Form Analysis: Redcliffe October 25

RACE 1 

DOCTA FEELGOOD (2) loves to lead in his races and finds a race where he should be able to work to the early lead. He raced off the pegs last time out and faded late in a race taken out by Rock Nien. He should be hard to beat. 

IAM HUGO (4) secured a good run leaders back last time out and was running on late there into third. He might be shuffled back early in this race and should be running on late again. 

MY PURPLE PATCH (1) hasn’t been racing at his absolute best in recent outings. He was shuffled back last time out and just finished it off fairly late into midfield. 

KUZMA (8) was shuffled back last time out at Albion Park before running on nicely late into second behind Sweet Lad Jujon. He looks set to get a good run off the speed in this race and should be running on late.

RACE 2 

MY ULTIMATE COSSIE (5) got a long way back on the pegs last time out and was running on late there into fourth. He should find this race a lot easier than recent outings and looks well suited over the 2040. 

SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (3) has good early speed and might be able to press forward and lead before having options from there. He wasn’t suited last time out when making a wide run into it late at Albion Park over the 2138. 

HES REGAL (9) was able to secure the perfect run leaders back last time out and didn’t put in his best effort there when fading late. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and if he can bounce back to his best he should be hard to hold out. 

BLING THE NOISE (6) looks to draw awkwardly outside the front row in this race and will likely need a few things to go his way in the run. He wasn’t beaten far two starts ago behind Studleigh Mark in a stronger race at Albion Park.

RACE 3

OCTOBER RACKETEER (1) has very good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages. He led two starts ago but was just forced to go way too fast early for that grade of race and was entitled to tire late. He should be hard to run down. 

VODKA EN ICE (5) led last time out which is a position he loves to race in and was able to battle on for second behind The Tiger Army. He looks likely to get less favours from the draw in this race but does look well graded. 

DOOO DON’T THINK (7) led recently at this track over the 2040 and battled on fairly there for third. He should get a good run through in this race behind the likely leader and should get every chance from there. 

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (9) looks suited in this company and should get a good run off the speed in this race. She got back and was running on fairly late over the 2040 last time out at this track and should be better suited 1780 in this race.

RACE 4 

SUNNY COVE (1) returns in this race without a trial which looks a query. He does have very good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages and on his best efforts he should be hard to run down. 

ROSIES BOY (9) should get a good run off the speed in this race from a favourable trailing draw. He got a good run off the speed last time out and worked home nicely into fifth behind Harry Kane who led and won. He should be running on again. 

ROCKIN SWEET (8) took on a much stronger race last time out when well beaten by King Bobbie in good time for the grade at Albion Park. He should get a soft run early in this race and can be running into it late if the race is run to suit. 

ITS A SPONGE DARL (7) should get a good run through behind the likely leader in this race. She secured a good run on the pegs last time out and wasn’t beaten too far at Albion Park in a race taken out by Milliewood.

SUGGESTED BET: ROSIES BOY (9) to win. 

RACE 5

YOGI (8) put in a very good run last time out when working early before finding a position before the leader and battling on well for third there. He was having his first run there for over a month and is likely to have derived good benefit from the outing. 

TACKAS LAST DANCE (6) sat without cover two starts ago and battled on well for fifth there given that isn’t usually a position she is best suited to in her races. If she can secure the right run she can be running on late. 

GOOD WORD THAT (9) hasn’t been at his best in recent outings but does appear to find a very suitable race. He looks likely to get a good run off the speed in a race likely to generate a good early tempo. 

DOC HARVEY (2) was a recent winner at Albion Park when sitting behind the leader and proving too good there. He should have the gate speed to find a forward position again in this race and will have options from there.

SUGGESTED BET: YOGI (8) to win. 

RACE 6 

STORMY MIDNIGHT (4) took on a much stronger race last time out taken out by Skip To Me Lou in fast time when beaten just over 15m. If he can repeat his latest effort given a good draw in this race he should be incredibly hard to beat. 

AIMEES ALIAS (7) was running on nicely two starts ago behind Olivia Rhayne Bow at this track. This looks quite an awkward draw in this race but with luck she looks to have strong claims. 

BETTY WINKLE (1) has good gate speed and should settle close enough in this race from a good draw. She ran well last time out behind Exit Stage Left at Kilcoy. 

TEN AND TWO (3) ran well three starts ago at Marburg behind Azzif. He looks to find a suitable race but does draw a touch awkwardly.

RACE 7

MAJOR MISCHIEF (3) returns from a spell in this race having taken on stronger company towards the end of his last campaign. He should be able to work to the lead early in this race and if he can go anywhere near his best he is likely to be very hard to run down. 

MAGIC NITRO (7) looks to draw quite awkwardly inside the back row in this race and hasn’t been racing at her absolute best. She may not have been ideally suited on the grass last time out and can look to bounce back. 

TODAYS HERO (8) hasn’t won since June when leading all the way at Marburg. He wasn’t suited getting back and running on behind Siya at Kilcoy last time out. 

WILLROBY (1) ran a better race last time out at Kilcoy when running on late into third there. He draws well and should get a good run on the pegs.

RACE 8

THREEFIVEONE (1) was excellent two starts ago when finishing a very close up third behind Perfect Lou and French Bubbles. She draws to be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race and should be hard to run down. 

DARK AND HANDSOME (6) made an error early last time out which took him out of play there but he was still able to run through the line well enough late. He was very impressive two starts ago scoring a big win at Kilcoy. 

THATS OUR BOY (9) led two starts ago and was run down late by Wicked De Lil. He should get a good run off the speed and if the race is run to suit he can be running on late. 

JUNIOR RYAN (8) raced in much stronger company last time out before heading for a spell. He returned in a recent trial and didn’t quite go to his best when tiring late there but is likely to have derived good benefit from the outing.
