Form Analysis: Redcliffe October 28

RACE 1 

CALLING BUDDY (5) looked to be a near good thing beaten two starts ago when carted out of the race at a crucial stage before running on late into third not beaten too far. He looks likely to be shuffled back in this race and can be running on strongly late again. 

BETTATHAN POPSY (6) draws poorly in this race outside the front row but does look well graded in this race. He drew poorly and didn’t have a lot of luck last time out at Albion Park when getting back and running on late. 

GREATGREAT BOULDER (1) should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race from a perfect draw. He hasn’t quite been at his absolute best in recent outings but does appear to drop a touch in grade and can look to bounce back. 

COMMODORE JUJON (7) looks set to get a perfect run through in the early stages of this race drawn behind a horse with good gate speed. He was a good second two starts ago running on late into second behind Mahindi at this track.

RACE 2 

FAVREAU (2) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race. He reunites with Nathan Dawson in this race having won consecutive races with Nathan on board in late August and early September. He should be hard to run down.

COOL DUDE JOEY (8) has bounced back into some better form in recent outings. He got back in the run last time out and was flashing into it late when finishing fourth behind Malarky. He is likely nearing peak fitness and can run well from a soft draw. 

PRINCE JOY (9) got back in the run last time out and finished it off nicely there into third behind Mitchells Run. He should get a similar run off the speed in this race and should be running on late again. 

JACCKA COOPER (1) was shuffled back on the pegs last time out and hit the line well late when running fourth. He should secure a good run just behind the speed and can be running on late.

RACE 3

LITTLEMICKEY (4) draws a touch awkwardly in this race but does appear to be down in grade on some of his better efforts. He started first up last time out when sitting close to the speed and finishing fourth not beaten far behind Mitchells Run. 

MISTER DELWIN (1) has good gate speed and should be able to lead before having options from there. Sat behind the leader last time out and just couldn’t quite get into the placings late in a race taken out by Ashlee Nitro. 

REAL MIKI (10) got back in the run and couldn’t get into it late in a race taken out by Malarky at Redcliffe. He draws poorly and likely gets shuffled back again but should be running on late. 

WHERES MY BLING (9) secured a good run on the pegs last time out at this track and was able to hang on for third behind Malarky. She draws less favourably this time but should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late.

SUGGESTED BET: LITTLEMICKEY (4) to win. 

RACE 4 

DENIS THE PUNTER (4) has good gate speed and should be able to press forward and find the lead early. The last time he was able to lead he took them all the way and rated good time at this track. 

MALARKY (6) has a wide draw which looks quite awkward on paper in this race. She was able to burn for the lead last time out and held off the late challenge of The Torque Effect who had the perfect run on her back. 

MISTER FREEMAN (7) led last time out and was forced to roll along a very genuine tempo before fading into fourth late behind Saturday Dance. He draws awkwardly but with luck in running should be hard to hold out late. 

HIGHNMIGHTY (9) did the work last time out and was well beaten there. She may be better suited this time sat up and saved for one run and can look to bounce back in this race.

RACE 5

LITTLE WHIPPET (9) draws to do no work early in this race in a field which he looks to be quite well suited in. He was well beaten last time out but has had a few weeks between runs and can look to bounce back in this race. 

ALLSHECANBE (2) has gate speed and may look to press forward and hold the lead this time. She ran well for third last time out behind Aesthete in what appeared to be a stronger race. 

BLACK GEMSTONE (8) was forced to do the work outside the leader last time out. She ran well two starts ago when finishing third behind Playing For Keeps. 

BOSTON ASSASSIN (1) doesn’t have the best numerical form but does appear to find the right type of race and draws ideally to settle just behind the speed. He drew gate one four starts ago and was able to run fourth there in what was a stronger race.

RACE 6 

JUKEBOX JET (6) has run four consecutive second placings in his last four starts and went very close to breaking through last time out when appearing to be quite unlucky finding traffic at a crucial stage behind Major Ark. He draws poorly but looks ready to win. 

SNIP OF BEAUTY (4) did some early work at this track over the 2040 in a race taken out by Ashlee Nitro. She may be better suited sat up and saves for one run and should settle close in the run. 

THREE CHORD RIFF (2) has the good draw in this race and may look to press through and lead in the early stages of the race. The last time she led she set a very strong tempo in the Redcliffe Showcase final which was taken out by Hes All Torque. 

MISS HATTIE (5) secured a good run behind the speed last time out and was running on late into fourth behind Man Of Action. She may be shuffled back and can be running on late. 

SELECTIONS: JUKEBOX JET (6), SNIP OF BEAUTY (4), THREE CHORD RIFF (2), MISS HATTIE (5)

SUGGESTED BET: JUKEBOX JET (6) to win. 

RACE 7

MERITS RESPECT (5) was shuffled back last time out from a wide draw early and was running on nicely late into second behind Free Reign. He remains ODM for this race but does still draw to advantage over his key rival ILLBERIDINGSHOTGUN (6) and should be hard to beat. 

ILLBERIDINGSHOTGUN (6) started outside the front row last time out and was running on late into third behind Harry The Hat and Fan The Flame at Albion Park. He draws outside the front row as a result of his ODM tag but finds a suitable race. 

DISEMBARK (8) was running on nicely late last time out behind stablemate Jovial Jim at this track. He appears to be closing in strongly on a maiden win and if the race is run to suit he should be hard to hold out late. 

PAMPERED ART (9) looks to draw awkwardly in this race outside the back row. She looks to have place claims at best in this race.

SUGGESTED BET: MERITS RESPECT (5) to win. 

RACE 8

LOUARK (2) should be able to find the front in the early stages of this race. He has previously led and won easily at this track and can look to do the same again in this race. 

FREE REIGN (4) was able to force his way to the lead last time out before taking them all the way. He draws reasonably and is likely to have derived good benefit from his latest outing following a long spell. 

JOVIAL JIM (5) sat without cover last time out at this track and proved too good there holding off the late challenge of his stablemate Disembark. He can look to press forward again in this race and should be thereabouts. 

UNTENTABLE (8) showed promise last time in running a number of good races including a win sitting without cover at this track. He has trialled well in preparation for his return and draws favourably.
