Form Analysis: Redcliffe October 7

RACE 1 

MOONSHINE MILLY (9) should get a good run off the speed in this race. He got a good run off the speed last time out and was able to run over the top to beat Denis The Punter. He looks hard to beat again. 

PUNTERS JEWEL (10) looks well drawn to get a soft run through in the early stages of the race. He drew poorly last time out and wasn’t beaten too far at Albion Park by Dragon. He should be running on late. 

DELIGHTFULLY SWEET (5) was a very impressive first up winner when sitting without cover and racing clear late. She backed that up with a good second last time out behind Merry Jewel. 

ZAC DANIELS (2) has good gate speed and is likely to look to press for the lead in the early stages which is a position he seems to do his best racing in. If he was able to find the front in this race he could bounce back to some better form.

RACE 2 

MAHINDI (9) did a lot of work last time out before being left without cover and was very good to run third behind Calling Buddy. She draws outside the back row but has been racing in good form and in an even field she should run well again. 

SOME CHEVRON (4) starts first up in this race for the stable of Alex Johnson having previously raced in NSW. He should settle close enough in the run and if he’s ready to go first up he should be running on late. 

BLACKJACK CRIPPA (5) was able to secure the ideal run close to the speed with cover last time out and ran on late into fourth behind Calling Buddy. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and if the race is run to suit he can be running on late. 

MARDIBRINGSPARTY (2) was shuffled back last time out in a race taken out by Stormtide over the 2040 at this track. She draws well and may be able to press to the lead and could be suited by the step back to the 1780 in this race.

RACE 3

SWEET NELLIE JOY (6) led recently at this track and was run down late by Nitrator who had the perfect run on her back. She appears to have a key draw advantage on her main rivals in this race drawing the front row and can look to maintain that. 

MITCHELLS RUN (10) led last time out at this track and was just run down late by Jive Master. He is likely to have derived good benefit from the outing but does draw outside the back row this time. 

MALARKY (7) should get a good run through in this race behind a horse with reasonable early speed. She was able to lead recently at this track and trip and was just run down late by Magicol Idea. 

HYNOTIZE ME (1) draws well in this race and should be able to lead before having options from there. He was running on well late last time out into third behind Britts Mate.

RACE 4 

TAKE COURAGE (5) is a capable sit sprinter and could be suited getting back and running on in a race which could generate a good early tempo. She didn’t have a lot of luck last time out and was running on strongly late into second behind Doolittle Doozzie. 

SHADYS DELIGHT (7) looks suited over the track and trip but does face an awkward inside back row draw. He got back and was running on late last time out in a slowly run race. 

TACKAS LAST DANCE (10) struck trouble last time out at a crucial stage when locking stays and losing all momentum. She is likely to get a good run off the speed and should be running on late. 

TAURUS BROMAC (9) secured a good run close to the speed last time out and just battled on fairly there when finishing fourth. He is likely to get back in the run and can be running on late.

RACE 5

ULTIMATE HUNTER (6) has been very impressive since landing in the stable of Matthew Johnstone scoring two nice wins. He has shown versatility winning from the breeze before finding the top and winning again. He should settle close enough and looks hard to beat. 

NEED NOT TO WARRY (9) looks set to get a good run off the speed in this race in a race which could generate a good early tempo. He got back in the run at Marburg and was running on nicely 

ROLLYARRRZ (2) has a good draw in this race but may not quite have the speed to work across to the pegs in the early stages of the race. He ran well last time out settling close to the speed and finishing third behind Pinkchampagne and Rosies Boy who both raced on the pegs in the run. 

VICTREE ATOM (1) has reasonable gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead before having options from there. He drew poorly first up when getting back and running on late at Albion Park. He should be better for the outing and can run well again.

RACE 6 

JOVIAL JIM (8) took on a strong race last time out taken out by Lots Of Change at Albion Park. He returns from a spell in this race and appears very well suited in this field. He should be hard to beat.

WHAT IS HIS NAME (4) sat without cover last time out on an incredibly slow tempo in a race the leader was able to get away with plenty and out dashed him over the final 200m of the race. He should be able to work forward and find a prominent position and should go well from there. 

PAMPERED ART (1) was shuffled a long way back last time out before running on fairly late. She is likely to have derived benefit from the run and should get a good run in this race from an ideal draw. 

STRAWBERRIESNCREAM (2) secured a good run three back on the pegs last time out and was able to sprint nicely into second. She should get a good run close to the speed and can be running on late again. 

SELECTIONS: JOVIAL JIM (8), WHAT IS HIS NAME (4), PAMPERED ART (1), STRAWBERRIESNCREAM (2)

SUGGESTED BET: JOVIAL JIM (8) to win. 

RACE 7

AESTHETE (3) found the front last time out and was able to score an easy win leading all the way to beat Captains Run. He looks the leader again in this race and finds a weaker field which should see him incredibly hard to run down again. 

ROCKY OUTLOOK (6) impressed two starts ago when securing the perfect run leaders back before sprinting nicely to reel in Playing For Keeps late. He has a lot less favours from the wide draw in this race but should be running on well late if the race is run to suit.

ORION ART (5) secured a good run two starts ago and battled on fairly there for third. She is likely to get less favours from a wide draw but does meet a field without a lot of depth. 

WICKED WHISKEY (1) started first up for a new stable last time out and was only able to manage eighth there but did take on a stronger field in a race taken out by Same Old Devil. He should get a good run close to the speed and can be thereabouts late.

SELECTIONS: AESTHETE (3), ROCKY OUTLOOK (6), ORION ART (5), WICKED WHISKEY (1)

SUGGESTED BET: AESTHETE (3) to win. 

RACE 8

DISEMBARK (5) got a good run last time out off the speed in a stronger race before being badly held up at a crucial stage in a race taken out by Lots Of Heart. He looks the class horse in this field and should be hard to beat. 

OUTRUNTHETIDE (2) wasn’t seemingly suited last time out doing all the work in the run before fading out of it late at this track. If she was able to work to the lead in this race she could prove hard to run down.

BOSTON BOUND (1) has good gate speed but has seemingly been best suited when driven with cover. She took a sit last time out and battled on fairly for third there behind Mcrockin at this track and trip. 

AURELIE (6) made a break again last time out taking her out of play. She was impressive first up this time in when making a break and recovering to finish third. With better manners she could run a good race.
