QRIC formalises Greyhound Raceday Hydration Policy

The Queensland Racing Integrity Commission has today confirmed its Greyhound Raceday Hydration Policy, which formalises existing raceday hydration practices into a single, statewide framework.

The policy has been developed to support positive welfare outcomes for racing greyhounds, recognising the importance of appropriate hydration and cooling practices throughout race day operations. It also ensures decisions can be tailored to the needs of an individual greyhound.

This policy is an initiative directly aligned to The Next Lap: A plan for the future of Queensland racing.
