proving too good rallying strongly up the home straight to win. He finds a similar race and should be able to work forward and find a prominent position again in this race. 

WEHAVTIME (6) was shuffled back last time out before attacking the line powerfully late finishing a close up second to Deep Regret. He should get a good run off the speed again and can be running on late. 

CHARLIE CHUCKLES (5) was taken on throughout last time out at Marburg before being run down late by Taylors Four who had the perfect run on the leaders back. He can press forward in this race and find a prominent position. 

MAYWYNS ACE (9) was shuffled back last time out over the 1660 at this track before running on well into fourth behind Deep Regret. He should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late.

RACE 9

NORTHVIEW CRUNCHA (9) has shown promise since joining the stable of Al Barnes with two good wins before finishing second last time out when seemingly out sprinted over the concluding stages. He should get a good run early and can settle close enough to figure in the finish again. 

ROCKIN IN PARADISE (2) led four starts ago over the 2040 at Redcliffe when badly over racing and just fading into third late but was still able to rate fast time for his own mile rate. If he can lead again in this race he is likely to take some running down. 

FIGHT FOR VICTORY (10) got back off the speed and made a wide run into it last time out when finishing a close up second behind All Eyes On Bling. He may get back again from the back row draw and can be running on strongly late. 

LLANFAIR LEWELLAN (4) secured a good run last time out on the pegs and was running on late into fourth in a race taken out by Bettor Cheer. He draws a touch awkwardly but looks suited in this race.
