Form Analysis: Marburg November 8

RACE 1 

LIGHTYEAR (1) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead early in this race from the good draw. He should find this considerably easier than some of his recent outings and looks a clear standout in this race. 

STORMY MIDNIGHT (9) was able to keep up quite well last time out in a much stronger race taken out by Fit And Ready last time out. He ran a reasonable race his start prior when finishing a well beaten second behind Aimees Alias. 

EL JEFE (4) ran well for third last time out behind Aimees Alias at Redcliffe. He draws a touch awkwardly in this race but should settle close enough and can be running on late. 

TEN AND TWO (7) ran well enough for sixth last time out behind Aimees Alias. He doesn’t look a winning hope on paper but can be running into the minor money if the race is run suit.

SUGGESTED BET: LIGHTYEAR (1) to win. 

RACE 2 

DEAL IT VINNIE (5) looks a clear standout on class in this race and should be very hard to beat despite drawing widest. He sat without cover three starts ago and was able to prove too good at this track rating good time. 

CHECKINGOUTTHEBILL (6) should get a reasonable run through in this race behind the speed. He ran well two starts ago when running on strongly into second behind Threefiveone. 

TRAVELNFEELIN (1) has landed the ideal draw in this race and can lead before having options from there. He raced without cover last time out and was well beaten as a result there. 

FLUTTERING ANGEL (8) returns from a spell in this race. She was forced to race without cover in her latest outing and battled on reasonably there for fifth.

SUGGESTED BET: DEAL IT VINNIE (5) to win. 

RACE 3

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (9) didn’t have much luck last time out when sitting without cover before fading out of it late. He looks well graded in this race and despite the poor draw he can figure in the finish. 

SAYCHELLES (7) was able to secure a good run off the speed in this race from a soft trailing draw. She ran well last time out when getting back and running on behind Courageous Leo. 

SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (8) draws awkwardly in this race and will likely need the race run to suit. Ran a reasonable fourth two starts ago at this track after sitting close to the speed behind Copy Writer. 

NO FAMILY LIKEMINE (1) draws well in this race and has good gate speed but has seemingly been much better recently when driven with a sit.

RACE 4 

ALWAYSBJOY (6) draws quite awkwardly in this race inside the back row but does appear to be a clear standout on class and should find this a considerable drop in grade on her recent outings. She took on a strong race last time out and was able to run third there behind Ideal Bronski and Ruggards Gee Tee. 

FITZROY (3) took on a strong trial taken out by Captain Shuffles recently at Albion Park and is likely to have taken good benefit from the outing. He ran well two starts ago behind Surreal Moran in the consolation of the Redcliffe Derby. 

SWEET ROCKY (7) did a lot of work two starts ago and was able to prove too good there for Bonnies Cam. He draws to do no work early in this race and can be driven to the speed of the race. 

ROCK NIEN (2) has the draw advantage on a number of his key rivals in this race and may look to press forward and find the lead in the early stages of the race. He was running on well last time out into third after getting a long way back in the run at Redcliffe.

RACE 5

SKINNY HORACE (1) has good gate speed and has previously led and run well in races. He didn’t have a lot of luck last time out in a race taken out by Dipped In Silver at Redcliffe. 

VICTREE ATOM (6) should get a good run through in this race behind the likely leader SKINNY HORACE (1). He ran well three starts ago finishing second behind Rollyarrrz. He should get every chance from a favourable draw. 

SKYLAR BREE (8) secured a good run off the speed last time out and was flashing home there into third behind Beau Steele. She should get a good run off the speed again in this race and can be running on well late. 

MAJOR MISCHIEF (10) was a winner two starts ago first up from a spell when leading all the way at Redcliffe. He comes into this race third up from a spell and can be running on if the race is run to suit.

SUGGESTED BET: SKINNY HORACE (1) to win. 

RACE 6 

MARTIN MAGIC (2) has excellent gate speed and may be able to zip across at the start of this race and find the lead. He sat close to the speed last time out and battled on fairly there for fifth behind Tralee Snickas who has since won again. 

JAMES ALFRED (6) should secure a good run behind the speed in this race. He should find this a lot easier than his latest outing when finishing second behind Fire And Passion. 

QUEEN TIDE (1) has moderate gate speed and should settle close to the speed in this race. She trialled up reasonably recently at this track and should be better for the outing. 

COMMODORE JUJON (7) should get a good run off the speed and should be running into it late. He secured a good run behind the speed last time out and was able to run a good second there behind Greatgreat Boulder.

SUGGESTED BET: MARTIN MAGIC (2) to win. 

RACE 7

CHARLIE CHUCKLES (1) showed good gate speed to lead last time out at Redcliffe and was just run down late by Redcliffe champion Ashlee Nitro. He should be able to lead again in this race and should be very hard to run down at Marburg. 

KINGSBURY (6) should get a good run behind the likely leader in this race. He drew poorly last time out getting back and was running on late into third in a race taken out by Party Changer. 

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (7) should get a good run through behind the speed in this race from a soft trailing draw. She was able to lead and win three starts ago at this track and distance. 

LULU LUCIFER (8) should get a good run off the speed in this race. She generally races well at this track and seems to like being sat up and saved for one run.

RACE 8

SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (2) should have the speed to get across to the lead in the early stages. He battled on well last time out behind The Real Rocketman over 2138 at Albion Park.

GOTTA DREAM (3) should be able to work across to the running line and settle close in this race. She ran well for second behind October Racketeer after finding the leaders back early in that race. 

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (5) draws wide in this race but looks to be one of the class runners in this field. He got back two starts ago and was able to beat his stablemate Rosie Pollen. 

EIFFEL FROM HEAVEN (1) should get a good run just behind the speed in this race from the ideal draw. She has drawn poorly on both outings in QLD so far and should run a better race.
