Form Analysis: Marburg October 5

RACE 1 

WANNABE ME (2) has very good gate speed and should be able to work to the lead in the early stages of this race from a good draw. She led two starts ago at Redcliffe and was just run down late there. 

SUZIE RHAYNE BOW (5) did things wrong on debut last time out and finds herself ODM as a result in this race. She had trialled up reasonably and with better manners this time she can play a part in the finish. 

HUSTLE AND HOLD (4) made a break last time out which took her out of play. She has good gate speed and should find a prominent position in this race. 

OLIVIA RHAYBE BOW (6) was running on well enough last time out into fourth behind Jewel Reason at Albion Park. She draws a touch awkwardly but can be running on late if the gaps appear at the right time.

SUGGESTED BET: WANNABE ME (2) to win. 

RACE 2 

STONES (2) has good gate speed and should be able to find the front in the early stages of this race. He ran a good third last time out behind Doc Harvey at Albion Park in an effort that would likely see him hard to beat in this race. 

THE BLACK FOX (1) looks likely to get a good just behind the speed in this race from a good draw. He drew poorly last time out and wasn’t beaten far by Doolittle Doozzie there at Albion Park. 

GLENEAGLE HUNTER (6) should get a good run through in this race and should secure a good run behind the speed and with luck in running he looks hard to hold out late. He raced without cover last time out and battled on well there to finish a close up third. 

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (7) didn’t have much luck last time out when held up at a crucial stage. He should settle close enough from a good draw and can be running on late.

RACE 3

SERENUS (7) took on a much stronger race two starts ago and wasn’t beaten too far by Carly Perez. She is having her first Marburg start for her career in this race and will just need to handle the track from a back row draw. 

GALVARINO (2) should have the gate speed to find the front in this race from a good draw. He scored a good win after racing on the pegs at Albion Park four starts ago in an effort that should see him hard to beat in this race. 

BOLD PERSONALITY (1) may be shuffled back a touch early in this race. She got shuffled back last time out in a race and was running on late behind Azor Ahai. 

WICKED MACK (9) secured a good run close to the speed last time out in what may have been a stronger race and was running on late into third behind Whata Good Feeling.

RACE 4 

MAN OF ACTION (4) has very good gate speed and may be able to zip across and lead. He hasn’t seemingly been at his absolute best in recent outings but does find a weaker race and could bounce back into some form. 

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (5) was running on late into third behind Deep Regret at Albion Park last time out. He draws poorly again and may need a few things to go his way in the run. 

SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (7) was well beaten last time out behind Smirks Lika a boss but wasn’t suited there racing off the speed in a race which became a dash home. With a more genuine tempo he can be running on late. 

KEAYANG TARA (9) was able to find the front last time out and was just run down late by Doc Harvey who had the perfect run behind the leader. She should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late.

RACE 5

OCTOBER RACKETEER (9) looks a clear standout on class in this race and will be hard to beat despite the outside back row draw. He raced without luck last time out and was running on late in a race taken out by Azor Ahai.

YOGI (2) has good gate speed and may be able to zip across and lead early in this race which would likely see him hard to run down. He hasn’t started since late August which does look a query and he may need the run. 

MAJOR SLIP UP (6) draws awkwardly inside the back row and will need luck at the right time. Sat without cover last time out and battled on well for fifth behind Dipped In Silver. 

GRACENAVA (1) should settle close enough from a good draw in this race. She did things wrong from the stand start last time out and may be better suited back to the mobile in this race.

RACE 6 

CHARLIE CHUCKLES (1) doesn’t have brilliant gate speed but does find a race which there doesn’t appear to be any brilliant beginners drawn on the front row which could allow him to drive through and lead. He got back in the run last time out and was making up good ground late behind Smirks Lika Boss. 

TAYLORS FOUR (6) should get a good run through behind the potential leader in the run. She isn’t quite racing at her absolute best but with an ideal draw in a race without huge depth she should get her chance. 

GOTTA DREAM (7) should get a good run behind the speed in this race. He secured a good run last time out at Marburg and battled on well for third behind Gidup Captain. He should run well again. 

COOL DUDE JOEY (5) returns from a spell in this race and draws poorly outside the front row. He will need a few things to go his way but is capable of figuring in a race of this nature.

RACE 7

BARRACUDA (2) should be able to work to the lead in the early stages of this race from a good draw. He led last time out at Albion Park over the 2138 and was able to hold off Camerina late who has since run well. 

BITE THE EAR MIKE (7) will be looking for four wins in a row in this race having impressed in recent outings. He was able to work to the lead last time out and proved too good for Major Crunch. 

BETTOR BE BOHDI (1) has good gate speed and can lead early before having options from there. He got back from a wide draw last time out and was running on late behind BARRCUDA (2) who he takes on again in this race. 

GREATGREAT BOULDER (6) appears to draw reasonably in this race to do no work early. He likely wasn’t suited last time out burning to lead and holding in a stronger race and could be better suited with a softer run.

RACE 8

SPLASHNDASH (1) should have the gate speed to lead early in this race. He sat without cover and battled on well there for sixth behind Studleigh Anne. He should be hard to beat. 

GLENLEDI BOY (6) looks likely to get a great run through in this race behind SPLASHNDASH (1). He will be relying on luck at the right time to get into the clear but is a horse suited by a soft trailing draw and should be hard to beat. 

DUAL CAM (4) sat without cover last time out and battled on well there to finish fourth behind One Last Roll. He may be left to do the work again in this race but looks capable. 

B MAC C (8) was running on strongly last time out behind stablemate Studleigh Anne. He should get a good run off the speed again in this race and can be running on late if the race is run to suit.
