Yeppoon Turf Club meeting transferred
29 October 2026
Racing Queensland advises that the meeting scheduled for the Yeppoon Turf Club Saturday, October 31 has been transferred to the Rockhampton Jockey Club.
The Yeppoon track has received significant rainfall over the last seven days. After extensive works the track remains waterlogged with no chance of drying out, and the track has been deemed unsuitable for racing.
The transfer to Rockhampton will result in some minor distance changes. They are:
- Race 2 – Maiden Plate 1000m, is now 1050m;
- Race 3 – Class 4 Plate 1000m, is now 1050m;
- Race 4 – Ratings Band 0-50 Handicap 1000m, is now 1050m; and
- Race 5 Country Stampede Qualifier 1000m, is now 1050m.
The apprentice claims remain Country. All other conditions remain the same.
