Form Analysis: Redcliffe October 8

RACE 1 

FAN THE FLAME (1) has the good draw in this race and should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of the race. She led four starts ago at this track and was run down late by Sweet Leah Jane. She appears to find an easier race and should be hard to beat. 

MATT DAN (5) got back in the run in a very slowly run race and run on fairly into fourth. He looks to be drawn quite awkwardly in this race and will need a few things to go his way in the run. 

FORGETTABLE (7) has looked to switch on and off a touch out in front in his races and could potentially be better suited with a sit in this race. He appears likely to get a good run through and should be running on late. 

GOLDCLASS (2) draws well on debut and was solid in sixth in a recent trial behind Big Reputation who came out and won nicely on debut.

RACE 2 

PICCOLO DIAVOLO (5) sat without cover last time out and battled on well for a close up second behind Luvatinny. He draws wide and is likely to be shuffled back and can be running on strongly late. 

PERFECT LOU (2) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead in this race. He led last time out and was run down late by Same Old Devil who rated good time winning. 

CALL KELLY (6) found the front last time out and didn’t seem to go to her best there when fading out of it late to finish fourth behind Usual Suspect. She may be taken back at the start this time and can be running on late. 

AUNTY MEL (3) has been able to find the front in her latest two outings and potentially draws to get a few less favours this time. She should settle close enough in the run and can be running on late.

RACE 3

THE REAL ROCKETMAN (8) secured a good run off the speed last time out and was running on fairly behind Illbewatching. He should get a good run off the speed again and can be running on late. 

ROYAL WINKLE (4) has good gate speed and should be able to press forward and find the lead in the early stages of this race. Four starts ago he led and was well beaten by Ultimate Hunter who has since won again. 

EBONY BELLE (6) sat without cover two starts ago and was able to battle on well for third behind Tracer Bullet. She is likely to press forward again and should be thereabouts on her best. 

DIAMOND DEANO (6) crossed last time out before handing over to his stablemate Illbewatching before finishing second. He draws wide and will need a few things to go his way but is racing well.

RACE 4 

THE TIGER ARMY (10) sat without cover last time out and applied strong pressure there before being nabbed right on the line by War Club. He draws to do no work early and can be driven to the speed of the race. 

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (1) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead before having options from there. She led three starts ago and ran well finishing second behind Terragong Swinger. 

LAST CALL (7) should get a good run through in this race behind the speed. She was running on nicely into third two starts ago behind Its One Life who led all the way there. 

LITTLE WHIPPET (2) should be able to press forward in this race and find the front. He found the front last time out and was able to run out a dominant winner there albeit in a weaker race.

RACE 5

CARLY PEREZ (2) got back in the run last time out and looked to have plenty to give when running into dead ends late. She may be able to press forward and find the lead this time and could be hard to beat. 

CHEEKY BABY (1) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead before having options from there. She elected to hand over after leading early recently and was running on nicely in a race taken out by Delightfully Sweet. 

SAME OLD DEVIL (9) should get a good run off the speed in this race and can be running on late. He made a wide run into it last time out and was able to score nicely there beating Perfect Lou rating good time. 

HIGHNMIGHTY (4) secured a great run close to the speed with cover last time out and was seemingly a touch disappointing when fading out of it late. He is likely to have derived benefit from the outing and could be better over 1780.

RACE 6 

O B LEGAL (5) was a good winner three starts ago over the 2138 at Albion Park when running on best to score. He looks suited in this grade of race and should be hard to hold out late. 

MAJOR CRUNCH (6) was an impressive winner recently over the 2138 at Albion Park running on best late to score. He draws poorly in this race outside the front row but does appear one of the class runners. 

KICK THE SWITCH (8) was running on nicely late last time out in a race taken out by Calling Buddy over the 2040 at this track. He should secure a good run in this race and can be running on strongly. 

MISTER SEASIDE (2) draws well in this race to settle close to the speed and looks very well suited in a race of this nature. He has a short sharp sprint on him and with the right run he should go close.

RACE 7

ITS BACK PAGE NEWS (1) has very good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead early. She led last time out over the 2138 at Albion Park and was just run down late by She Maybe Bettor who had an economical run in the race. 

THE HARRIS HAWK (7) should get a good run through in this race behind the likely leader in the race. He was running on nicely in a similar race two starts ago by TERRAGONG SWINGER (6).

LITTLELIONELJAMES (4) was running on late last time out into third behind Jive Master over the 2040 at this track. He is likely better suited over the 1780 and should be suited by the front row draw. 

TERRAGONG SWINGER (6) has impressed this time in scoring consecutive wins two and three starts ago at this track. He draws poorly in this race and may be shuffled a long way back.

RACE 8

JIVE MASTER (6) secured a good run off the speed last time out and was running on strongly to score over the 2040 at this track. He draws poorly in this race and may be shuffled a long way back but should be running on well again. 

RATATATTAT (8) seems to be best suited when saved up for one run. He looks suited by a soft trailing draw and should get a good run through early in this race. 

LOSTANDFOUND (2) has gate speed and may look to press forward and find the lead. He seems to be a horse with good ability but just struggles to win having placed 10 times for just 3 wins. He can be thereabouts again. 

MACK ATTACK (1) returns from a spell in this race and looks suited by the draw. He should settle close enough and can be running on late.
