Gayndah meeting transferred to Gympie

Racing Queensland confirms that following the abandonment of the Gayndah Jockey Club race meeting on Saturday, October 10, an alternative venue has been secured for the meeting and it will now be hosted by Gympie Turf Club. 

The transfer of the race meeting has brought about changes to the program and they comprise: 

• Benchmark 70 Handicap 1000m, is now 1030m;
• Class 3 Plate 1200m, is now 1170m;
• Benchmark 55 Handicap 1200m, is now 1170m (Burnett to Beach series heat);
• Ratings Band 0 - 50 Handicap 1000m, is now 1030m;
• Maiden Plate (Set Weights), 1200m, is now 1170m

Acceptances for this meeting have been re-extended until 2pm today, with jockey declaration at 4pm.
